I’ve recently started getting into yellow/golds. I tried Denettes Super Yellow and I’m very impressed. It stands right up there with TFH Samarinda and WCHG which are what I tend to judge all yellows by. Actually TFH is why I started getting into the yellows. D’s Super Yellow is outstanding. I’ve taken it 3 times and each time is as good as the first time. It’s euphoric, long lasting with decent pain control and very chill. Yesterday I just ordered my second quarter K of it.

Thanks for the review. I've got an upcoming order and will definitely look into this.. You liked the gold, what about the yellows? Last I looked he was carrying 3 now. And did you like/dislike in particular anything else that you got? I'm thinking about going with mostly greens since they seem to work best for me, and he has a few I still haven't tried. I still have red sula, red md, turtle horn, and a little green malay...finally ran out of the coveted Green Bone

I’m sorry Damen my mistake. It’s supposed to be Super Yellow not Gold. That’s the only Yellow of his that I’ve tried but when I reordered more I also got some Yellow Malay. Eric said they are similar in effects but come from different suppliers so no worries about tolerance issues. The Super Yellow is not sedating at all. But I took my last dose of it around 6pm and had no trouble sleeping. I think it’s a great “ any time of the day strain “ I use oblate bags to dose and I got a little powder on the outside of the bag which then got on my tongue. I had a little numb spot on my tongue for an hour lol. His Green Fire is also great. Energy without jitters and some nice mood lift. I envy you getting to try his bone strains. Did you get to try the Red Bone ? If so what’s it like ? What’s the Turtle like. I’m more impressed with Denettes leaf with every order

The red bone was great, definitely his best that I've tried. It was more of a daytime red, very euphoric, high mood lift, some slight energy and no sedation, and decent pain relief. It was even better than the green bone. I had two batches of the red, 17 and 27, and one was better than the other but both were still good. I wish I could describe it better because it was very good kratom, some of the best I've had, and perfectly balanced with an emphasis on euphoria.

The turtle horn is ok, he said it's full spectrum. My first burn with it was good but I've had trouble redialing in my dose. I keep blending with it...I suspect it might be best on its own. I need to try it a few more times to really get a feel for it

Green fire is already on my list, I want to try his red belungai too. And then one of those yellow and another green or two. Just waiting until payday!

I’ve tried his Red Belangui, Red Sulawesi, Red River, Red Milk and Red Maeng Da. I think the Maeng Da is my favorite of his reds. I can’t do very many greens without getting nervous/anxious so I’m trying to branch out and do yellows. I’m just building my yellow/gold collection so if you have any recommendations I’d appreciate it.

You can't hardly go wrong. Of the 9 I've had I'd say probably lean toward greens & reds, the whites were my least favorite, and they were still good, just not REALLY good like the greens & reds. Umm, obviously Green Dragon, Green Milk was pretty good too, and the Bone strains (any color, I've tried red/green/white and they are all above average) oh and 'Bali Strong' (or was it 'Strong Bali' ?) if he has it these days <- It's a red, in the top 3 reds I've ever had, and slightly better than the 'Red Bone' for me . Personally the 'Relaxer' strain didn't really seem any different (than any of his mellow greens or normal reds) to me, and it costs more, so honestly I'd havta say put that money on the regular menu and just get more. Couldn't say about yellow/gold or any *blends*, I'm a "purist" and haven't tried them ha-ha.

His white jk is very good! I had bought a sampler off another member in the trading post and was given an introduction to Denette615 with yellow Vietnam and that’s where the love affair started for me. I don’t think it’s on the current menu but if anyone has some for sale or trade it’s 100% worth it!! It’s kinda like super yellow, an anytime strain. More mood lift then energy for me.

White jong kong I usually use as a booster dose and dose pretty low. It gives great energy without being jittery. I have burned the gold MD off the current menu a couple times and it’s a great alternative to a red for pain issues imo.


I too have Turtle Horn and the couple burns I’ve tried (and I do not blend) have been ok, nothing spectacular. It feels mid and balanced but isn’t a stand-out for me. Red b33n is another great strain for pain and chill ness. Upstream was my least favorite of my order, it just didn’t give me anything the 3 times I burned it. Such is life.

Anyway, I recently placed another order for red b33n and white b33 which I hear is an excellent energetic feel good strain. For me personally Eric’s leaf has a different flare to it then any other vendors leaf. He’s a great guy, easy to get ahold of and communicate with. He doesn’t try to “sell” you on his leaf and I appreciate that a lot!! I think his yellows, golds, and reds are what shines right now.

Or rhino which is potent/euphoric. Crazy how they are all different,,, Whatever the vendor seems to like about the leaf comes out in their product...Ill take happy leaf all day over speed or potency

completely agree. you literally took the words right out of my mouth. there's just something different... something I really love. I need that 'ah, everything's gonna be ok' feel good feeling that Ds leaf seems to so wonderfully provide. happy leaf girl here too

thanks for the feedback guys. I know I'll likely be fine no matter what I choose. but that's one reason I enjoy open events like this. getting good feedback of others' thoughts. Ds yellow vietnam, red bone b32, grandpa green, and green super 3 are some of the best leaf I've had in the past two years. fingers crossed the new batches are just as good or better. excited to try the new yellows tooo I need to win big on those scratch offs that have been sitting in purse so I can just make it easy and buy them alll

I understand having a membership policy, but I would have figured that I would be granted access due to having been a customer in the past when he was a little less known on the forum. I find it disappointing. I have given him my trust and money in the past and was somehow punished because I didn't wait to start ordering from him when he decided to come up with this new rule. Full disclosure, I did only purchase a split kilo once but would have bought a second time, however the strain I wanted wasn't in stock. I'm not trying to bash him or anything but it is kind of a bummer to be left out like that.

He's having an -open- event right now, through 8pm Sunday, check the vendor forum area for info. And yeah, it's a bummer I guess. But just order ahead and you'll be sure not to run out.

I have only ordered from Denette during this current open event so have not attempted to become a member with this vendor, but I have been turned away before by other private vendors. Not rudely at all, actually they were very gracious to even follow up with my request and both times provided me with great information to obtain kratom from other vendors. My basic philosophy is, as long as product is great and the vendor does not treat me with a "you need me more than I need you" kind of attitude, I am an extremely loyal and repetitive customer. Not saying the people that are currently members for them are not the exact same way, but I can be a great customer. Really all I am saying is you have likely found tons of great options here on this forum alone, just like the rest of us, so try not to let it bother you.
