TFH Wild Harvest White Indo

Post by Greyfeather »

Hey Good People!

I can't remember if I've actually ever done a review here. I'm shy about it because I'm not very good at reviewing kratom, so please pardon me if this is clumsy.

I received a sample from Texas Family Harvest a while back: Wild Harvest White Indo: MUK-12.

This is only the second white I have ever tried. Typically I avoid them because I have anxiety (I avoid all stimulants, including coffee), but I did not get any sleep last night and had an early appointment so I thought I would see if this leaf might give me a bit of 'kick'. It certainly did. I was wide eyed and awake within 15 minutes and had a most enjoyable sense of clarity and focus fairly quickly. I also suffer from depression and it has been very bad since the pandemic started. After a 2 gram serving of this white....I can't remember feeling this easy-going in a great long time. Normally I would be very cranky from lack of sleep, but I was able to spend the day with my partner without getting short-tempered. I even caught myself laughing. The oppressive fear that I feel every second of the day just evaporated. So maybe this is the euphoria folks describe? All this time I expected a white to make me nervous and shaky, but instead I was extremely calm and focused. The effects lasted about eight hours.

I am VERY impressed. If I'm feeling this way because of the White Indo, it's a terrible shame that I didn't have any of this stuff 30 years ago. Seriously, I tried cannabis for the first time in 35 years, but this White Indo is giving me the "good feels" I did NOT get with the weed. I'm preferring the kratom. This white indo gave me a LITTLE bit of an analgesic effect, but not enough to make much of a difference, so after 45 minutes I added a sedating red, but it absolutely did not interfere with the clarity from the white indo. So I enjoyed pain relief AND a very significant improvement in mood. I am so very impressed and I am considering making a purchase of this strain.

Bravo! 5-Star review there Greyfeather :ugeek:

Absolutely kratom gives MORE mood Lift, or euphoria or whatever that feeling is.. compared to cannabis. Just like kratom, weed effects are dose dependent, with a problem: Smoking pot U have no control over Serving Size! One of the worst side-effects of weed - terrible anxiety. Paranoia! All potheads pretty much admit to this... of course also gets you high, makes you giggle, etc.

Here on the West Coast where cannabis is legal.. Kratom still has not blended in. Which I'm kind of surprised.. but, ask around, many of the pot smokers associate kratom with dope - heroin, etc. There is still a serious black tar problem.. everywhere. Kind of crazy these people are SO close minded.. I thought pot was supposed to make U more open minded? Huh.. weird.

I have found that very carefully taking a LIGHT dose of THC, along with kratom.. is nice! :P But, the only way really to measure that, is getting some quality Cannabis Syrup or RSO (Rick Simpson Oil). otherwise... you think white kratom is bad for jitters - some of the Sativa bud strains are a no-no!! Different type of anxiety. I'm with you... stick with kratom!!

Hey Greyfeather. Ballz doesn’t throw around compliments too often, so it must be a great review!

Seriously, being a die hard green user, I’ve found out too that there are many softer, mood lifting whites out there. I would never have considered a THF white on a split kilo order, but I’m starting to rethink that.

@BallzDeep9

You are being far too generous, my friend :D After a year with kratom I'm still essentially a noob. But I'm doing what I can for the cause ;)

And your observations about weed.... Oh so true. After smoking some indica I suddenly remembered why I have avoided it all of my adult life. The paranoia is nigh overwhelming. Also, I sat with my face about six inches from the computer screen for about a half an hour, reading a Yahoo article that required only two minutes - it was SO INTERESTING  Needless to say, it did nothing for my pain (except to make it SO INTERESTING), nor did I realize that weed - for some bizarre reason - can send you into a deep, dank hole where you re-live every stinky think you've ever done. I'm going to give it one more shot with edibles and then nada.

But I appreciate the thumbs-up. You are a true mensch 8-)

Hey RumRunner!

Always a pleasure to hear from you ;) Yeah, I'm thinking that a 4-way split with a white would be a good bet. Now I'm wondering what whites from other vendors might be like. TFH is just so consistent with all of their strains that I wonder if the effects elsewhere might be drastically different. And that might be OK  If nothing else, I'm excited about the prospect of experimenting. It's been a long time since I've wanted to do that. Also, now I'm curious about TFH's other whites, but I think I'm supposed to raise that topic on the General Discussion board.

Stay well, friend :D

I always though cannabis was like an adaptogen to me like just start with a small dose maybee one puff let your body adapt to the stress of the high. Which in the beginning is uncomfortable but after a month goes by you can smoke a whole joint and it actually starts helping you more at this point rather than make you anxious. Its a weird plant. I treat it as an adaptogen that slowly helps my body find homeostasis, finding homeostasis can be uncomfortable sometimes I guess lol. With cannabis whatever emotion I'm feeling at the time is basically amplified 10x.

By far my favorite white of his Ive tried and I never even had luck with whites before. I’ve had the 30 yr WW, White Elephant and many more that have got rave reviews here but that white Indo is something special
