So far what I've really enjoyed in very recent history included Yellow Sunda, Gold Borneo, Red Elephant and Red Horn (fantastic daytime red). All of those qualify as very effective in a cozy, safe relief fashion. Yellow MD has proven to be mid-fast, clean and bright daytime comfort burn.
But as of last week I tripped over the Red and Gold Sumatra (which I would assume qualifies as current batch). These are the strains that really prompted this review.
Red Sumatra is just a totally solid knock-out blanket strain for me. A weighty ride into satisfying rest for sure, with pleasant mood humming in the background just as one might hope for in late evening selection.
Gold Sumatra however, is the star of the show in my book. Still slow in body or mid at best, similar to the Red Sumatra but without the knock-out. Provides a lot more space in the experience for the "happy" to take center stage, with enough duration to really savor the flavor.
Both of these have a unique enough signature to warrant this write up with their staying-power. Coming on slow to build in effect and last long are hallmarks here.
To expand on a full-review though it must be noted that Mitraman himself is a gem in his own right. Very strict quality control and care is evidenced by his constant interactions on the day to day via Mewe. Demonstrative of how much dedication goes into making sure you don't stand risk of getting any product that is lesser-than no matter you're choices, which in turn makes the wide-variety remarkable. Quick to help and down to earth are the qualities that round out, what I've found to be an extremely kind and SOLID dude.
I think a simple bottom line of "order with confidence... but don't miss out on the newest additions" is what I'm trying to convey here aside from my individual and subjective love of the two Sumatra.
SIDENOTE: liked em so much I naturally HAD to get a white sumatra in the mail and on the way
