Botanical Bunny Red Banjar (lot 14 - batch 2008)

First BB sampled for me was a miss (see my red nano review.) This Red Banjar though. Hit and a home run! I'm dubbing this one "Banjar Bliss" because that's exactly what it was. Bliss.

Dosed 3 grams. Additional 1 gram dosed at one hour in.

This one hit strong and hard only 15 minutes in. I felt like my face was glowing. Warm, fuzzy, comfortable sedation. Very nice mood lift with waves of euphoria throughout. I have also been treating a belly button infection (yes, gross) and yesterday it was extremely painful. This Banjar melted away that pain completely and I didn't notice it at all. I'd say it has some great pain relieving qualities. I had to call my great grandmother to wish her a happy birthday and I usually dread calling people on the phone. I feel awkward and anxious and overall just hate phone calls. Not this time! I was actually feeling good about talking on the phone and we had a nice conversation that lasted 40 minutes that I actually participated in as opposed to my usual of just responding "yeah" to everything and letting the other person hold the conversation.

Overall I was very satisfied with this batch. It hit the mark for everything I look for in kratom. Dosed at 7pm and lasted until at least when I fell asleep around 10:30pm. I did notice it tapering off around 9 or 10 but I usually eat an hour or two after dosing which brings me back down a bit.
