We know that TFH has a huge chorus of followers here, and there can be somewhat of an "echo effect" as a result, so I sometimes shy away from posting reviews of their offerings. But it seems nuts not to say some positive things about a vendor that does such a consistently amazing job.
As a side note, I am a relatively low doser (around 1.4 - 2g, sometimes with a .5 "booster" around an hour after my initial dose), and typically use 2-3x per day. Even though I dose pretty conservatively I could probably use a tolerance break right about now.
I've tried everything I'm writing about here at least 3-4 times. So, here goes:
Green Dayak (v2) - this is my absolute favorite of the new TFH greens; I love it. It came on fast (around 25 minutes; for me that's fast), is super-potent, upper mid-spec, and good for pain, with long legs (around 4.5-5 hours for me). Plenty of moodlift and a little bit of warmth too, the kind of feeling that sneaks up on me and by the time I notice it, it's like "oh man, I guess I've felt really good for a while now". Great in the morning or afternoon. For me it's like an "all in one" variety (I guess that's "full spectrum")?, and I had to make myself stay away from it so that I didn't burn out on it. 10/10
Traditional Green Hulu- This was somewhat similar to the Gr. Dayak for me, but a bit more subtle and not as complex. It came on steadily over 45 minutes or so and peaked at about 90 minutes. Upper mid-spec, really solid energy that lasted for at least 4 hours each time I've tried it with a nice bright feel to it. It's a great morning strain for me. 9/10
Wild Green Vietnam- I liked this strain, but for me it was the least potent of the latest greens I've tried. I'd read one review here that made it sound quite fast, but I found it to be squarely mid-spec, with some anxiolytic qualities. Overall, it stayed pleasantly in the background, which I don't mind at all as long as I know what I'm expecting. 8/10
Old Fashioned White River Harvest - I've only tried this 2x (basically because I've misplaced the bag), once on its own and once blended with a strong, energetic green (TFH Jungle Green Hulu). On its own, it was somewhat of a slower white for me, and hit me a bit like Blast Off Bali does, maybe a little less potent....not really zippy, but with nice moodlift and a little energy. As a blend, it seemed to take somewhat of a backseat to the Hulu, but it was definitely a notable burn. I definitely need to try it a couple of more times to really get a read on it, but I'm looking forward to checking it out again. 8/10
Red Ryder Riau - Other than some "daytime reds", I'm not such a big reds person - I'm not really looking for sedation from kratom, and even at somewhat higher doses, I just don't get much from many reds that I've tried. Additionally, I seem to get at least some moderate pain relief from virtually any good quality kratom, no matter what the color. But oh, man; I love this red like no other. It was the first time that I really understood the term "warm blanket". The first two times I tried it were in the evening, and both times it hit just beautifully.....I felt it in my spine, my head, and the moodlift was just tremendous, with solid pain relief as well. It came on pretty fast for me and started to fade after around 3 hours, but boy, it was a great 3 hours!
Sapphire Sunda - for me, this is a red that came on like a white, especially when I dosed it quite low (around 1.4g). Very good energy, potent, hit hard; basically fire leaf for me. The "fast" feeling of it was more notable than any kind of moodlift qualities, and I'd love to mix with a somewhat slower green; it was almost a little too intense for me Long legs, too.....kept me going for around 4.5 hours. 9/10.
As always Chris and Angie's customer service - on every level - was both impeccable as well as warm and friendly. Thanks as always, TFH!
