Hello everyone! Just joined Double M. I'd like to give a review of some leaf I've had recently. Unfortunately, only a few of these batches are still available, but I figured I'd review em all anyways. Also, I have a decent tolerance (10-15gpd), so keep that in mind.
Botanical Bunny:
Wild White (lot14 - batch 2002): 7.5/10 Strong initial mood lift. Once the mood lift wore off, I was left with a fairly high amount of unwanted stimulation which lasted for quite awhile. A good strain if used in smaller doses. Also, around 2 hours after dosing, I would develop an extremely strong sensation in my gums and teeth. I'm sure ya'll know what I'm talking about.
Red MD JongKong (lot12 - batch 1908): 5/10 Average leaf. No negative side effects.
Yellow (lot 12 - batch 1911): 5/10 Also average leaf. No side effects either.
Gold MD (lot 12 - batch 1905): 5.5/10 Fairly average leaf but did seem to give some ever so slight relaxation/drowsiness which was welcomed.
Premium MD (lot 12 - batch 2001): 8.5/10 Strong mood lift. Didn't leave me with too much jitters after the mood lift wore off. Great leaf. Very deserving of being called "Premium." Wish it wasn't all gone.
Green Jonkong 12(lot 12 - batch 2002) 8.5/10 Strong mood lift. I just dosed this strain for the first time today. My dose was heavier than usual (4gs) so that might be influencing my opinion but so far it feels every bit as good as the PMD 12 - batch 2001. They ran out just a couple days ago. Would have ordered more if I would have known it was this good.
Green Dayak (Lot 17 - batch 2004): Tried it the other day but haven't decided yet how I'd rate it. Will update later after more testing. I will say though, it had an interesting taste to it. Almost like a hint of pine. Not a bad thing. Just an observation.
White MD Jongkong (lot 12 - batch 2001): Again, tried it the other day but need to test it more before it gets a rating. Will update.
Premium MD (lot 12 - batch 2004): Haven't tried it yet. I'll try it tomorrow morning and share my thoughts when I feel I can give it a proper rating. Given the quality of batch 2001, I'm hopeful for this one.

Agreed on all, pretty much. I love their PMD’s. Tho, I wasn’t a fan of the Red MD Jongkong at first either, but I use it for nighttime now.

Great review!! I was very pleased with what I received from BB a little over...... 45 days ago??
The Red MD Kapuas -12 batch 2001 resonated so well with me it was my favorite red for a minute
Rojo Loco (lot 14 - batch 2002) and Verde (lot 14 - batch 2002) were mondo enjoyable blends as well, specifically in the "mood" department which is where it counted most for me at the time.

OP, any more opinions on those last few?
I'm also curious what other people think about the red MD JK?
And has anyone tried something good in 1811?

99% certain it was the PMD in 1811 I had and actually read it was a dud for some folks in contrast to other batches but it sure did the trick for me. Although it WAS a bit fast for my subjective taste and not necessarily a home-run, it knocked the socks off two fellow kratomic compadre's of mine with whom I shared soooo regardless, I gotta contend 3 out of 3 folks being more then satisfied- it couldn't have been THAT off (although the statements do have me curious to try another batch just for comparison/curiosities sake)

He told me it’s subjective. Yeah a few seemed quite disappointed with it, but when asking him about it, he was a stand up guy and said to just try it and if I don’t like it he will send me a different batch! Really nice vendor.
Also funny you say it’s fast but others say it was to slow. Weird how it works like that.

Just got my package. Mixed 1811 white maeng da JK with red maeng da JK, just says Lot 12, this Kratom tastes much better than the last Kratom I bought online, tastes like I remember from back in the day, actually even better. I boiled about 1.5 teaspoons of each leaf powder in a cup of water for 5 minutes, threw in an ice cube, and down the hatch.
It really tasted amazing is my first thought, and has no grittiness. I’ll report back for the important part soon, but I have reasonably high expectations. The powder is quite fine, but not superfine, which is actually my
Preferred texture.
Edit: within 5 minutes Im already feeling a slight mood-lift.
Edit 2: Feeling pretty dam good! I’m going to try the controversial 1811 PMD now! I also have some samples just called “maeng da” and “premium maeng da” with no batch number from him? If anyone can chime in on that?
Edit 3: The premium maeng da seems to taste just as good and also lacks any grittiness. I actually throw gritty Kratom straight in the trash whenever I get it. I have a heavy and deep warm euphoria but something is also slightly killing the mood lift from the white strain. When I say heavy euphoria, I don’t necessarily mean extremely powerful, but a sort of deep and relaxing warm euphoria, but missing a bit of the “fuzzy” feeling if that makes any sense. It’s more of a warm euphoria with only a slight fuzzy feeling. It’s coming on even stronger now.
I can’t attest to what effect is coming from each of these strains as I took a white, premium, and red maeng da, and we all know color is BS anyway, but I can say that the three together is not what I would call garbage. It’s a bit harder for me completely feel kratom as well because I still take 1-2 mg of subs a day, but I haven’t taken any yet to try my best to feel the full effects of these strains. And I definitely do feel something. So that should speak volumes about it’s quality and effectiveness.
Edit 4: I actually think the warm euphoria based on other reviews was more from the red JK and now the PMD is actually hitting. It is giving me a moodlift and and that nice green vein energetic euphoria. What I’m feeling I rate 6.5-7/10. Would absolutely be even better if I had a lower tolerance and took no subs. So I’ll give the strains so far a 7-8/10, especially considering the good taste and no obvious gritty contamination. Yes I have been unlucky with nasty kratom plenty of times. Remember this is all subjectivr and I always recommend to boil your kratom.
That’s the end of my review for now.

Still Haven't made up my mind about the Green Dayak and Premiun MD.
For the White MD Jongkong 12 - 2001, I'd say it's between a 7/10 - 8/10. Solid Leaf.
Sorry it's been taking me awhile to get back with the reviews. I try to stick with one strain per day so as to get the full experience. Also, my rotation is about 6-7 strains. I'll be taking the Green Dayak 17 - 2004 tomorrow and the PMD 12 - 2004 the day after so I should have an opinion soon.

Hello, this is my first post on here, started using kratom again so I thought my opinions might help you guys pick out the best strains. I've been using kratom for 2.5 years. Lately, I'm averaging around 20 grams a day so I probably have more tolerance to kratom than you.
Note I'll be taking 3 strains throughout the day so I won't have all my reviews on until tomorrow.
Botanical Bunny Strains :
Plantation (lot 12 batch 1811) - 7/10 Super green bitter taste and visually is super green. This strain feels like a potent green strain (elephant), but I'm not a big fan of green kratom because of the lack of euphoria. Whites and reds are much more euphoric for me but if you like a potent green strain of kratom then this one will definitely be at the top.

I just tried the smallest batch of every strain they have, based off of recommendations from here. I'm not a fan, seems a bit weaker to me than a lot that I've tried. Everyone is different though. I've been a daily user for the past 2-3 yrs probably. I like the mood boost/euphoria for depression/anxiety, plus pain relief. I didn't get much euphoria from botanical bunny. It was worth a try I guess.

Back2K, for Botanical Bunny the label on the bag just has the lot number. The batch number and lot number are on the packing slip/ invoice (unless the samples weren't listed on the invoice) and the BB website.

For those still curious...
Green Dayak 17 - 2004: I'd say 5/10 - 6/10. Average leaf. No negative side effects. For me it just didn't pack as much of a punch compared to some other BB strains.
Premium MD 12 - 2004: I'm going with 8.5/10. Feels very comparable to the PMD 12 - 2001.
As a side note, I am in the middle of a taper but I have been keeping my pre-breakfast morning dose at 2.5g and basing my rating off that.
I probably won't get a chance to try it but I'm curious how the White Dayak is compared to the Green. I think a few people gave it a pretty good review a little while back.

I haven’t had much experience with his Kratom except the few strains that aren’t very well reviewed (1811’s), and they still at least somewhat worked for me. I probably hyped my review up a bit to much because the effects did wear off pretty quickly, and all of them but the white vein hit me more like a red vein, and I am not to crazy about red vein. Green and white give me way more euphoria.
But he is a stand up guy, best vendor I have ever used when it comes to customer service, and I am
Dead serious. I now have some white dayak 2004, PMD 2004, plantation batch 2005, green jongkong 2005, and MD kapuas green 2005 on the way. I’m quite excited to try the 2004 PMD if you said it was that good

I love a good fast maeng da.

I wasn't aware that the 1811 batch wasn't very well liked and I ordered the 1811 Red Papuas. *Fingers Crossed* - I have had good experiences with Bunny so far so I think it should be good but we'll see soon enough

I could be wrong but I believe it was specifically the 1811 lot 12 PMD.

Botanical Bunny posted elsewhere that batch 1811 was held up in customs quite a while before being released this year.
BB batch numbers = the date - 1811 is from November 2018.
BB Lot number = Vendor, - Lot 14 is Kratom Crumbs
Some of Botanical Bunny's Greens are some of my favorites

I seemed to have had quite a good experience with the 1811 white maeng da. I'll try it again by itself tomorrow. It was my preferred type of "burn", and I definitely think it was that. Because I tried the other Kratom I mixed it with by itself later to rule it out, and it didn't do what I had felt earlier.

My shipment of Gold 2004 and Red Papuas 1811 showed up. I am not the most adept reviewer but I will do my best.
Gold 2004 - I have gotten this strain twice in the past and this time (batch 2004) it seems to be a bit darker and more mellowed out. It still has that signature goldish brown color but this time it just seems a shade or two darker. As expected it is nice and mellow like previous golds but doesn't quite have the same mood boost , however it is not knock out sleep strain. I would say it's on the slower side just definitely not the slowest. It's a nice slow-mid strain for me. I think that I prefer the old golds that I have to this one but it's still quite good. It has that signature clean taste/feel that I love about Bunny's gold strain and I still really like it.
Red Papuas 1811 - This strain is really dark in color, probably the darkest looking kratom I have ever had. It's really thick in texture and I have a hard time dissolving it in a glass of orange juice, it just sticks to the bottom of the glass no matter how much I stir it. But for effects this thing is a knock out sleep strain. First time I took it it was at night and I generally have a hard time sleeping and I went right out. Definitely a nice and unique slow strain. I am thinking this will be a good thing to mix with some strains I have that I stay away from most of the time because they are too fast for me - Maybe it will make some kratom I have that's not so useful more usable.

I’d say that being pretty generous. That Green Dayak 17 - 2004 is the most useless kratom I've ever ingested... Well, yeah, it was even worse than the Green Vietnam 12 - 1911.

And this is my issue with botanical Bunny. I see all these old strains that people reviewed and say were awesome but then I end up with the wrong batch thats apparently worthless. I go 100 grams of both the 1811 PMD and the 2004 white dayak. Apparently someone is sending me some good botanical bunny though, and I liked his plantation maeng da pretty decently. The 2005 plantation.

@Back2K
I feel your frustration but I've got to disagree with you on that being an issue with BB. If anything, BB is being transparent by listing their strains by vendor and batch #. Regardless of vendor, all strains will vary from batch to batch. If someone reviews a specific batch, you can't reasonably expect another batch of the same strain to be identical. It sucks, but that's just the way it'll be until harvesters are willing/able to invest in R&D and figure out how to get some damn quality control. One day though.
Hope what is being sent to you is indeed good.
@Bubba
Yeah, that was a bit generous. Everything I've had from lot 17 has been meh so far. The green red vein was similar to the green dayak. Again, no negative effects, just weak. Lot 12 is where the hitters are.
