Discussion slow?

Post by INSENSE3 »

Hi!

Hope everyone is doing well..

Just curious if you are noticing fewer posts / less activity on the forum here and / or kratom related discussions?

Maybe everyone went back to Reddit?

Any other possibilities?

Thank you for any comments from other perspectives,

Laurie

Yeah, it's been a bit slow but it is summer, hopefully people are out doing fun things.

Or working now that things have opened back up. For now. :?

Thank you for the topic correction, hh!

Yes, I have seen mewe, RhinoRemedies and that’s what I have been noticing and wondering if maybe I need to get a bus transfer to a new location where everyone is!? I’m not complaining - my favorite folks are around a lot and everyone makes themselves available if I just text or email. Thank you for the perspective/observations.

Hopefully everyone is busy at work, for sure! AND washing their hands frequently! TGIF for anyone who actually works business hours and days.

Based on site analytics, traffic isn't down. In fact, we continue to grow as time marches on. As for actual posting/discussion, I haven't really noticed it much slower than normal. There's only so much you can discuss about kratom before topics become repetitive.

There are some people on Guilded and I think some are still on Discord. But from what I’ve seen that site is very limited and only a few people post to it

Sometimes i wonder why you guuys act like you dont know whats going on. People are in survival mode, they need to think how to survive and live. More and more people Internets are off to save money, sure you can connect somewhere on wifi. I visited my GF for the week, she seems doing fine but all 4 of her cats are very sick, i didnt even bother to ask if pets got vaccinated too. One cat pulled over 10 K $$$ already with multiple surgery's. Common sense to feed better food for cats is simply off. And of course she eats from dollar general and her own health is not the best. When i stayed over, 2 of her cats puked around me where i slept. She blamed it on me that when new people come they dont feel comfortable. When in fact i know its not that because cats loved me and my petsys. One of the cats so skinny i thought it will die soon. I mean its not like they dont have money, they sure do but i gave up talking about food to her and refuse to talk about vaccines since as soon as i came in, CNN was on all day. And i am trying to make money to survive right now. Thats why you wont see me here often anymore. Sure i might stop by and say hi and do some reviews but not as much anymore.

EDIT: nvm I thought better of it.
EDIT 2: actually wait no, because these claims are getting really absurd. To address them all would keep me here for hours at this point, but to hone in on one in particualr: household pets are not being given the covid vaccine. Good lord.

Great news about the site update supporting emoticons!

So sorry to hear your theory on the reasons for less discussion and I do agree there is only so much to say as per an earlier suggestion as well.

I hope the girlfriend situation improves, BRAVE777. Could you find someone with any LESS in common with you?! Maybe keep one eye 👁 open while you two proceed (sarcastic humor)…but seriously, life is much more enjoyable when shared philosophy about food/nutrition AND the cat issues are more aligned. I certainly wouldn’t blame YOU for a pet becoming ill. Pets puke. They just do, from time to time. Feeding them proper nutrients is top priority at my house, too. The neighbor cats on either side of us eat at our place because the food is better and they RARELY puke now. They show up between 7-9AM, again at NOON EXACTLY and finally between 5 and 5:30PM! 3 squares at our place and NOT touching that stuff with food coloring and preservatives their owners buy.

I’m on a dog sitting assignment and one of these pugs puked immediately after eating dinner on my first hours of arrival. THEN ATE IT - AGAIN 🤮

Your general message of everyone being on their last dime and last limb with stress and health and finance issues is SPOT ON! It’s taken a toll on me, physically and I’m not even negatively affected by the circumstances compared to most people.

Like you, I’m hoping this resolves itself before society begins having, “who has the worst PTSD” contests around the globe.

Hang in there, friend. Thank you for commenting!

I do so love your posts. They are almost always a guaranteed smile and warm fuzzy feelings. Many of us appreciate your posts so don’t you stop posting either.
Any recommendations on a good healthy cat food ? Timmy only gets bottled water but I’ve never found a cat food that I’m 100% happy with

Hi MycatTimmy!

What a sweet reply! I forget the name of the food, but it’s nothing terribly special or fancy. Avocado green bag, original formula and I can’t remember if for indoor cats or outdoor because there is one of each, so that decision is new each time I shop for it, lol. Runs about $6 bucks and change. I’m not home to look right now (Mom is covering for me with feeding the cats who HAVE NICE HOMES - except one neighbor asked us to feed one for a few days one time and it had all those food colorings in it, so I figured it’s no wonder they eat plain brown food at our place). I’ll get back to you on that.

I hope everyone here has submitted positive stories about how kratom has helped you for necessary help keeping kratom from being banned globally (talk about economic devastation for Indonesians! So awful to imagine). Here is a link to the place we need comments sent to:

No gripes just good stuff, please! Go to www.ProtectKratom.org today! THANK YOU KINDLY!

Wow - I noticed the same thing. Seems dead around these parts. You just wait until TFH advertizes the next open event. It'll be a huge # of posts & comments.

Sorry to hear of folks having income problems. This COVID-19 really screws up everyone. I know what it's like to fret about bills & stuff. My first year of marriage, we were spending $1000 a month MORE THAN our income was. I was pretty stressed. We reused foil, plastic bags, anything & everything we could. Never spent over $2.00 a pound for meat, which limited us to chicken & hamburger. We didn't have a TV, & when the people in my building at work found out, they wanted to buy us one. But we enjoyed being free of the tube. We never turned on the heater because.... we couldn't afford the cost. In late December, a power company technician showed up at our door & demanded to be let in to see if we had bypassed their meters. The first thing the guy said after he stepped inside was " It's incredibly cold in here!" My wife & I both had our heavy down jackets & hiking boots on to stay warm. Finally the guy asked why we did that & we told him. As soon as he left my wife & I had a big laugh, not only at him, but I'd bought a bargain basement Christmas tree that had 3 branches, if you counted the trunk, & it looked sooo very bad. But you learn some valuable lessons in times like that, like how important it is to not waste anything, & what a blessing it is to have a frugal mate who will stand by your side no matter what happens.

Good reminders on how much we really don’t NEED. For those with chronic health issues, you can stretch kratom in numerous ways and less frequent use is actually considered to be more effective.

I’ve been 🙏🙏🙏 praying with gratefulness (not posting on religion) for all I have AND THE PEOPLE ARE THE IMPORTANT PART. Nothing like a global pandemic/apocalypse to teach us how to be finicky about how we spend our time, money, resources and WHO WITH.

Relationships have really evolved into having EVEN MORE meaning for me! I’ve never taken my loved ones for granted, but I’m even more choosy about how I spend my time and with whom. I’m SO GLAD I had the ball rolling and located myself in the most meaningful place on earth (with Mom). Who knew we might need to ride out waves of global catastrophes and how LUCKY we have managed to remain with a roof over us - however flimsy.

Thanks for posting about your appreciation of togetherness!
