My Texas Family Harvest review

I got to sample some from Texas family Harvest so I thought I would give you all my lowly impressions.
1st.... Wild Yellow T F H - M16. I will start by saying I had never really used a yellow before. I usually stay mainly to Reds for my fibro and arthritis to get relief, I use greens with them during the day. SO, I tried the yellow. O...M....G!!!!!! This stuff was AWESOME!!!!! Now I do not know all the lingo so I will just tell you in my own words what was so great. 1st I used about 1/4 of the amount of their product then I do of most other vendors for my dose and it was enough. 2nd, their product comes on FAST, no matter what type I am taking. 3rd this Kratom was SO nice and relaxing. It is the PERFECT bedtime Kratom for me. Made me tired, which reds do not do for me. Helped me fall asleep. I had just been thinking about talking to my Doctor about going back on sleeping pills that I had weaned myself off of 8 months ago because I have not been sleeping well but NOW I will not have to! Great pain relief too. I like it so much when they had open order for Thanksgiving weekend I made sure I ordered this!!!
2nd ... Wild green Sumpur - M 5. This is a really nice green. Nice smooth green energy that comes on fast but does not make you hyper at all. No anxious jittery feeling at all. Just that hey, I feel like I can get up and do that laundry now feeling. Like I said, I mix mine with reds because of my pain. I could tell it definitely has a mood lifter to it. I felt like having music on and felt , well just happier.
3rd 30 year Wild TFH ( red ) I R 14 . This is a really really nice red. Fast acting and great pain relief. Again about 1/4 of my normal dose. My muscles even felt looser with this one like the tension was released from them. I liked it a lot and will probably order it if I ever get a chance to order from them again.
4th 30 year Wild White TFH - A 14 IR. WOWZER, put on your energy shoes for this one!!!! If you have a day when you are like I either need 3 cuts of coffee or something to get me through then this is the one for you!!!! I am not used to whites and I have to mix them with greens or else I get sick at my stomach but wholy moly this one packs a punch! Not jittery but my GOD you will be like a bee bee in a tin box!!!! In other words LOTS OF ENERGY!!!!

You started with with "Wild Yellow TFH M16" I got it as a sample and decided to see what the hype is about. Took 6g around 10 am. It had more then usual green clumps like sludge like then any other kratom from any vendor did. I noticed all greens have some sort green clumps at bottom of cup these days, that is normal and i am used to it. I figured it might be extra strong, right now its 11:58 PM and here is what i think about it.

10 AM, 6g dose, after 30 min i started having an extreme head pain almost like migraine which i have experienced 2-3 times before. I realized i should of took 3 grams and i just over did it. I knew people were rating it high and it should of been 100% half what i usually take. I ran out of ginger tea, and went to watch youtube videos, was so uncomfortable and annoying to watch them i decided to take a nap to make the time pass. woke up around 4pm and still had that annoying feeling, i realized i might need some food because i barley eat something before sleep. But any food made me feel like i dont want it and if i take anything to consume, i will puke. I still forced my self, and next thing i know, i am in front of toilet, trying to push everything i drink and eat out of my self, i didn't even had to put two fingers in. Well i went back again and made sure everything was gone from my system, was around 6 pm when i decided to sleep it off some more. Its past 12 AM right now, i am awake , no head pain, I feel 100% normal. But i can still feel the buz from it, so i am going to give kratom a nice break before i do another one.

Lessons learned? Well if someone rates to high of it, make sure to cut your dose half when doing it for the first time. Or eat plenty of food, drink some ginger and your regular dose will be fine most likely but i didn't do any of those. I told my self i ll take 6g and see if this is actually strong if i experience what I did. So i knew what i was going in into. A message to all, if you get this "Wild Yellow TFH M16" make sure you dose 50% less, and add-on from there if have too. I ll have to try 3g later.

I did try "Super Green Supreme A1" and it was excellent. 6g. Very enjoyable! Also tried "30 yo wild green -IR3" 6g. These two green are for sure above average. Great experience. 8/10

WONDERFUL REVIEWS! I've tried them all and you're totally on the money with your
assessments! THE WILD YELLOW TFH is amazing...glad I snagged a half kilo of that one.
I didn't grab the 30 YEAR WILD WHITE, but you nailed it! I tested that one a week or so
ago and it's was one of the better Whites I've had! I don't usually have much success with
Whites, but the 30 Year Wild was off the chain and was connoisseur quality! I'm more
into the pain relieving properties of the leaf and it's the only reason I passed on it this time
around, although, it wasn't devoid of pain relief, it just wasn't quite as potent in that regard
when compared to the Wild Yellow, Chocolate Bent and the Wild Red Elephant Hulu!

Another AWESOME strain for me was the RED ELEPHANT HULU. That was part of my split with
Chocolate Bent and the Wild Yellow! Following is my assessment when I tested the Red Elephant
Hulu a few weeks back:

Excellent mood boost/euphoria and the pain relief was outstanding! It's my opinion that this
is a top notch anti-anxiety strain. I found the Red Elephant Hulu to remarkably potent and
one of the better reds I've had these past few months. It's right up there with the Wild Red
Sumpur, 30 Year Wild Red and 30 Year Wild Red Hangat! It had the euphoric somewhat breath
taking quality and tongue numbing effect one finds in top shelf leaf! The Red Elephant Hulu is
without a doubt connoisseur quality! When this one comes available, I'll definitely be placing an
order! OUTSTANDING!

....and doing business with Chris is easy peasy! I've exchanged a number of emails with him
and his customer service skills are superb.....TFH is simply one OUTSTANDING vendor! A++++
all around!

I didn't really like wild yellow TFH
White md am1 was an awesome slow white
Green md am1 was really really nice starts fast ends warm
Green sumpur was a very strong fast leaning green
Red sumpur was a fantastic warm and happy mid with good energy and tons of warmth
Super green sunda was a fantastic feel good mid green

Thanks for the support everyone! I heard mention of the 30 Year Wild White TFH... that has recently become like one of my favorites! Its the first time we actually made a white from this cluster of trees. After trying this one I can say there will be more to come for sure!

We are drying some new batches right now, so we will probably be testing again about 2-3 weeks. One of the tests we are drying is a small 10kg batch of Red Hangat Suma - it's my all-time favorites. We made a small tweak that makes it easier to produce, I cant wait to see how it turns out!

Hey Gumby that test sample of 30 year Wild White that I got with my order was AWESOME!!! I haven't had a white quite that good in almost 2 years when I had Herb Research's white Sumatra, the 30 year Wild White is gonna be a hit with your members!!!

I know you can't and I absolutely understand why, but I wish you could be more in depth with your processes. Some of us are interested because we just are, not to nab your tech. You get it I'm sure. Like I said, I totally get it. A lot of this is proprietary and unique to TFH. We all wanna know how magicians make the card show up in your back pocket, you know?

Totally agree. If anyone is thinking tfh doesn’t stand the hype, then lower your dose. I’ve almost cut my doses in half with tfh and my burns are incredible. Got that wild 30 year white tfh also. That is fire. Love whites right now. Wish I got to order that last week! Anyways, thanks Gumby for letting us order. I am very happy with my purchases. And glad I got a lot!

Ok so i did "Wild Yellow TFH M16" sample 4gram this time, here is my story

10/10 def above average. I think what happened was i used different herbs, and chlorella, when combined with 6 gram "Wild Yellow TFH M16" it went over the roof and my head was on fire with crap raining down. Sorry didnt mean to be graphic but any way, its been 5+ hours, and i am feeling great great with 4g, just relaxing watching random videos on youtube. All i had to do is drop it down a notch by 2 grams. It makes a world a new world and a new meaning.

So i been thinking about the green sludge and i think if you see any, never go over 3 or 4 grams, maybe try with 2 grams. I remember i had some from benny as well it had green sludge and had not the best experience with 6 grams, never went back to it, i ll have to revisit it with 2-3 grams. So just heads up if you do take over 3 grams, it might be to much for you and no one wants to feel nausea and stick two fingers in in front of a toilet and watch the train come out. If you know the kratom has green sludge and mushy bubble on bottom, start low, 2-3 grams.

I was scared to try it again because of my first 6gram reaction + herbs potentiated it like crazy. but feeling very nice right now and at peace with the 4 gram, and yes i eat lots of food with it. If you have no food in system i would advice low ball it with 2 grams, enough water with it, you can always increase a dose later. I am very happy that i had a chance to grab some on black friday, probably the most potent strain TFH had, "Wild Yellow TFH M16".... Feelings are very pronounced. warm, relaxing.

This could be a good for blends, add 1 or 2 grams to your favorite and make nice kick to your blends. Need to test it out.

This is a little off topic and I'm not trying to thread hijack, but after seeing 15+ TFH threads, I'm reminded of a thread I made way back when suggesting mega threads. I agree that not every topic needs a megathread, and I admit I see a downside to them when they're overused, but when it's something as specific as a single vendors and often the same strains review, I think it could really make things look a lot neater and makes a lot of sense to compile them and encourage use of the search function.

No offense to Chris, I use his products and like it just like everyone else, but this is essentially free sponsorship and may puzzle new users into thinking that this is a tfh board not double m. I wouldn't want us to come across as another ILK board or follow in their footsteps. Just something to consider....

I dont think he said he is open, that was black friday deal thing. And i am glad i got something out of it. I will be glad if he opens, and will be in my top 5. Admin poison already announced there will be another section for vendors to communicate more with us, that is a very good idea. TFH set a new standards on how all vendors should act toward public. Even if some didnt like his leaf much, you have to admit, knowledge and service is A+...

I think that you mistook my meaning. I'm aware that he is not open, I was just referring to the overabundance of review threads of his leaf. Maybe just a "Post your tfh review here" and sticky it would make more sense. Just for the sake of limiting clutter. It may not be that big of a deal now that we have only 2,000 members but just wait in a year or so it'll be double that and it'll be even more messy. There's a reason why the bigger forums have to start implementing rules. I made no judgment on the quality of his leaf, which I think is actually pretty good. It just gets confusing when you're looking for a post for a specific review of his leaf and you can't figure it out because they're so many threads that are reviews of his, or you can't remember which thread you were having a conversation with someone in about a specific aspect of his leaf. You have to admit, looking through general or vendor reviews that there are a fuckton of tfh threads that are essentially identical. I'm not exactly saying that he deserves his own sub-forum but it's not very far off from that either.

Again, let me reiterate that I like Chris and his company and his customer service. It's all great, and this has nothing to do with him personally. This is just a forum growing pain that will have to be addressed at one point or another. Maybe mega threads aren't the answer but at the very least some organization is in order.

I understand and agree. Can't wait to see what new implementations will come soon from admin. I also said its best to keep everything under one post, and i always try to post under someone who already started a review for specific vendors and i dont know why others cant do that as well. I also dont like how there is so many new posts. But maybe in new section soon, posts can be scattered around and just vendors encouraged to communicate with us and have a chance to win our hearts and minds. we will see.

That's a valid point. It's not really that bad now but as we've seen this forum grow exponentially, it may be worthwhile to tweak some things.

Yeah maybe in the review section the popular vendors have their own category and then people can post new topics/reviews under their forum. Then the normal review section will be for miscellaneous. I dunno it would be kinda hard to control and decide who gets their own main forum. I hope double m doesn’t grow too much honestly. I browse here everyday and love it. Mainly because it’s all great people and information for the most part. I don’t even look at the Reddit forum anymore because it’s so scattered and useless to me. I looked the other day and all the topics where not enjoyable to browse around in my opinion. I’ll always welcome new people because this forum has helped me tremendously. So I want others to have the info. But I hope it never gets anywhere close to what Reddit has become
