MitraMan Recent Strain Review (DEC2020)

Hello All. Here are some quick reviews from some of MitraMan's most current batches (besides the Red Elephant). I have been taking kratom for about 3 years on and off, and have been through many vendors. MitraMan quickly made their way up to my top 3 soon after discovering their kratom. These reviews are in no particular order:

(For "speed," the lower the number, the slower the strain and vice versa)

Red Horn -
Overall: 9/10
Speed: 4/10
Mood: 10/10

Absolutely incredible red. Warm and cozy. Fantastic mood lift. Solid pain relief. Mid-slow red. I mix it with speedier greens/whites to get a full mid spec experience if taking during the day.

Green Batak -
Overall: 9.5/10
Speed: 7/10
Mood: 10/10

This is a gold standard green IMO. It is like the red horn, only faster and slightly longer legs. Motivating and social. Warm and cozy, huge mood lift with great energy. A must have.

Yellow MD -
Overall: 8/10
Speed: 6/10
Mood: 9/10

A true mood boost strain. Slight stimulation, a unique, more heady feel. Lots of smiles.

White Ketapang -
Overall: 4/10
Speed: 5/10
Mood: 5/10

White keta was sort of a miss for me. Slight mood lift, ok energy. Have yet to try it mixed. Will take a few more times, and edit if I feel necessary.

Red Bali -
Overall: 7.5/10
Speed: 4/10
Mood: 7.5/10

A classic, strong red bali. Nice mood lift, long legs, great pain relief. Everything I look for in a red bali strain.

Green JongKong -
Overall: 8.5/10
Speed: 7.5/10
Mood: 8/10

My 2nd favorite green of MM's. Very similar to the Batak only a bit less mood lift and slightly faster. Red horn or batak mixed with this strain 50/50 = heaven.

Gold Borneo -
Overall: 6/10
Speed: 3.5/10
Mood: 6/10

Similar to the gold MD, only less mood lift and a hair slower. Very smooth. Makes a great base for blending, but not the greatest on its own (to me).

Red Elephant (September Batch) -
Overall: 6.5/10
Speed: 1.5/10
Mood: 6.5/10

A very slow and heady red. Definitely a night time strain. Not much mood lift. Extreme relaxation.

Gold MD -
Overall: 8.5/10
Speed: 3/10
Mood: 9/10

An excellent gold strain, one of the best I have tried. Very euphoric, heavy and warm with a touch of energy. Lovely.

Yellow Sunda -
Overall: 7/10
Speed: 7/10
Mood: 7/10

Yellow sunda was a very unique strain for me. An "uppity" kind of mood lift, kinda warm yet energetic. Stimulating and social.

Is the recent green batak as slow as it was last batch. I use it for sleep so im just wondering.

I have batches from September and December and I find the Batak to be neither fast or slow, sort of neutral with plenty of mood enhancement!

I agree with Rubbertoes. The new green batak is very neutral/mid for me. If I take in the evening I almost always mix it with a relaxing, warm, non stimulating red or gold to allow the batak to really shine.

The Green Batak is one of my top 3 strains of the year. I absolutely love it. The Red Horn and Red Elephant are consistently fire too. Mitraman worked his way up my vendor ranks very quickly with these ones

I was extremely tempted to put the Batak on my latest order, but did not pull the trigger. Might need to place another order soon!

Thanks to this forum I am new to Mitra Man and have only tried his December 2020 strains so have no comparison to older lists, but I have liked everything on that list I have ordered and tried so far.

My first order was only 100g of three strains just to try. I ordered Premium MD, Supergreen and Yellow Sunda and have zero complaints of any of them. In fact I tried the Supergreen first and was wondering what have I been doing for the past 2 years because I liked it so much.

I have since placed two larger orders split numerous ways so I can try all of what he has. I am a quick fan of Mitra Man, his product is great and his customer service is also exceptional. I will post again when I start opening up those green bags of goodness and start trying more!

I too ordered (from Mitra) for the 1st time in December, and now I wish I had grabbed the green batak ha-ha. So far I've tried the white sibau a handful of times and it's solid slightly above average white from my experience with it (and other whites from other vendors, many of which were duds, and basically just like weak greens). And I tried the super green the other day, only once so far, but it too seemed slightly above average. If the other 2 I got were as good as the first 2 then I'm satisfied for sure, and if they are better, then I'll definitely consider it a win.

Thanks for the reviews, Law M. I started ordering from MitraMan just a few weeks ago and really like everything I've tried - White JK, White Elephant, Green Thai, and Supergreen. Looking forward to getting more from him but just have way too much leaf at the moment!
