Fused Flora Red Maeng Da
Aloha all. Just wanted to share as a pretty knarly chronic pain guy, FF Red Maeng Da has been a godsend. I know we are all different with what hits, but for me this has been my go to when I’m flared up. Thank god for kratom, I just wish I discovered it before I was prescribed pain pills in the past which I didn’t have a good experience with.

I ended up trying the white, green and red takengons. Red was great for pain and didn’t make me tired. Green is one of my new favorites, fast and lifted my mood. Whites don’t do much for me unfortunately. Thanks so much for the recommendations!

Too bad you didn't enjoy that white, I think that one is the king of set!AlohaJED wrote:Luis2387 wrote:AlohaJED wrote:Aloha all. I have been trying to put together a list for my first Fused Flora order, so this is timely. I'm in it for the pain relief too
Thanks again!

Past experiences with Maeng Da: I usually end up with something on the energetic side which CAN be ok, but I can't tolerate stimulants. Would you call this one 'fast' or get any jitters?
Thanks again!
Not OP , and not as thorough a review as I will post in the near future, but I just recently ordered my first batch from FF (10 strains to try) and can say that for pain relief, the Red MD, Red Banjar, Gold Aceh would be what you are looking for without much 'fast'ness to it. For me anyway---- I also got his red Vietnam but havent gotten enough experience to lean one way or another.

No sample pack to speak of, but at 4 bucks for 25 g its a pretty affordable price to get a spread. just put in a 50 dollar order and am getting like 7 different strains from the 10 i first tried, plus a bigger bag of the red Banjar

As the_spookiest mentioned, the prices make it easy to make your own sample pack, but Shaun from Fused Flora also includes 10g samples with orders. The samples are tailored towards your preferences; I buy whites and greens and the occasional yellow, so that's what my sample packs are.

Re: Fused Flora Red Maeng Da
I freakin' LOVE Fused. I have not had one selection flat out suck and only the Malaku was weak for me. I have been ordering consistently for a bit now too so that is a pretty long list of winners.
Slow Pain relief blend for me: Red Aceh or Gold Aceh with Green Riau is fantastic in this department IMO. The Riao/Aceh combo from FF is been a staple for me a month or two up to present. Looks like as of this post here he only has Green Aceh left though soooo perhaps green aceh/red riau...?-- sounds tantalizing! LOL
Yellow MD : No slouch in the pain relief department whilst being remarkably relaxed in the body. The mojo here lies with mood, cognition and interest ( curiosity/fascination ) in the mundane. I would call this a must with any order.
Yellow Kapuas : Once, again not stimulating per se' and still a good time all the same
I'd blend with the Red Riau for pain relief though.
Gold Aceh: Pointing this one out individually because, while not available now, was PRIMO in the slow/pain relief department - @the_spookiest totally echoing you're suggestion here BIG TIME -- keep on eye open for this one if it returns.
Gold MD: Heavier/slower but excels in the U444eeeeee uhh
Red Banjar : My runner up pick in this list but only because when I aim for slow I go real slow. If something more middle of the road without sedation and still solid relief sounds more appealing the Banjar is a good choice. Excellent clarity remains even at increased dosage for me- good daytime red or one I blend with more stimulating varieties to impart a bit relaxation and relief.
I hear ya on this note- depends largely on my diet at the time but I can easily become overstimulated and that is why I adore the Fused Flora leaf. I have yet to have a single instance of "bad energy" (twitchy, anxious, uncomfortable) and in partiular I think FF is my reigning champion of whites and yellows- always juuuuust right and never over the top, is so very hard for me to come by. Anyhoo.... strictly for non-stimulating, pain relief I'd go with the following---Greyfeather wrote:

I'm really looking forward to my first FF order. It's wonderful to have something positive to look forward to during one of the worst summers I can remember.
Stay safe everyone
