Tried out lonestar for the first time today, and ww! I was calm, clear-headed, and motivated for the afternoon. I lifted weights about three hours after I took it and got a nice kick afterward (happens sometimes, I have noticed, usually with quality kratom). Can't wait to try more!

It’s a very powerful batch gotta be careful not to take to much cause you will wobble, get the dose just right and it’s heaven, it is whatever you want it to be, at lower doses it’s energetic yet relaxing somehow and at high doses it’ll knock you in the dirt, dynamic stuff

Thank goodness for the scale. It amazes me how different kratom can weigh and I am glad I measured it cause it was but heavier than other powder.

Do all of you order from this forum exclusively?

And order huge 1/5kilo - 1kilo amounts at a time?

I've taken Kratom for the past 6+ years every single day and I order on average a few hundred dollars a month of high-quality kratom that I get from the same place the past 6+ years, and order usually 10-15oz at a time, nowhere NEAR even 1/4kilo

I take 4-5g a day, 4-6 times a day

But on this forum I feel like everyone knows all this lingo and posts about kratom with these weird codes at the end

If anyone could fill me in on this and how the forum "operates" based on your experience that would be helpful!

I don't know if this is where to ask this, but this is where all these posts and kratom codes and names and also vendors who have secret groups or like they only open certain times of the month(?) this is where it happens and I honestly can't really figure it all out

It's funny; I've never thought of being on MM as being a place to order through per se. I came here originally (1.5 years ago) because most of the kratom info online (including Reddit) was unreliable/repetitive/biased/etc, and when I found MM I was like, "hmmmmm....smart, interesting people with a lot of experience." I liked all the different personalities that came through in the writing, too. It really did feel like a community, and I asked a lot of questions, got some good answers, and started some conversations too. I also really liked the attitude of the moderators; keeping an eye on things, but with a very light touch. It was just fun, too. I'm 60 y/o and not on any social media and this had some nice elements of that rolled into it without having to make a major commitment.

So I hung around and found out who the good vendors at the time were and kept experimenting. I'm amazed at what I've learned in the relatively short time I've been here. I used to write a lot more reviews, but I'm not ordering so much these days; I have way too much kratom for a NYC apartment

Over the past year or so, yes; there has definitely become somewhat of a shift towards more vendors going private, the presence of FB and MeWe, etc. I still do just fine without that stuff and usually find a way to get through to vendors I want to try. Getting to know some of them a little bit has been a pleasure as well; some great people. It was gradual, and I look forward to making contact with more.

I do find that when I see new folks posting here these days, there sometimes (but certainly not always) seems to be an emphasis on how to buy, how to use the Trading Post, etc from the minute they land. That is not a criticism at all, but I think that there's a lot of really fun/cool/helpful info here outside of just who the "hot" vendors are at the moment and how to order. And I think that being a little patient with the process helps, but I'm a psychologist and feel that way about nearly everything!

Btw, I didn't go near the Trading Post for over a year, I actually found it really intimidating! I use it a little bit now; it's great. I love some of the samplers when they show up: I get to try a lot of things and don't wind up with tons of extra. But usually I like to support the vendors and take my chances with them.

To answer one of your questions, I don't buy huge amounts....usually just 100-125g bags cuz I'm a low doser, but burn out quickly if I overuse a batch. I feel like my body has a very long memory for what it has tried before, so I rotate a ton (both vendors and batches) and try to keep it fresh. I'll basically never work my way through a quarter kilo of anything and get good results, or don't think so. There are a few batches that have held up amazingly well for me over time, though. I also give a fair amount of kratom away to friends.

The "weird codes" you mention are just batch numbers, if I understand correctly what you're referring to. They're worth paying attention to, because every batch is different even if it has the same "strain" name. Keep reading and asking and it will all feel less weird. I do still occasionally buy from some larger kratom vendors (though not super-large) like Botanical Bunny and Smiley. It's not all small vendor and private for me, though TFH is still my #1. Keep an eye out for their open events and raffle opportunities. But I've had great experiences with LoneStar, Lucky's, and Rhino; all great business people and super-nice guys too, and recently was able to finally try Denette and HeavenLeaf from the Trading Post. At any rate, I've really gone long here- continued good luck with your kratom journey and use MM well!

I experienced the same exact thing, Supersonic. Reddit has so much BS to parse. This site, in all of its 1999 programming glory, presented so interesting to me. Ballz being a bit caustic but realizing he is an important part of the recipe, Brave getting nonsense shut down every 3rd post, Jestrice2002 having a baby and learning about Ybanurse's medical job at all hours of the night. All of these people and more peppered throughout the States and further (I think) joining online and being genuine (whatever that may be) to each other. I remember the internet being more like this in the old days.

I am such a low doser that the Trading Post id all I need. It is because I love Chris from LSMS and his business ethics that I buy from a vendor. TFH open events and D615 too. My needs/wants could not be more centralized!

I was intimidated with the TP as well. It is old news for me now. I have yet to post anything yet but plan on it very soon.

This ogpmd was definitely a standout. Smooth burns and long legs. This is perfect on its own but amazing when you mix another heavy green or red. I loved this so much that I ordered more before it was gone. Definitely in my top ten list but I’ve had such amazing stuff come in that now I have a top 20 list. Good job Chris.

Have you tried his og pmd1 & 2? Just wondering how it compares to them. I've had both and both are great, but og pmd1 is hard to beat. Im down to just a few doses left of it and only use it on rare occasions.
