Contact your supplier and say your going to spend $175 for mit testing and if it comes back much lower then reported hes/she is paying. Lol

Almost all kratom is 1.1-1.6%. Reds are typically 1.0% or less.
A lot, sure, especially during wet season. Almost all? I guess it depends what your definition of almost all is. Pretty much all the vendors on the vetted vendor list here bring in kratom testing well above that range on the regular. I guess you can distrust their results but I really doubt they're collectively falsifying paperwork from reputable labs.
I just wasted ALOT of time and went through that list and saw exactly what i was saying. 1.2-1.6% is a LARGE majority of all mit levels. You can find some stuff in the 1.8% range here or there but its like 1 out of 40 strains. 1.4-1.6% is the range for green kratom.

Ive been buying and selling kratom for along time. Purchasing from high to low, small to big. Kratom is a commodity over there and its nearly impossible to find anything but plantation grown kratom now. The wild grown is so small of the harvested commodity that its super rare to get. Its also not something that scales well. Ordering from a small family run business in Indonesia that harvests wild trees, 20kg is fine, but once you start asking for 100-300kg every month they cant do it, there's not enough trees to be harvested near where they live. They then turn to the wholesalers and resell you from plantation grown wholesalers. Rainy season vs dry season is just a matter of the Indonesians selling whats new vs whats been in storage. The workers dont work as much in the rainy season and drying kratom becomes harder and more risky for quality/safety issues with the product. 1.2-1.6% is all you need out of kratom, the good experiences involve having enough mit and then enough of the additional akaloids to produce an overall great time. Mit by itself is just a check mark in your brain. It wants to see certain levels of mit, the other akaloids are what shape and fine tune your experience.

Yeah you're right. Not a lot is even breaking 1.5 right now. Just to nitpick though, 1 in 40 feels a little disingenuous, as most of the blends from any particular vendor are just the same Kratom - for example, Philly's 25 or so blends are all just the same 3 batches of kratom blended differently. I know at least 3 of those vendors have product that are above 1.6 right which is a decent amount. Definitely less than I was expecting though!

Definitely agree though - most of my favorite kratom sits around 1.6 and a lot of the 1.8+ stuff seems to lack the "magic."

This link will take you to our south zone these are about 7.5ft tall, this specific zone has tested off the charts of over 4% alkaloids in total and 3.1% mitragynine, but on average but north and south zone are all testing at 2.7-3.1% mit which is a good sustainable average. https://www.reddit.com/r/Kratom_Info_Ex ... _content=1

Quite observant and it goes beyond that - even among different vendors many may use the same sources - this is why, IMHO, it's EXTREMELY important to not only rotate your batches but rotate your vendors among a WIDE range including (if you can) private vendors that *generally* have sources that most do not.

While my rotation of around 100+ batches is *mostly* TFH and Denette, I still have five or ten other vendors scattered in there that I use which definitely breaks up the pattern. For me Denette is particularly nice because he also identifies his batches by HIS sources, so if I am doing a day where I take another Denette batch (which I usually avoid) I make sure it's from a different source of his than the first one.

The general rule of thumb is to not take from the same vendor more than once every three days - as I said, in my rotation this is tough to manage but I normally get really good results so I'm hoping that TFH also has very unique sources among their batches.
