9:02- I’ve never had leaf so fresh, the being said, this is my 1st time getting a fresh batch, all my others have been from the trade block or a batch that’s been is stock for a while
9:10- taste normal, nothing to report
9:30- this is soooo strong. Mid spec. VERY euphoric and warm. Email them, they give FREE samples. I’m even considering not dropping this review until I order more because you maniacs may buy it all up. I did the same with the yellow ranah, . I feel like I’m shilling but can you really shill if they give out free samples?
9:40- so the warmth disappeared which is a real bummer. But all the other effects picked up. Clears headed but Definitely feel it. Very good moodlift. I got a body feeling but it’s not that warm cozy feeling, feel good but I’d rather warmth. I feel alert but not fast, I don’t want to sleep but if the teacher said it’s nap time, I could sleep. This is another one that’s in a league of its own. I never had something like this. It reminds me of satkis white only not as relaxing or warm but more intense. Feels “stronger” by a bit but I wouldn’t say better.
11:10- ate breakfast and it’s the same as 9:40, just 20% less

The one good news about all this is I FINALLY got one of my friends, who suffers from a ton of pain, to start experiencing relief so each Friday I give her enough capsules of various sorts to last her the week. So at the very least I can feel like I'm not overbuying (because, otherwise, I really will outlive my stash).

I hate they dont do 1oz bags. There’s leaf I want from them but at .5g and rotation even 100g is 3 years worth. If I order 100g of the 3 I want that’s literally 10 years worth

if you were wanting to also try some of their other strains, they told me they can split a 100 or 250 into several smaller sample sizes, and to just put your desired split into the note section during checkout. they also said they'll usually include a good amount of samples on top of it.

Totoman, Ive got to say I'm extremely confused here...Ben himself said that this batch got caught up in shipping limbo for a few months and that it was pretty dry looking. I got my thb order in today and just can't figure out the "I've never had kratom so fresh" like of all things to say about it, looking extremely fresh is the last thing I'm thinking. Literally anything from denettes KA or SK supplier, Lucky's greens, rhinos e supplier, kogs recent batches, and well almost everything I've ever ordered from a new batch seems fresher than this. Just tried it about an hour ago and it seems okay so far but I will report back later with my final verdict. Doesn't seem to be old or look bad by any means, but really nothing that makes me think wow this is some very fresh leaf.

Folks have posted a LOT of posts about experiments with even very, very old stuff (purposefully left out in the sun, for example) and potency seems unaffected. Given that nearly all the stuff we get in hand here in the states is most likely at least six months old (or perhaps even years old) the fact that a leaf is "fresh" seems kind of a dumb thing to even desire.

But maybe that's just me - I've NEVER had a powder I would think of as "fresh", not from the dozens of small vendors and hundreds of strains I've bought. It's all very dry powder, that's all. (If it wasn't it would be REALLY difficult to make into capsules, as I do).

Wow you've never had a fresh batch of beautiful green kratom powder???! I'm talking about so fresh shit tastes like fresh cut grass and bananas and it isn't dry dust like consistency??? Totoman you have got to try a super fresh potent green man there really ain't nothing like it. And to the other person there, yeah kratom does still retain alks and work well after being stored...but there is nothing that beats a super fresh batch of fire, NOTHING. Theres just an added dimension and oomph to it that even after you store the same batch for say two months it never has again, definitely some extra good terpenes still in the leaf powder when it is still super fresh and has been processed to perfection. The look of a batch definitely doesn't tell all, but you can get a pretty decent idea of how old it actually is and how well it was processed/dried by just looking at it.

You might be right but I doubt it. I believe in science and numbers and the numbers don't show that.

However, there MAY be a placebo effect to be sure, particularly if you are taking the powder (as opposed to taking it as I do, in capsules). In that case the smell alone might cause you to believe. Placebo is a very valid effect and nothing to be ashamed about, but it's also something that (due to the science) is hard to quantize without blind tests.

Now if you believe in science then how could it not be possible that while plant matter is fresher and still is retaining more of it's natural terpenes that it couldn't have better alkaloid content? No matter what you may believe I will believe what I do. I've been using leaf for nearly 10 years now

finally got a chance to try this batch. ordered some samples and this was one of them. it's good, felt fast at first, but an hour and a half in it feels a lot slower, still has legs on it though. my sample only had 9 grams in it unfortunately so I can't get a second full run of it, but first impression is good, 8/10. it does seem fresh to me, very strong tasting even when mixed with juice, nice flour-y consistency.

I also got white santano, modern red md, green md, and super green md, all #61. anyone try any of these?

After 3 tries of this green ranah 61 I must conclude that it is relatively okay kratom not bad at all but not really great in any way for me. Can feel some very subtle somewhat nice effects but it is so mild and last for such a short period. For me this green ranah is a 6.5/10. There is nothing about this green ranah powder that makes me think the word "fresh" or "potent". Some people seem to really enjoy it, but for me personally this is pretty average grade kratom.

Agreed with Corde. This batch is very average kratom.
