I placed an order with the Indonesian vendor Maluku Kratom. The payment was made Tuesday morning and I got payment confirmation before noon. Now it is early Thursday and I just got an update with the tracking number and a picture of the label on the outside of the box. Customer service has been great and usually very quick reply emails. I ordered a variety of greens whites and gold. I’ll keep you all updated on how it goes.

Interested to hear your opinion on these strains you got from Maluku, any word on delivery date from tracking? Thanks

I expect tomorrow or Wednesday. Tracking says it is moving within the usps network on its way to destination. I will write a comprehensive review with all the info and dates and stuff when I can.

July 13: I placed an order with Maluku for 4kg of kratom using their summer discount code for buying 2kg and getting 2kg free. The types I ordered were:

Kilo 1: Full Kilo Green Maluku
Kilo 2: Full Kilo White Maluku
Kilo 3: Gold Maluku/Green Maluku split
Kilo 4: White Bali/Green Borneo split

July 16: I had the proper invoice (the first time it looked strange to me due to the discount code, so I asked for a more clear invoice before I submitted payment). I submitted payment ($35 per kilo x 2kg, 2 free kg, plus $103.87 shipping. Works out to $43.46 per kilo).

July 18: I received an emailed picture of the package with my shipping address on it.
July 19: Package was accepted by Indo post office.
July 25: Package arrived in USA.
July 26: Processed through US customs and turned over to USPS.
July 31: Arrived on my doorstep. I had to sign for it.

Total time from payment to delivery: 15 days.

The package looked like the standard package you may have seen being smuggled on COPS. There was no clear way to open it. I had to very gently open with a pair of scissors. I clipped part of one bag and had to tape it back a little bit. In the packing slip, there was all kinds of documentation, some of it was in Indonesian. There was even an MSDS sheet.

If I can say anything about Maluku at this point, they are as professional as you can get, they reply quickly, and any time there was a shipping update, the worker I dealt with personally sent me an email. I don’t know if their customer service can be beaten.

The powder was sealed in loosely vacuum sealed type bags with black marker listings on one side. The bags are not re-sealable. I weighed the package before opening, and then I weighed each unopened package of Speciosa.

I had my first serving a couple hours ago. I had the Green Maluku. I typically have 4g three to four times a day. This was my second serving of the day, and I put it off a little longer than usual because I wanted to be free of the prior serving. Instead of 4g, I made 3.5g into a tea like I normally do. (put powder in coffee mug with 1tsp ACV, pour boiling water and stir, cover and drink in 20 minutes) The effects came on in about 30 minutes, as is standard for me. I found the energy lift to be about 8/10, but I've been sitting at a computer the whole time, so maybe I didn't give it the opportunity it needed. I'm not sure if I've ever had more of a mood lift from a 3.5g serving. I can't really attest to the pain relief aspect because I had a procedure done on my back that finished literally 20 minutes before I drank the tea, so I'm a little swollen, a little numb, and a little in pain. I will try this green again tomorrow and try to give a more comprehensive review. This evening, I plan on having a serving of the Gold Maluku after I get home from an outdoor church event. I should have some comments on that either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Yeah, I thought about that, but for under $45/kg shipped across the pacific, I ain’t mad at them.

How is it short? you ordered 4kg right? Full shipment: 4.1498kg .. how much paper weights? seems like they went over 4kg. was just wondering how they are short?

The individual bags look like they will be short by a few grams. I will weigh a bag and get a better idea when I can find some more suitable containers for storage. Like I said, all things considered, I don’t think it’s enough to be upset about.

I feel like I left this thread a little unfinished. The only choice I ordered that I haven’t tried yet is the White Bali. The White Maluku was a little heavy. Not quite what I expected. I would call it a little heady and on the slow side. Aside from those two whites, the Greens and Gold that I ordered are easily among the best that I’ve had. They each have the energy and mood lift that we crave, and they do a great job with pain relief too. The Gold Maluku is awesome for the evening, it gave me some premium effects like the Gold MD and Gold Borneo that MtraMan had a few months ago.

I can’t say enough good things about Maluku, from customer service, price after shipping, to the quality of their leaf.

My experience has been very similar. It took 13 days from money being sent to package being delivered to my front door. I got mostly reds and a couple greens, and have tried 4 of the 6 so far with great results. I would strongly recommend Maluku to anyone. Hell, I'm tempted to buy 10 or 20 kilos just to stock up. Can't beat the prices...

I have also only best experince with Maluku. I must say, that they customer service (Ayu) is the best I have ever seen from indo suppliers. I have tried 3 strains - White Maluku, Green Maluku and Green Malay. My favourite was White Maluku, but other two strains were also very potent.

Now I'm waiting for the 8 kg shipment with the summer promo sale (4kg+4kg free).
