I still haven’t finished but I figure nows a great time to mention a few favorites.Super Red Kali (Batch 101520): When I ordered this I hadn’t found any effective reds yet and was generally more a green kinda gal. Saw a review of this strain and gave it a shot...NOW I understand! It was like my brain decided to take a soak in a hot tub. I was still alert and active, but I was just so relaxed. I dosed late afternoon and that was perfect. I once mistakenly took this at work instead of my usual faster strain, and the only downside was that I was more irritable (I work in a fast paced environment that requires a ton of patience). This isn’t great for me if I’m already anxious or agitated about something, although it can help if I think I may have a stressful day and dose prior to it. Overall though, it’s just best for just washing the day away.
Super Maeng Da (Batch 4121): OMNOMNOMNOM this is SO good. This was actually sent as a free sample in my order and I’m SO glad it was! I IMMEDIATELY ordered more and it’s now my #1 go-to. It gives me the perfect amount of energy and motivation for the day, whether at home or work. Even when that initial energy burst fades, my usual chronic fatigue is gone the entire day. It’s not super euphoric, but gives a strong, noticeable, sustainable mood boost that lasts for hours. I’m still learning how to get the most reliable results from every dose of kratom I take, but this strain makes it so easy. It’s rock steady and I’m absolutely in love with it.
Hirsuta/Stem and Vein: I gotta give this combo a mention. I’m still playing around with them, both together and separately, so if anyone has tips considering one or both, I’d appreciate it. This makes tolerance breaks so easy. I’d read people say they make good potentiates as well but I prefer using them on my off days. To me the combo mostly feels like a slower green (I generally prepare my dose 3 to 1, hirsuta to stem and vein. Sometimes 50/50). From what I understand, hirsuta is a bit faster and usually requires a bit larger dose than you would normally take of kratom. Anyone more knowledgeable, please chime in!
I haven’t sampled enough of the other strains I got to form a solid opinion yet, but I’ll add them here as I go through. The candy and hand signed invoice in the box is such a beautiful touch! Benni’s absolutely lives up to its great reputation!
