Can kava be put into capsules?

I got some size 00 capsules and realized if you don't have one of those capsule filling devices, it is a very long, messy, and tedious process. Not sure if it's worth it. It's a lot easier to toss n' wash, and quicker too.

Stimie, I've never tried, but Gaia Herbs (not the kratom vendor, the big herbal company) sells kava in capsules that's not bad:
