Hey everyone! Yellow Vietnam is my favorite strain, it gives me a really good mix of energy and euphoria/mood lift. A store near my house usually sells it, and it's pretty good, but I've recently started ordering online and found some superb quality strains. However, every yellow Vietnam I've tried from online vendors has been pretty poor. If anyone knows a specific online vendor that has exceptional yellow Vietnam or something very similar, I'd appreciate it. I've tried the following:

Smiley time herbals yellow Vietnam (barely felt it)
Mitragaia yellow Vietnam (it was middle of the road)
Botanical bunny's "yellow" (probably the best I've tried but still not as good as the place by my house.
Botanical remedies yellow Vietnam. it was as bad as Smiley's.

Appreciate any advice or recommendations.
P.s. no knock against smiley, I tried their chocolate bent and was BLOWN AWAY it was so good, just having trouble finding this particular strain. Also would like any recommendations for other online vendors in general. I've tried: botanical bunny, canopy, mitragaia, mitraman (my fave), purkratom, coastline kratom (terrible), botanical Remedies, smiley time herbals, and supernatural botanicals.

I believe I would try Smiley’s again when he gets a new batch if I were you. The STH Yellow Vietnam I have from last April is absolute Fire and probably one of the best yellows in my collection. It’s up there with RVA’s 10/17 Yellow Indo.
I guess to be honest, I haven’t ordered Yellow Vietnam from STH since then, so maybe that was just a really good batch. It was the closest thing I’ve had to Fresh Alternative’s Yellow Vietnam from early 2018 (which still holds my #1 spot for yellows) . I still have most of a quarter of Fresh Alternative’s August 2018 batch of YV but it was nowhere near as good as what I got in the Spring of 2018. It goes to show that one batch can be completely different from the next.

I tested for Texas Family Harvest during their latest round of testing and I sampled two yellows, 30 Year Wild Yellow TFH and Wild Harvest Yellow Maeng Da. Both strains were awesome. They each provide euphoria and energy. I liked the 30 Year Wild Yellow TFH more though because the effects it provides are more consistent dose to dose for me. Texas Family Harvest is a members only vendor, but they are currently having an open event for Double M members.

I still have a small amount of fresh alternative yellow Vietnam. That was one killer yellow. I still use it occasionally. Leaves of eden on mewe has a good yellow Vietnam right now. Try that smiley again, I have had an older batch of yellow Vietnam they was killer. Sometimes varieties won’t work right the first couple times you try them.

I recommend jumping on the TFH DoubleM Event while they are accepting orders. There are several Yellow options availble and I'm confident that the majority of them will be great along with two or three that will blow your mind.

Nu Earth Botanicals may be worth a try. They seem to be very proud of their Yellow Vietnam advertising that it has the highest alkaloid content among all the strains that they offer.

Please note that i've never tried Nu Earth's products and have no experience with the quality of their offerings or service. I Just thought it was interesting that they claim their Yellow Vietnam has the highest alkaloid content among a few Maeng Da batches, a Green Malay, Aceh batches and a couple of Bali offerings. My guess is that it may be enhanced which would explain the $17 for a 28g tester. Too rich for me. Best of luck in your search.

Regarding Yellow Vietnam - I think it might be useful for you to read a post I made that shows the "behind the scenes of the kratom industry". Unfortunately, the Vietnam isnt what its being sold as. 97? Holy hell I'd love to get some of that. I don't have $80 on me at the moment for one strain (I have money for more than that just prefer to buy more variety and rarely buy kilos)

Hey I'd love to buy some from you if possible. I've ordered 2 times from you late last year and everything was great (my email is basically my user name from hotmail). Ive been wanting to place another order from you. I've seen you've updated your site, but is that only the 2017 stock you have or is there a current updated strain listing? I thought I read something about a secret menu that wasn't listed but I could be wrong.

I've been meaning to send Mike this vintage HR red kali I have anyway. Hey, by the way 7ohm, maybe you can answer this. Did HS source their Maha Kali from HR? They sourced other stuff from them at one time I know. Mike says the maha kali is special to him in its painkilling qualities and I am wondering if it's the same/from the same place.

I haven't taken any of that HR red kali, Mike. I did take out 5 grams for c_c to try, but that's it. Her giant sampler is sitting on my floor in a box waiting for me to make a legend of all of the strains in numbered bags. I'm just lazy, but I need to get that to her. It also has 150 grams (I think, hippie split it up for me) of the legendary yellow indo I won in that silent auction a while back (along with a bonus 150 grams of the second batch she sent me by mistake.) As for yellow vietnam in general, that was always my favorite strain from smoke shops. I've had some amazing ones from smoke shops but haven't really found one online yet. Instead the closest thing has been the yellow md. Mitraman has been the best so far, yellow md and gold borneo have been awesome. The other one that I've tried which is pretty good is Sosa's yellow md. Not as warm of a euphoria but a good feeling. I just got TFH's yellow md and will be trying that here shortly as I've heard great things about it as well.

When SOSA gets yellow Vietnam back in stock I would highly recommend that one!!! It's a nice relaxing yellow to start and then slowly leads up to some great sedation after about 1.5 to 2hours for me usually....
