Uploading files mimunim is too small

Post by BirdieBoo »

Is there a way to make the maximum upload file size bigger than 300kb? These days any photo a person takes is going to be over 1mb, i wanted to post a photo of my mystic island unboxing and could not even post one photo. i even tried to take a screenshot of the photo itself to possible lower the file size and had no luck. I know that I could do this if I were to go to my laptop, open up photoshop and optimize the photo to a smaller file size, but that’s a little much, and I suspect that’s going to be a lot for anybody else, which is unfortunate. Hopefully this can be adjusted!

Larger pictures use a lot of resources. Storage and computational. I don't believe the number was chosen arbitrarily. But we will look into it.

You could always upload the file to Imgur and post the link here like we did on reddit.

You can right-click a picture file and open with Paint (on Windows). In Paint, you can resize the picture with an aspect ratio. Like, if you want to reduce it by 50%, it will reduce it vertically and horizontally, equally. Or, you can reduce it via pixels, however with this method a picture can get grainy if you make it too small or too big.
