Kaiser Botanicals - vendor review

I found Kaiser Botanicals promoting on Reddit and here on Double M Herbal forum. Not much information about this vendor was online, but I the quality of what I'd been ordering from domestic (US) vendors has been lacking the past 6 months or so. I decided to take a gamble and I purchased 3 kilos from Kaiser Botanicals (“KB”).

I placed the order on their website and I was soon contacted to confirm the order and make payment. Payment was made via PayPal. The $60/kilo (as of 29-Feb-2020) includes fast shipping that is ultimately delivered by USPS.

KB provided daily updates on the shipping, when it cleared customs, when it would arrive, etc. Communication was excellent. I received the package in 7 days from ordering, all the way from Indonesia!

The kratom is very finely ground and the colors of each variety I ordered were distinct. My favorite strains are Kaiser Green and White Maeng Da.

The “aroma” is excellent – especially Kaiser Green and White Maeng Da. Effects are quite noticeable, while at the same time very “clean” feeling. It’s uplifting and energizing, and even has a fairly euphoric feeling. Even at a slightly higher dose than I typically take, I have zero nausea. It settles well on my stomach, even if I haven’t eaten anything recently. I also got the Kaiser Red, but I am still playing around with my dose on that one.

KB is a trustworthy vendor – Great communication, great prices, high quality, fast shipping, and great customer service. I would definitely purchase from KB again.

Dosing for me (and it’ll probably be different for everybody) is a bit on the heavier side – I’ve adjusted over the past week and I have settled at 8.5 grams. For reference, I’ve typically taken 5-6 grams per dose in the past (from vendors such as Mystic Island, Botanical Bunny, SOSA, Motark, and a few others).


Also, FYI, I am posting this same review (slightly modified) to a few other places online (Reddit, TrustPilot, etc.) - If you see it online more than once, I promise I'm not a bot or a shill. I'm just an honest kratom user from Charlotte, NC.

Sounds like Mystic Island's quality has improved and SOSA, Botanical Bunny and Motark are pretty much known for quality batches...it sounds like sometimes it's safe to just stay stateside...lesson learned?

No, that's not actually what I meant at all. This is probably the best batch of kratom I've had in a year. It's also the cheapest I've purchased, possibly ever. I would say it's on par with or better than what I've received from vendors who are well-known for quality

My kratom dose is higher than most people's. I don't know what it is with me, but I'm not one of the lucky ones that can notice anything in the 1-5 gram range. I have experimented quite a bit over the past four years, moving up and down in dose, all the way up to 12 and back down a bit. I have never been an opiate user, and my kratom use hasn't increased over the years. And I've been taking quality kratom, too - only from well-regarded online vendors. Eh...maybe I'm just weird!

Anyway, the experience I'm having from KB' kratom is a nice and warm, clean feeling. It's the "clean" part that's been the most impressive - no mind-fogginess, no nausea, and no drowsiness. Just uplifting and relaxing.

I removed the dosing information from my review, since it's different for everyone and could be misleading.

That's the main reason I went outside of my normal comfort zone with my usual vendors. Both my wife and I (she uses a smaller dose of the same kratom I use) noticed that it seemed we were getting "bad" (or "ineffective") batches of kratom. We could even identify certain batch numbers (from will-known vendors) that did seemingly nothing, while other batch numbers were OK. But even with the "good" batches lately, we were still missing that "clean" feeling - unaccompanied by nausea or drowsiness, and still able to focus, if not focus better.

So I went on a hunt, scouring forums, and I didn't find really anything other than the typical vendors. So, I figured it was times to take a gamble and try a vendor from Southeast Asia. Kaiser provided a familiar web ordering experience, a certain level of professionalism, accepted an easy payment method, and they seemed to really care about their reputation. Even still, I honestly didn't expect the experience to be nearly as smooth as it actually was.

Also, side note - has anyone else noticed that there are a number of US kratom vendors located in Wilmington, NC? Maybe too many to believe? I mean...SOSA, Botanical Bunny, Canopy, and Mystic Island are all located in Wilmington, and there are a few more located there too. I didn't notice this until I started shopping around. There's nothing wrong with Wilmington, and there's certainly nothing wrong with NC (I live in Charlotte). But I think you have to admit that is an odd occurrence. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but a possible explanation is one importer with multiple online retail outlets. It could be a complete coincidence, but it seems shady. This realization that I might actually be ordering from the same source on multiple websites was also part of the reason I decided to look outside the box.

The length of effectiveness is about typical from what I'd come to expect from good quality kratom - 2-3 hours, after about 45 minutes to kick in.

Nah, big difference in SOSA and mystic island...just check the reviews here...Botanical Bunny and SOSA still source fire batches, when I tried SOSA for the first time I was able to drop my dose as well...I'm a high doser too....

I'm sorry, I must have my vendors mixed up. I know the other three I mentioned are from Wilmington for sure - I just double-checked. There is one more fairly well-known vendor - I can't recall which one.

OK, Hoooold on a minute, this "review" here is -- first, dude is NOT a "vendor". He's an Indonesia Supplier, and there's 100+ of these guys crawling around Facebook... good luck. Vendor is a word we use for U.S. online sellers, located in the good ole' USA - to limit confusion, we use the word SUPPLIER - for those many hustlers operating from Pontianiak, West Kalimantan, Borneo.

Never send money to a Indo hustler from Reddit / Facebook, with NO website !! NO other Social Media? NO references ?? ( then Scott changes the subject ).. BB located in NC ? Huh? Ever bought anything from BB? What ?? Oh... back to this Indonesian, sure throw out names of 5 USA vendors, like they're all just vendors right, same thing? NO! Not the same thing! Here I am! Geez...tough crowd here. Yes, Kaiser is based in Indonesia. Let me explain myself. I don't want you guys thinking I'm some ghost writer.

I started using kratom about 4 years ago, after a rough bout with alcoholism. I first purchased from Happy Hippo - good stuff, but damn it was expensive. Kratom made life without any alcohol a lot easier for me. I found myself no longer craving and obsessing over alcohol, no longer planning my day around when I could sneak a drink. I'm in the medical software business - is a stressful job, requires a lot of travel, mainly by plane. So I had a lot of free time to myself to "misbehave" while I was away. Kratom, I swear, has been the saving Grace in my life.

I started my hunt for good vendors after realizing that kratom just plain helped me get through life better. Trying to save some money (Happy
Hippo was/is still much more expensive), I found Motark and ordered from them, until they temporarily went out of business. I found SoCal and eventually Mystic Island (which honestly for me, has always been pretty consistently good).

A few "meh" batches from Mystic got me hunting again, though. I ordered 2 kilos of various strains from Botanical Bunny - honestly, it didn't do much for me. I hear great things, though, so maybe I owe BB another try. The batches I got were hit or miss - some days I wondered why I was even taking it since it didn't seem to do anything for me.

When Motark was open for business again, I immediately ordered a look from them. But the kratom was not as I remembered it. So, I continued and checked out SOSA, ordered 2 kilos twice from them - great people, and the kratom was pretty good the first time. The second batch I had ordered was just OK - some of the strains were good and others were just ineffective for me. So I was still hunting. I ordered from Canopy Botanicals once, just a single 250g bag - it was OK, but didn't give me a reason to stop hunting there or buy more from them.

Still on the hunt, I saw Kaiser on several forums, and just decided "what the hell?" It was $180 for 3 kilos. And I was willing to lose that money - it was a gamble for me, because I hadn't seen any "real" reviews for their kratom. But it turned out to be a good gamble! Friendly service, fast shipping, cheap prices, and fresh, good kratom. I just wanted to share my experience with others who might be in the same boat as me. That's my only motivation here.

So there is my story. I'm enjoying as nice relaxing Kaiser Red right now. I just identified my right dose of this one - ~3g. I was overdoing it at first. I have noticed with kratom, sometimes less actually is more.

Anyway, I am a real person, I promise. I hope this past clears up any confusion about my motivation here. I have lurked here for a long time, just finally decided to post something.

PS: Oh, and back to the whole Wilmington, NC thing - so over the course of a few years buying from these various vendors mentioned above, I noticed that whether I purchased from Mystic Island, SOSA, or Canopy Botanicals (asked I swear there was one more I'm forgetting about), the shipments came from Wilmington, NC. I mean, there are what, maybe 10 vendors that regularly get talked about on forums, and three of them are located in a Coastal NC City of around 150K people? Seems fishy to me - I don't really know, though. It could be coincidence I suppose. But that's a really weird coincidence of so.

Anyways I ordered 3 Kilos(Red MD, PMD, and his Nano Keta P) the Kratom was of good quality and produced nice effects. The customer service was even better, we all know there’s a lot of scammer in this industry. The owner stayed engaged the entire time, kept me completely comfortable so I knew he didn’t just run off with my money. I received daily updates all the way up to the package reaching my door. He even followed up the next day to make sure I was satisfied with my order. I definitely recommend and will be a repeat customer.

The last review, the user registered here in March. I know what you mean, but it isn't always like that. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt when I can. Sometimes it's just a result of new vendors that are exchanging kratom and asking customers to leave a review. There's always been a lot of that. I've jumped to conclusions before and ended up being totally wrong. That said, I have no experience with this vendor
