Fused Flora - A few green vein reviews

Post by rr9191 »

I was really enjoying the green (and yellow) kapuas I got from FF and was running low on the green so I decided to place another order. Saw that he had green takengon in stock again and had to jump on the opportunity after seeing many glowing reviews on his takengon line on this forum.

For reference, I usually start my day with 5.6g and end it with 8.4g (8 size 00 capsules, and 12 size 00 capsules respectively). Also since this is my first post, I will say I don't like giving every strain I enjoy 10/10 or even 9/10 because for me a 10/10 is going to be the best I have ever tried.. 9/10 very close to that. For instance, I would say that a super red borneo I tried a few years back from a vendor that is now email only (not naming names) would be a 10/10 for me.. and one called Jade Malay (normally a 1.8% batch but this was a 2.2-2.4% batch) was close behind as a 9 or 9.5/10.

Green Takengon - This one is really great for me. Has a really nice energetic aspect to it while still being relaxing to an extent.. as in no anxiety or anything of that sort, although that is rare for me from kratom these days anyways. I did get a slight hint of it from his white kapuas though. I've been enjoying this one a whole lot, glad I got 200g of it. Really gets me motivated and makes basically anything I'm doing enjoyable. I thought it was just "OK" at first, but after a few times of using it I have come to really enjoy it. There are some nice subtleties to this one that make it unique and very pleasurable.

Overall: 8.5/10

Green Kapuas - This one is great for mixing and pretty solid on its own as well. It has a very crisp essence to me. Invigorating is a good word for it as well.

Overall: 7.5/10

Green Sumatra - I think I need to give this a few more tries.. but so far it is very relaxing to me. I have really been enjoying this one as well, but I wouldn't say it has too many unique qualities. Just really nice glowing relaxation all around. Quality leaf for sure.

Overall: 7.5/10

Green Nanga - I also need to give this a couple more tries, but the 2nd and 3rd times were much better than the first. It doesn't seem overly potent but gets the job done nonetheless. Definitely has a solid euphoric aspect to it from what I've noticed. Maybe I need to dial in the amount more. It could be coincidence but I have noticed some headaches alongside this one.. I am leaning towards it being a coincidence though due to the weather lately. I've had headaches on days where I didn't touch this one for instance.

Overall: 6.5/10

These are the latest ones I've tried.. I did get Super Green Borneo the first time around as well and I would give that one a 6.5/10 as well. I know many people say it is their favorite, but it just doesn't seem too strong or even noticeable to me. I've been using it mostly as a mixer which it seems to work well with (I feel the same way about the gold kapuas).

If you enjoyed these reviews and want more or want to know about a specific item on the menu, let me know! I have tried probably 75% of the menu at FF.

Also, there is something I have noticed with Shaun's leaf that I have never experienced before. It also is only with certain "strains" on the menu. They have some sort of magnetic aspect to them. I've noticed it so far with all 3 of the Super varieties, the kapuas varieties, and now the Takengon as well. I always make capsules because I can't stand the flavor of kratom.. and after a get them partially filled up, the kratom literally won't stay in the capsules to fill them all the way. It gets really messy actually. It literally will bounce out of the capsules as I try to use the green leveling card to sweep the remainder in my capsule machine into the capsules. Then it sticks to the card itself. I can slide the card along the capsule machine where the powder that didn't get into the capsules is and watch it literally fly out of the capsules and stick to the card lol. It has me kind of concerned with how it literally seems like something magnetic the way the powder literally pushes itself away from the powder already in the capsules.. but I'm wondering if it has something to do with static electricity??

I tried my best to explain that, but I can make a video if it would help. Just curious if anyone else has noticed this or if Shaun sees this post and has any input.

Thanks for reading, have a good one.

Sure, makes sense. We control the humidity where we process, and would explain a bit more static. We also just purchased a brand new industrial sieve that we've been using the last few weeks and an ion generator that we're using between baggings. We've noticed the sieve makes a huge mess for our facility and powder is sticking to everything, but could be static from the ions as well. We thought it was more the vibration and the cloud the sieve makes as it agitates, though now that you mention it could be a few variables. It may be the weather here in VA recently as well, as it's been 70s and dry which is very unusual. We're working on a return vent, similar to what Oties has to work the cloud; we'll try to work a solution for the air ionization too to fix that for you.

Thanks for the great Green Reviews! It is appreciated as I’ve been looking to try some of theirs as well. I’m still trying to figure out how/what I can use the 200+ rewards points I have, but want to order some of the greens u mentioned & a couple whites. Do u or anyone else have thoughts on the bentuangie & yellow/gold strains? Thanks again for ur reviews! Btw, I’ve been trying to find reasonable capsules or capsule machine, feel free to pm w/ any thoughts as well. Have a great day!

Thanks for the reviews. Is there anyone who can shed light on how FF's reward system works?

Not a big fan of the Gold Maeng Da like many people seem to be. It has consistently given me a really weird shitty feeling. Like a bad feeling in my stomach and anxiety inducing for some reason. Was glad I didn't order much of it.

The yellow kapuas is actually one of my favorite items on the menu though. Has a really unique relaxing feeling and is by far my favorite to mix with other strains. It goes super well with basically anything. My absolute favorite mix was his super red + yellow kapuas though. That combo was pretty unbeatable. I made sure to save enough to have it on special occasions.

The gold kapuas is another really nice one and is a solid pick for mixing. Has a pretty unique profile to it as well, a bit more on the sedative side than the yellow kapuas.. the yellow kapuas seemed to really add euphoria to anything I mixed it with.

Thanks for the information! It certainly does make a mess lol. The strains that have this issue are the most potent ones for the most part though so I put up with it haha. It certainly is a bitch to make capsules of them though. I have resorted to filling capsules mostly with the messy ones and then using a strain that doesn't have this issue to fill it the rest of the way.

For what it's worth, your green sumatra is by far the best consistency of any strain you have and is also one of my favorites. You really nailed it with whatever you did with that one. That type of consistency is very often associated with very high quality product imo.

Based on the reviews posted I ordered Green Takengon & Sumatra among others. Will post reviews when I try them. I did like the Bentuangie Kapuas & Sunda the 2nd time I tried them w/o mixing w/ other strains & I’d recommend them. Pleasant energy & relaxation in both!

It appears the website has been updated, and 200 points is good towards $10 discount. I'm enjoying that Green Takengon currently, along with their White Kapuas selection.
