TFH Open Event Standouts

Post by HeatherLelane »

I've never written one of these before but I can't help myself with these two. Lazy Sundae and Wild Harvest Green PMD. Man oh man oh man oh MAN.

Lazy Sundae isn't sleepy to me like it is for most. It reminds me of a "green red" in that it has AMAZING mood boost. It also has all the warm fuzzies you want in a red and is just the PERFECT "I can't afford an island vacation so Ima do this instead" and honestly, it's a REAL close runner up to a watching-the-sun-set-on-a-Maui- beach feeling. I can't think of a pill or drink or setting that can put me in the mood this does. Also I suffer from EXTREME neck pain. My neurosurgeon says I have the "neck of an 80 year old" (I'm 43) because I apparently have "aggressive arthritis" and bone spurs in it. I get surgery on it the end of summer. Today was bad. The worst in a long time, and it was GONE after taking this. Honestly a 10/10 and my favorite strain of all time. Yep. I said it.

Wild Harvest Green PMD is one of my top 2 of all TFH greens now. Pretty high spec with a mood and energy boost at a level I just rarely get. This will definitely be my Monday morning go to strain. Especially when we go back to the office. I can't imagine anything what could bring me down when I'm on this. If my life had a soundtrack it would just be "Eye of the Tiger" on repeat while burning this. Maybe just a few tracks of "Bohemian Rhapsody" added in.

And now that I've dated myself, I'll bow out but I'll leave you with this. I've tested for TFH a couple times and took them up on their offer to use my survey results to predict strains I would like this time. I know they have some sort of algorithm for this but have no clue what it is. Not only did I get to put my order in before anybody else during the event (as a non member), 7 out of 8 hit great for me with 2 of them making my new Top 3. And usually that ratio is much closer to 1:3. Yes, even with TFH. That's a HUGE jump. So just a suggestion for those who may want an edge on recommendations: test and fill out the surveys. You get A LOT out of it besides a few free grams of our leaf.

TFH kicks butt! I'm very lucky as they made me a member last year randomly (very thankful for that and them in general).

The thing with TFH and me is that I'm a bit too seasoned of a kratom user, so most kratom doesn't give me the warm fuzzies or anything, but TFH has ZERO bad batches.

With other vendors I sometimes get bunk batches. Never has happened with TFH, and I've gotten to try just about everything they have for sale.

All in all, hands down my favorite vendor. I like to switch it up and try others too, but they stick out, and when sharing kratom with friends who are new users, they agree TFH shines over the others they've tried. They love it.

I agree TFH truly shines in all aspects of the kratom world, from sourcing to the end product, they’re professional. I’m happy to have taken part in these events. If it were not for them i’m sure i’d still be struggling finding quality leaf. That being said here’s some of my favs from my order

Lazy Sundae: This one knocks it out of the park, potent and vibrant in appearance and feels. A constant state of well-being and satisfaction. A warm wave of relaxation kicks in pretty quickly and leaves you feeling relaxed and sedated at the end. A low dose is all you need for a good daytime red, great for focusing and calming your nerves.

Green Muna: Is Excellent. Probably my favorite from the bunch, strong and euphoric energy. Very balanced in regards to body and mind, it def fires on all cylinders. Once in a while there’s one of those batches that just blend well with your personal chemistry, this is it.

Ha! Crazy. Funny how Super Green Muna MIR-6 (?) is getting loads of talk here but I don't hear anything about that one. Sounds like it must be the same farmer and drying style, just newer batch. Maybe it is that much better though and that's why it gets the "Super". :D

I went back for that Lazy and it was down to 100g bags. Then today I saw it's gone and I almost cried. I haven't gotten my confirmation email yet so I'm pretty sure it's out of reach. Just an unbelievable strain.

Yeah I'm getting stocked to the point I can start giving samples of theirs to friends wanting to try it. I have loads but am starting to feel bad at this point giving my FB vendor leaf even to newbies anymore.

I will be posting frequent reviews of TFH strains as I try them because, thanks to this community & the erudite posts by the TFH crew themselves, I (Thank God!) made a much bigger order than I ever have at one time from any vendor. I ordered 4 kilos- 2 whole, 2 half, and 4 250g bags- and 4 100g bags.

I was a little surprised to see "this is a substitution" stickers on 3 of my 4 100g bag orders- These were the strains I attempted to procure-

100G Red Ryder Riau: A7-16C
100G Sunrise Suma: MUK-SD7c
100G: Traditional Green Hulu: A-B17
100G Deep Jungle White Bali: WM-A12

And these were the 100g bags I ended up receiving:

Traditional Green Hulu: I tried this one but I'm going to refrain from reviewing it yet until I give it a second go around. It was very good though.

Top-shelf Green MD: haven't tried this one yet. I'm very excited to do so however. From what I've read about it it's going to be phenomenal.

Sapphire Sunda SSV 2: Just trying this right now 😂 Hence my inspiration to write a semi-lengthy post! Hehe. For me, this strain offers a remarkably cerebral, potent, creeping experience, with calmness and euphoria steadily climbing in unison. I'll come back to this later after a few more tries.

And now- the legendary, astonishing Lazy Sundae: W O W!
I'm a little sad it's already sold out, but sooo thankful I scored a bag! Truly phenomenal, for my chemistry this strain is nearly perfect in terms of slooow happy contentment in a red. Extremely good pain reduction. And soporific beyond belief. I conked out into an incredibly deep, potent slumber.

My favorite thing about kratom is when it inspires incredible dreams. Depending on any number of variables, including when I wake up and where I am in the dream, kratom gives me the most astonishingly vivid dreams. Such was the case last night thanks to Lazy Sundae. I often ask people, "what is your favorite part about being alive? Mine is being asleep and dreaming."
"WhY aRe YoU sO dePreSseD?!" they often reply. The thing is, I'm not- with dreaming, I'm allowed to experience a magical different reality every single night completely created in my own imagination?! It's nature's ultimate miracle!

That's it for my current update. I will be back with more detailed reviews soon.

Can anybody confirm if Lazier Sundae is the test sample Red 407? If it is he is not kidding about it being the slower cousin. I take Lazy Sundae during the day easy. If red 407 and Lazier Sundae are the same strain, no way (at least for me, I know it will hit everyone differently). I hope this can be confirmed, I ordered some anyway because it still is great if it is and if it is not I am sure it is still great lol.

Omg...Gramblor...that is me too! I absolutely adore dreaming. Since childhood I’ve had the most vivid cinematic dreams, detailed dream recall and can often become lucid within my dreams. I feel you about this... a magical dreamful sleep is such a beautiful aspect of life. I don’t know why more people aren’t completely fascinated by it. I liken it to being able to live & experience alternate dimensional realities. It’s quite lovely. I hadn’t really connected the kratom with enhanced dreaming but it’s possible 🤔 sometimes if I accidentally take the wrong kind at night it’s harder to switch my mind off for that deeper sleep but perhaps with the right night strains there is a more dreamy element to them. I’m gonna experiment.
Btw, keep a dream journal! Helps develop your dream recall plus it’s cool to look back on/See where you’ve been

All you dreamers...there is(was) a culture somewhere in central america that thought the dream world was actually reality and this physical world is the dreamstate..I did a very quick google search but could not find reference to them...and sadly I can not remember the name of these people....perhaps their name will come to me tonight when I dream...

I recently tested for TFH and Red 407 was one that I really liked! So I tried to order it and I was told that it didn’t pass testing and it wasn’t available. Bummer.

Are you guys sure its the kratom? I taken it for over 7 years and no lucid dreaming, only time i can recall dreaming lucid when i was heavy drinker of Guayusa leaf tea. I have a feeling there is something else here in the mix. Unless you are both are originals of astral travel when you sleep which i read on it. I wish i was, thats when you able to control your dreams. Or least experience extremely vivid dreams. Just cause you guys experience it it does not mean everyone does.

More on dreaming, did you ever consider everything we have manifested in this reality, there is another dimension and reality that any thought is possible and when we are in physical we well bucket all created pool of thoughts into this reality. Just cause you dont see it , it does not mean it doesn't exist. You can also call it subconscious is your fishing pole for it. I think people who understand this, avoid all the nasty horror movies and negative thinking. It always starts with one cigarette until your thoughts become a horror story. Eh, just felt like getting a little philosophical.

This reminds me of Green Thai from MM, you take it, and one or two hours you realize how good your feeling. Very social. I think these batches should get names like creepers. Sadly not many talk about them. Everyone just considers below average if you dont feel anything in half an hour. I am still digging a lot the Green Thai from MM when i just want to feel normal, no euphoria or to much energy or to relaxing. It just gives nice very clean normal feel, maybe very little euphoric. hard to describe. Wonder if thats how Red 407 was?

It just gives nice very clean normal feel, maybe very little euphoric. hard to describe. Wonder if thats how Red 407 was?

Oh I take notes lol. For me. at least, it was not. Just want to say these notes are taken real time while I am testing so may seem all over the place, but you'll get the gist. You will also see how things changed over time for me. Also know my listed spec numbers. If I do not fall asleep, then 1 is never given, kind of like how 10 on the overall scale is difficult to achieve. But, this was slow for sure.

"Slow definitely lower spec. Relaxing good pain relief. Definitely want to chill actually made me borderline sleepy a 2-3 on spec. Know for a fact this is exactly what some people look for in Kratom but this just isn’t for me. Do not like to feel sleepy. Lasted 3-4 hours. On the other hand I am conflicted I kind of liked the way it made me want to do nothing haha. Lazy Sunday strain? This would be a great red specifically for chilling doing nothing. Survey done. BUY MAYBE ."

Oh Bubba its completely opposite of Green thai from mm. The problem is if someone dose everyday and multiple times.. Then they i would say will never experience true feelings of low dose euphoric feeling with out the sleepy in it. I recently gained more grams per dose and i can def experience the sleepy in TFH reds compare to low balling. But low balling feels like nothing. So Tolerance peaked, and if i want to feel something it will have to be 4-6 grams of reds. So that less is more is out of the picture unless i take a nice break right now. But i cant, i am going trough shit in life right now so for now more is better for me. For sure lazy sundae sample put me into 2 hour nap But it was an awesome nap.

I think if someone dont want to experience the sleepy part, get the ratio right and more of the green in the mix or perhaps a white one.

at this point i honestly think its which ever more you have it will over power. Problem is there are some greens that can also put you to sleep so know your batches.

I love the MM Green Thai. It coincidently is the single best mixing strain I have ever come across (not that I habitually mix, but just saying). I took a quick tolerance break in between the latest TFH testing and the open event. It was not a usual break for me as I usually go down to nothing and stay there for weeks. This one was more of getting my daily usage down to a third of what I was currently was using at that time. It did help enormously though when trying new leaf I have never tried before.

I recently tested for TFH and Red 407 was one that I really liked! So I tried to order it and I was told that it didn’t pass testing and it wasn’t available. Bummer.
Bummer is right. At first I also did not like it but it grew on me over a couple of hours and I really felt it had a place in my rotation.
This reminds me of Green Thai from MM, you take it, and one or two hours you realize how good your feeling. Very social. I think these batches should get names like creepers. Sadly not many talk about them. Everyone just considers below average if you dont feel anything in half an hour. That's TFH's Magic MD for me. I don't "feel" anything, just notice a couple hours later that I'm in a great mood. So it took several doses for me to make the connection.

Take a look at today's update on his thread. You'll be very happy.
I wanna try the lazier sundae!!!!!

TFH Red Muna is amazing just like his other reds. I honestly think TFH has best reds, they just work very well for me especially stressful days, Muna kept me nice and calm, very content and peacfull with a chill/relaxing in the backgrounds. I mean i am sure there is other stand out from other vendors that do couch locked feel if you get lucky but TfH reds are all around very very balanced, perfect to unwind you day and kick your feet up and spit some seeds while you enjoy some show. You could easily work on muna as well, did not make me sleepy.

That sounds wonderful. It's hard for me to find relaxing reds because for them to be strong enough to feel they tend to be faster. Have you tried the new Mello Yellow? It sounds a lot like that. The perfect yellow in that it took away all my anxiety and I could honestly just sit and chill on it but not feel lethargic either.

to me most TFH seem very similar on red, like the lazy sundea or wild sumper, sure they got their own signature batch like some more relaxing then other but if you take a bit extra for reds you can feel it for sure very relaxing, everyon knows small dose works as an energy boost. i started doing 4-6 grams and way better relaxing experience. Gets your mind off all the negative news. Like you said i experience zero lethargic from TFH. Thats why i love them so much. It feels like all of it is very chill mellow. Anyone who got TFH reds will enjoy it. It's the end of the world, FK less is more! enjoy it peeps... best advice . Just know how to taper if have too. I wish they’d get an extract form of the BL powder, even a 5:1 one. It’s two trains just to get to 5 grams. Lots of plant matter going down for that. Their magnolia bark is 20:1 and I barely need a quarter teaspoon. I like buying my alternatives from there because of their 5x100g bags deal.

I have some ff blue lotus coming in, isn’t it an extract , or are you saying a more extracted version ? Could you steep the powder like a tea to get the effects without the plant matter?

Yes, it's technically an extract but not a strong one. I have flowers to make the tea. For lucid dreaming it's recommended 5 - 10 g which is 2 - 4 teaspoons which is just kind of a lot for me

Oh okay thanks! yeah I get that, to dose leaf and 10 g of lotus would be a lot to consume. If I like I'll have to try the petals as well. Lucid dreaming sounds fun :D

It feels like inner warmth feel good sensation. What you aiming for sounds you might need some adderall and 3-4 grams of muna. A friend who is on adderall and had Red Muna had a very good experience. But i dont knnow getting blissfull can mean different things to people.

That combo is, hands down, the best buzz you can get. Green Koala and Premium Red Thai by Koality were my favorites to go with that script. Absolute euphoria. They haven't been hitting together for me lately though so I keep taking longer and longer breaks and going back to see if it's working yet and no. But that was awesome for a long time.
