Review for Koality Leaf

Post by cvltrsply »

Hey guys! I revised my prior post to be more in line with the forum rules and give more detail to my review on the Kratom itself. Like I said I am New to this forum but not new to Kratom. Been using Kratom for 2-3 years after a 5 year journey to find relief from chronic pain due to 4 herniated discs in T & C spine among other injuries.

I have been ordering from Koality the past few months after finding this forum. Koality has been awesome. 2 Day shipping, 50 bucks for 500 grams and he even helps me custom order from his choice of strains in regards to what I need and where my pain/energy levels are at. I started off ordering super red and green, since these are my faovrite strain colors, and after a few orders I asked him to pick for me based on my needs. He hasn't failed me yet, which this approach also helps me diversify my strains while tailor fitting my needs. I recently have used Red Malay, Red Sula, Super Red, Green Malay, Super green and a few others. Super green and red are by far my favorite. The green gives me energy and powerful morning pain relief without jitters or irritability (happens with white and yellows for me). The reds are used for my end of day dosing, again by far my favorite has been super red. It has the whole package, powerful relief, relaxing, while not being a straight sedative. I want to relaxed while alert and with my dosing, I can easily achieve this. I have a kiddo to love opn when I get home each day!

I said earlier I was dosing 9-11 grams each sering of popular brands. Dosing 4-6 times a day for relief. However, with Koality his quality is how it should be. I was using this dosing for 2 years but on my first order, I literally did 8 grams and decided never to do that again unless tolerance warranted it. I literally only have to dose 4 maybe 5 grams per serving of his strains (everyone I've tried has been consistent with potency). I have saved so much money for my family with his pricing and I love that I don't have to visit the local headshop to get my needs served. Nothing against headshops but they aren't very family-friendly when you have the kiddos on hand for the day. I also realized what good kratom is due to this forum and our vendors. The alkaloid content is through the roof when I shake my dose it bubbles 4 inches up in my cup. But I am guessing that's how it always should have been after realizing how much of a rip-off headshop brands are. It almost feels like extortion now after what I pay from Koality in contrast with what locals by for their weekly needs.

I am so glad I found this forum and Koality. I will leave another review on some other vendors tried but wanted to dedicate this first post to him! Don't sleep on this vendor. I have tried dozens and dozens of brands, extracts, fermentation processes, drying techniques lol and the list could go on.

The greens I look for are bright, energetic yet still able to target pain. Super green is my favorite by far for the potency, 4-5 grams is all I need. It gives a warm feeling throughout my body when it’s onset begins, the foginess in my thoughts that accompanies pain early in the morning begins to clear. A half hour or less after dosing I feel the pain die down, I feel more productive, inspired and social (things that are normal for most people with out chronic pain and other disorders). The dose lasts me easily 4-5 hours sometimes 6 or 7. Some days I only need dose 3 times with meals. Very bad days I dose maybe 5 times. But even then they can be smaller doses at the 4 hour mark with Koality. The taste of his leaves are of course unpleasant like all Kratom but they mix great in liquid and don’t feel nearly as grainy as most store brands. If I dose too high my body can immediately tell me at onset which makes the strain easy to asses for proper dosing. I had to fool around maybe for 2 doses before I found my right dose. It tastes more pleasant than other vendors for some reason maybe due to the micronization or grinding process. My go to is 8 oz of OJ, Gatorade or a protein shake in the AM or evening. The reds I have tried have been great as well. Definitely are key for afternoon evening doses as you can easily find the line between pain relief and sedation and customize your needs from there for those who don’t sleep well. My favorite has been the Super Red and Red Malay. Both in experience feel similar. The red super I will say is a little but more uplifting and less sedative in small doses while the Malay gets straight to the point and is a powerhouse for end of day pain and exhaustion. It just stamps out my rib, neck and thoracic pain and radiating pain as well. They are smooth in digestion but I would say drink slower, I am a chugger, but the alkaloid reaction and foam are very active and it can be a little more foamy during drinking which can expand in your stomach if drank too fast. Nothing uncomfortable but if you’re already full or super hungry it can feel like you chugged a ginger ale too fast (in a good way). But if you are a pro at drinking the leaf you won’t mind. It’s not the taste or way it goes down it’s the effectiveness at which it works.

I would also like to post my context and need for Kratom by my pain story here below as all medicating is dependent on your needs. Some may use for social anxiety while others for mood stabilization or a myriad of reasons; I medicate for pain chronic pain treatment. Here using my story I will attempt for fellow pain sufferers to describe my pain levels, injuries and other attempts in finding relief. I hope this can give context on what my body really faces each day.Hopefully this will help others out!

Due to my injuries and pain levels, I have been to every doctor relevant to my injuries. I was refused surgery due to being too young at 28. I've been to chiropractors, neuro's, ortho's, PT's, needling specialists, massage and natural remedy specialists. Ive had a dozen injections and other trial treatments.

My pain has been constant for 5 years. I was super active and always on the move. Olympic weightlifting, dirtbikes, skateboarding, rock climbing, hiking, running, bouldering and crossfit. But when my injury occurred During a bouldering session one day in 2015 I was bedridden for the two months Following at 25 yrs old. I went to ER's when the pain started making me blackout or throw up. Due to my age, I wasn’t taken seriously until I demanded a scan of my thoracic and cervical spine where they found my herniated discs, stenosis and scoliosis that developed from the injury. This was two years into the process. Doctors told me for two years I had minor disc bulge from my xrays in my C8 and sent me to PT. I was persistent after getting no relief. I've spent thousands of dollars at doctors and spent hundreds of hours in appointments. I've been prescribed every standard narcotic But none of them were effective to touch my pain. This led doctors to think I was using the system when I was just being honest about my pain levels and medication experience. I’ll note as well, I don't like pills or patches and don't want the negative health impacts that come from dependency or being dependent on a doctor who medicates me based on what they believe my pain levels are. My age definitely made the process harder. I was never looking for meds, I just wanted health and relief. I had been written off and pushed from pain management to neuros to orthos and have had countless doctors Most refused to take my complaints as legit. My last doctor 2 years ago. I told him I found this leaf Called Kratom that was helping my pain and he immediately responded that if I was going to use kratom he would have to ask me to leave his practice. So I had to choose his suboxne derived oral pain patch and hydrocodone or Kratom. So I left his office and practice and never looked back. That week I threw all his meds in the trash. I’m Thankful for kratom and the relief its brought into my life. I am active every day now, I run, I eat healthy (vegetarian for inflammation) and can pick up my child without pain most days.

Lastly, I have also used I've used medical grade CBD-THC therapy as my state opened up medical cannabis this year. However, Kratom is still my go-to, to live actively, be as pain-free as possible and avoid the high that comes with other routes. To each their own, but if your needs are similar to mine feel free to ask questions or share anything you'd like.

And PS use Koality if you haven't! Tell him your needs and let him hook you up with his input and his favorite strains. Thanks man!
