So i ordered a split key from Sosa Speciosa and got the following strains:
Green Sumatra
Green Borneo
Super Gold
Yellow Maeng Da
Red Indo
Red Horn

I was wondering if anyone has tried any of these or more specifically the Super Gold or Yellow MD.

I have had all of those strains and really pretty much all over SOSA'S selections in general.... The super gold and YMD are both favorites of mine personally. Super gold is a great pain reliever, mid slow speed, mild euphoria.... And YMD is a energetic yellow with nice euphoria and also a strong focus aspect as well!!! I actually just burned some YMD today myself. ENJOY!!

Red Indo has been consistently good to me all year long, one of my favorite batches ever was their red Indo and like Ace said, the yellow MD is a good one too, I actually took the Super gold last night at work and had a nice long mild euphoric burn...be sure to leave feedback after you try em.

Im debating on whether i should take the super gold or the yellow maeng da before bed. I like euphoria but not too much energy. Something to warm me up and watch movies till i pass put LOL

Is the YMD to energetic to take before bed?

In my experience, yes. The yellow MD has some energy to it, it's better as a morning burn. It's one of Sosa's consistently good strains. I've had the super gold but it didn't work that good for me, then again most golds don't. It is slow though, it would be a good strain to try at night.

Never tried the gold, but the yellow is definitely not a bed time kratom.

Have a sampler pack come in with those two in it look forward to trying it out and giving my feedback.

Does he charge for extra splits? His site says he only does four-way splits for a kilo. Does anyone know if he does splits on a half a kilo? I've tried to email him, and haven't received a response yet.

I believe he just does 4 way splits, yes he does 4 way for the 500

Had the Yellow MD yesterday afternoon and it was fantastic. It gave me that warm blanket feeling and put me in a fantastic mood. I would definitely recommend it

I also tried the new one and it didn't give me any warm and fuzzies but it really helped me focus. I'll try it tomorrow morning in lieu of coffee, which I'm trying to wean myself off of because, unlike kratom, I crash hard from caffeine.

Sosa's red bone is really great. I try to just use it sparingly to keep it around so Ive had that bag fro some time now. I dont know about the recent batches but that one I have is great

I got my sample pack from Sosa and this was my first order from him. Tried the Red Sunda and it was a definite hit ! Gave it an 8 on pain and a 7 on mood boost. Will definitely be ordering from him again soon !

Yes the red Sunda is by far my favorite if his. Always consistent..the white motan and the yellow md are also winners

How is the white Motan...I recently bought a it in a split but still haven't tried it yet? I thought his white Bali was faster than past shipment, had a hell of a mood boost as well

I emailed an order for a sample pack to Sosa on sunday night and never heard back from him. I have made only one successful order with him.. He is hit or miss with questions i have emailed. I feel like giving up on this vendor, other good options out there like MM who provides excellent customer service.

I've bought three sample packs in the past few months, so I've tried a total of 27, all several times and in different contexts. I look for slow to mid spec reds that I can take anytime and that don't make my head feel fuzzy.

Out of basically all of the reds since September, I really like the Indo, Malay, and Sumatra. Others didn't really stand out, except to say that the current Bali and Borneo are very fast to me and gave me a headache, even at small amounts. Of the non-reds, I need to give a shout out to the Yellow Maeng Da, which is pleasant and not too fast, and the Super Gold, which mixes well with reds. The biggest surprise for me is that I did not like the Red sunda at all. I tried the last three batches and only enjoyed one batch once, and that was in a blend. As the Bard sang, different strokes for different folks!

I'm definitely buying the Sumatra, Info, and Malay. After I take them I get talkative and compassionate, and extra enjoy company.
