Liza's Botanicals 'Green Zombie' review.

Post by onespeedstop »

disclaimer - i recently won a split kilo in a number-guessing contest here on double M. i chose 2 greens and 2 whites, this is a review of the 'green zombie', batch #0225, ordered Monday 05-27, received Friday 05-31.

(i have tried it 3 times now, and amended my original notes a bit to reflect the 2nd and 3rd times.)

smells pretty good, a hair 'sharp', but it seems fresh enough. very finely ground, almost 'fluffy'.

seemed to come on a bit slow, but smoothly. kind of reminded me of TFH, in that it's just smooth, not too fast, a hair slow even, but smooth, like a 45* incline if you will. took maybe 20-30 mins to even notice it at all.

i didn't really feel any extra energy per se, but a little-to-medium amount of pain relief (lower back was a bit sore one time i had it) and a bit of extra 'afternoon clarity' in my file editing work (2 of the 3 times).

it had pretty good "legs". my 5-6 gram dose lasted over 3 hours, and was heading into a 4th before my back seemed to start to ache again. the 2nd and 3rd doses (on different days a week apart) lasted around 3 to 4 hours as well, so it seems consistent.

overall this is a really good mid-spec green to me, a hair slow/mellow, but it ramps up nice and lasts a while. maybe a bit closer to how we would describe a 'red' than a 'green', but if you like your greens a bit 'red', then this might very well be a top pick for you as the quality is there for sure. :)

----Just wanted to add that I have had this one several more times now (about once every week or so) and my initial review stands, it's a solid slower green, seems a hair weaker than I usually like 'a green' to be, but it's a very clean-green and has pretty good legs every time.

I’m gonna have to try this one. Have you tried Liza’s Red Zombie as well? It’s really good. Not too slow, seems mid spec as well. Very relaxing burn.

I did not as I am not super into reds and tend to use them less than whites or greens, but of the 2 (1 green and 1 white) of Liza's that I've tried recently, both seem to be of good+ quality, they ramp up a hair slow, but I'm to understand some folks prefer it that way, so it could be considered a feature as opposed to a bug ha-ha.

I’m not super into reds either, hence my username lol. But that red zombie feels like a mid spec green to me for sure. Worth a shot if you’re up for taking a chance on it. I really enjoy it personally and was pleasantly surprised. Definitely adding the green zombie to my shopping list.

I got around to trying this finally. It was okay. Fairly mellow burn. I kind of like the red zombie better tbh. The Super Green is definitely the standout in my recent order. Solid mid spec green. I'll probably post a separate review soon.

Well, I'm glad it was at least -alright-, and hey, maybe it'll get better as time goes along, ya never know. :) I'm always leery of anything labeled "Super", that's a lot to live up to, but sometimes they actually do eh. 8-)
