Mystic Island White Sumatra

This is a batch I received in June from Mystic Islands. My first order from them. I usually take reds and they do not sedate me but give me a good focused energy, ( I have ADD) but recently I have started to go into greens and whites to mix it up a bit.
I took about 3 grams of White Sumatra, mixed with Grapefruit juice and 10 minutes later became very sleepy and then proceeded to sleep deeply for 2 hours (in the middle of the afternoon!) with very vivid dreams.
I was a bit shocked to tell the truth, I expected more of a coffee like stimulation. It's a white after all!
Anyway thought I 'd share this. Will try this again but next time in the evening!
Anyone else had that experience?

Probably just a fluke man.
That, and the lack predictability with kratom in genral. I've had whites kind of dissociate me, which would be fine if i hadn't taken it right before work lol

I wasn't a big fan of the white sumatra. To me it seemed like a "dirty" energy, like a cloudy mind with physical energy, which can be good for physical labor (lol) but not for much else. But I like alot of Mystic's strains, just not this one.

What a great description that is. I've never tried this particular strain, but I've had similar experiences where I couldn't quite describe the sensation of "yeah, it's energy, but it's a crappy, buzzy energy." I look at the clock and four hours has passed but I haven't really
accomplished anything.
I can't call them useless strains, they're just not very useful for me.

True it seems the experiences are never the same. I have not had a white I really liked, but heard so much good about them.

This happens to me with potent white strains sometimes.. I figured it was because I crossed that line from lower energizing dose to a larger sleepy dose that kratom uniquely has... In regards to Whites- my smallest effective dose is perfect, more than that but less than the crossover line will make me edgy and give me an anxiety headache, above the crossover and beyond will put me straight to sleep! Hopefully that makes sense and helps a bit?!

haha

The slow white sumatra- in my experience works well mixed (20-30%) in with a feel good, refreshing green.
By itself during warm sunny months- it's too strong and can feel like being in a stupor. So blend it.
Exception- personal preference.. I like it during cooler / darker monhths by itself, a bit lower dose with coffee before heading out in the evening.
That can be a treat. People do respond to herbs & some mitra strains differently by season btw
It's a leisure time or long walks, or shopping, errands when you aren't on a schedule & can appreciate people & things.
Perspective, sensory enhancement- noticing stuff you've forgotten about. It's not productive but it's therapeutic for mind set
and enjoyment when you figure it out.
