Fused Flora New Batches Review
Got a few new varieties from Shaun in for review! I received the Green Bali, Wild Green Kapuas, Wild Red Kapuas, and Green Vietnam. I will update the thread as I try more, but for now, lets get started.
Wild Green Kapuas-
Speed-Mid-fast. This one gave a bit of an energy kick, but nothing too crazy. It was a smooth energy with no crash. A nice afternoon pick me up type of speed!
Pain-8.5/10. This for me is where this one shined. My arthritic shoulder is constantly causing me issues and this took care of it no problem.
Moodlift-7/10. This one is uplifting, but not overwhelming. I would say slightly above average. For me, this was the downfall of this one compared to others from him. However, I know a lot of you aren't as concerned with this category, so you may have a different experience here. I'm not saying it was bad here by any means, but not as intense as I personally look for.
Anxiety Relief-7.5/10. It helped considerably with my anxiety at work, and for a slightly faster green, I was happy with this. I didn't have any issues while on this, and even faced a couple of stressful situations at work during my 2 trials of this.
Legs-8/10. This one actually lasted a good while, and I would say this is another big strength of this batch. I got a good 3 hours of pain relief from it, and the anxiety relief lasted around 2.5 hours on both tries with it. If you're like me and struggle with duration, this is a good option. I still need to try blending it with a red as well.
Overall-7.5/10. I would consider this one pretty much medicinal. It offers phenomenal pain relief and helps a ton with anxiety, but struggled with the moodlift. Its long lasting effects provided great relief for me both tries, and I was quite satisfied with it! If you're going for a moodlift, read on to my next review. Thats where you want to go. If you are in need of long lasting pain relief and some help with anxiety, I would highly recommend this batch.
Green Bali-
Speed-Mid-slow. This one didn't have much of an energy to it, but wasn't exactly sedating either. Almost felt like a green/red blend.
Pain-7.5/10. Good, but not stellar. It helped considerably but didn't quite get it down to nothing. I would recommend blending with a red if needing intense relief, but should be enough to take care of most aches and pains of the daily abuse we put out bodies through.
Moodlift-8.5/10. This impressed me the most about this batch. It gave me the warm blanket red feeling and kept me smiling the whole time. It just seemed to make me care less about issues around me and helped me sort of clear my head and get things done. It was a very clean and clear feeling. Almost a bit of an uplifting focus you could say. Both tries with this were consistent. I've been struggling with some things in my personal life, and my time on this batch really did make me feel significantly better than I was before taking it. All I can say is, top notch.
Anxiety Relief-8/10. Another great category for this one. Usually the mid-slow greens are best for anxiety for me during the day, and this was no exception. As I mentioned, its a calm and clear feeling and that clear headedness really kept my anxiety down. I'm notorious for overthinking and getting myself worked up, and this did not happen while on this one. Very happy with this!
Legs-7/10-8/10. I'm conflicted here. It sort of came in waves both times I tried it, but the downtime between waves did not last long. The moodlift was around an hour and 45 minutes, anxiety relief was around 2.5 hours, and the pain relief was around 2.5 hours as well. I would feel amazing and then it felt like it was tapering off a bit, and then it went right back up. This happened twice during the first session, and once during the second session. I've had this a few times before, but I just find it so strange. The full duration time was definitely an 8/10, but the waves make me feel as if I can't quite rate it that high. This might just be something weird with my body, so try for yourself, I would actually love to hear if others had this experience. Either way, the duration was satisfactory!
Overall-8.25/10. I really enjoyed both sessions I've had with this batch. Its incredibly uplifting and clean feeling and it cleared my head enough to not overthink think things and be productive. The pain relief was satisfactory, but may not be enough for some of you that suffer from severe pain. This would easily make my rotation for days that I am down and need to feel better. A great work strain, especially with just a dash of caffeine to give it some speed. If you need pain relief, I would probably recommend blending it with a red, but the moodlift and help with anxiety are wonderful!
EDIT: Adding Wild Red Kapuas to the list!
Speed-slow. Definitely a night time variety, but not quite overly sedating like some reds. It is a bright green, non fermented red (the best kind!)
Pain-8/10. Hits the benchmark for me on pain relief, as I would expect from a red.
Moodlift-7.5/10. This one kept me stable and feeling good, but wasn't an overwhelming feeling. This is more mild in its moodlift, but that doesn't make it bad. For me, I would use this in a time where I don't need a lot, but I need something to just lift me up a little bit out of a hole. I have tried it twice now and both times were consistent.
Anxiety Relief-8/10. This is stronger for anxiety than the moodlift. As you would expect from a red, it is calming and helps a lot with anxiety. Both times I have tried this were consistent, it knocked out any anxious jittery feelings I would have. I typically struggle with this at nighttime as life circumstances have been crazy to deal with, and this one pulled through for me both tries.
Legs-7/10. This one lasted a little over an hour and a half for peak effects, and carried on a few hours longer with a smooth comedown. Not the longest lasting, but still nice relief and a smooth ride on the way back down to baseline.
Overall-7.5/10. This one is solid, but not the most potent red that I have had. I think it is great for when you just want to calm down and unwind, but not be overwhelmed with sensations. A light feeling that helps you melt down after a long day and relax. Keep this one for late in the day as it is definitely slower than you would want for productivity, but if you're using a red, you probably aren't expecting to get a lot done. This one will leave you in a good mood and calm down the anxiety of a long high-strung day. Anxiety relief is its shining point, as well as pain. One of the more therapeutic reds I have had recently. I need to try blending with it as I think this would make a great base for building on depending on the flavor you're looking for.
Please keep in mind my rating scale is as follows (I probably rate differently than many others so I figured I should clarify)
5-Average
6-slightly above average
7-Top shelf small batch type of leaf. Leaps and bounds above average big box vendor leaf. Good enough to be adding to your rotation (most of our vendors here will make this category for me, as we have awesome leaf floating around).
8-Gold standard for top shelf. If I give an 8, it means you should probably be looking into buying it.
9-S tier top 5% type of batch. This is an instant buy without question and stock up while its available.
10-Doesn't exist. lol
More to come as I dive into the others a little bit deeper!

Re: Fused Flora New Batches Review
Nice reviews! Off the top of my head, I would enthusiastically recommend WRK, SGB, Bent Sunda, G Bali, PMD, Bent Kap, R Tak, W Kap and Yellow Kap. I’ve had great results with almost every Fused Flora Kapuas strain I’ve tried in the last year, as well as the SGBs.
Oh and the current hirsuta and javanica! Both are strong, mid-fast, feel-good alternatives to regular leaf.
(edit: forgot W Kap!)
