Wow. Just took a sample of Texas Fam Harvests' Magic MD and wow. Feeling an excited euphoria, similar to a Fused Flora Kapuas strain (those feel like being strapped into a jet seat during takeoff), but more emotional than physical.

Batches like this are few and far between for me, even if TFH is a premiere vendor, I have a picky chemical makeup.

I'm so happy to read this review of the Magic Md - I ordered a kilo of this mast Sunday. I have never ordered from TFH so I am totally stoked about getting my order! I will definitely be reviewing the kilos I bought as I try them.

I was fortunate to be part of his latest batch of testing and he sent a small sample of this along with the actual test samples. I absolutely loved it too and therefore ordered some during this event!

I don't get a lot of euphoria on this one but I really enjoy it too. I notice awhile after I take it that even though I don't really "feel" it, I'm suddenly just in a great mood with a little more energy. Took me a few burns to get there too.

I will say much better burn for me personally with the Wild green Prem MD - if magic doesn't hit for you, I'd suggest trying that one. It was def very stimulating and nice for a good morning/afternoon burn

Wild Harvest Green PMD but it's also simulating so it's not one to take to chill.
Also they just added Wild Green Hulu Kapuas which was an older one, but this one has a slightly different number at the end which I believe means it's from the same trees but a different harvest, and probably a little different from the last, but the last version of this one was amazing, it's also on the mid to upper-mid side.
Old School Red Borneo- great for nighttime.
Great Bali of Fire, heavy yet slightly stimulating and potent.
30 Year Wild Red TFH which is a very well balanced red for anytime.
I'm sure there's plenty more but these are the ones that really gave me the smiles. Happy hunting \m/

Agreed on that FF Kapuas strain too. Love the gold and yellow and green together.

I had a similar experience. From the word magic I was expecting intense sedation and euphoria. I felt a great mood boost but relatively minor ‘intoxication’. However, I learned a long tome ago… trust tfh and give it a few times to work it’s Magic! The jury is out. I’m sure after a few more tries it will click. That’s the fun of the journey!

I have only tried 'magic' once. It is almost impossible not to wonder where the names come from, I tested for them and am still not sure but all in a good way. Like you said, it is part of the journey. I will try this strain again in the next few days.

As of now, might I say it is psychedelic. Someone described it as 'heady' and I never really knew what that meant. However, it clicked...it is that often uncomfortable come-up I have felt with blotter and mushrooms. It may arrive with some attached paranoia and heart rate. Main contributor to bad trips. It is probably the difference between a body and an emotional high. Some love it, some hate it...but any regular user of extracurricular activities knows the feeling well.

Am I correct in identifying 'heady' and this particular strain as psychedelic?

All of that rambling aside, I am soooo impressed with my selections and know that whatever the TFH team deemed a useful name will deliver spectacularly in one way or another. Look here now, it is already an active conversation.
