ILK / I Love Kratom

So I've been trying to register an account for I love kratom just to see what the buzz is all about but it says that I've already been banned / my username is blocked. Then when I open up the contact us page to ask why it asked for all my information and then it has a captcha wishes like a captcha I have never seen before. I can't possibly decipher it 41 some of some of the letters are gray and some of them are black some of them are totally unreadable some of them are symbols or backwards letters and others have letters on top of letters wish makes reading them impossible or to figure out which letter goes first. So now I can't even contact them to ask why I've been banned. Is this intentional? Is there another email I can use to ask them personally why I've been banned or what I can do to become unbanned? this is just one of many grapes I have with this form but I would really like to find out why things are this way. It's frustrating to say the least and it makes me wonder if becoming a member is even worth the time and effort. The captcha lets you refresh andñm.ets you choose another captcha which is equally as in decipherable and unreadable so even if I change the captcha I'm still in the same boat. Has anyone else experienced the same problem? If so how did you go about fixing it and is it even worth it in the first place. It's like they make becoming a member very difficult and that seems to be the opposite of what you want in a website. Or maybe it's just because I did something wrong and not know it in and being punished 4 breaking a rule I was not aware of which is the whole point me contacting them to figure out what that was. Compared to this site registering on i l k is a cakewalk.. maybe it is that way on purpose but does anyone have any ideas as far? Any ideas or input would certainly be welcome thank you

For me and many others ILK is a warm and welcoming community.
Because that’s the first forum I joined and the most active I participate on, def a little bummed about the weak comment .. but so be it lol

Have you tried setting up a new account ? It is pretty old as far as tech design goes ... I’ll see if I can find out how you can access your account or start a new one . There’s always room for more kratom enthusiasts, always !

I know there’s a funny thing when posting a www. Site .... detects it as spam ! That’s a bit frustrating for sure .!

I’m sorry about the complication with that site ... but it really is a wholesome and friendly bunch ... I’ll try and find out some info and share my findings .

I'm not making any judgment on the user's there or is it the people that post their I just thought the sign up process was ridiculous and nearly impossible. I don't know how long it would have taken me 2 make it through or if I would have just given up after a long time but I was at it for a good 20 minutes before I started to hell with it. I don't have a problem with old school websites but something needs to be done about that captcha way it's just way too hard to guess the letters Castor catches are supposed to be relatively easy or at least have pictures were you pick out certain items this in a group of pictures they're not they're not supposed to because art student paintings where you're supposed to guess if there's letters in English or what language or whatever that was supposed to be. if you haven't tried to sign up I encourage you to just to have the experience of seeing how difficult it is. I'm trying to think of something that's similar to how hard it is but I really can't this is easily the most difficult and strange way of making sure your users are really users and not spam boss I've ever come across. I'm honestly surprised they have as many members as they do unless it's something you should be different or something changed or something to that effect would as it stands right now I don't see them having any new drivers whatsoever, not to mention this whole fiasco happened because it said I was banned and had no idea why soon join in order to find out I had to fill out this crazy form with the captcha that was impossible to fill out, why not just have a simple contact email or contact form that you can ask you a question and they can get back to you, it's so absurd that I feel like I'm I must have you gotten something wrong because no site would be designed by that who isn't a complete sadist

I have no idea why it is that way ... don’t remember it being so hard when I registered a while back .. they have done some revamping on the site and maybe( I can’t think of a reason why ) some new tech help that made what should be a easy flowing process into a frustrating one. I’m sorry that is the experience you had with it . Id be frustrated as well!

Here’s the real shit kicker lol... now I can’t log in hahahahahababahahahahahaha... Been a member for about two years, I go to login and it says failed to authenticate did that like 6-7 more times… I look at one of my posts that I had put up and instead of it showing me as a longtime member shows me as a visitor…Definitely slightly bummed about this… I’m on that community site every day for a long time now, I just wonder what the heck happened? Anyways thought you’d all get a kick out of that..Don’t know if it’s some technical glitch or if the KGB got to them, either way kind of sucks

oh my plan was always to stick with double n it's just good to know your competition and I like to see other people's opinions and what not to. overall I think double m just has a better look and design and feel to it as well to, especially on my phone

Well hell, everyone has a personal preference or connection to one thing or the other , I’m partial to ILK because that’s where my roots grew into. Stoked you folks are all about double m, I love and enjoy this community as well. Id like to be part of both . Acejestey...I def don’t plan on leaving here , unless I get booted from this zone as well lol, I enjoy the threads and appreciate the folks who contribute to this forum . I just would like to know what happened... baffled by this is all.

I have an update.
I was able to create an account without going through all that banned nonsense and doing the captcha, but once I got through and my account got activated they never sent me an e-mail with the confirmation/activation link. And I know this for a fact because I know how to look through my spam folder and work my email app properly...they just did not send it. and seeing as the only way to contact them would be to go to the whole captcha shenanigan again I'm going to call this one a day. Sorry I love kratom but I don't love you that much.

Oh well. I remember checking out ILK, over 2+ years ago and it was clearly a restricted, vetted vendor deal.. idk the details but it sure looked like Pay For Play? The mods on ILK, promoted a few high-price vendors like PDO (Pharmacy Drop Out) and.. sure appeared like they got kratom & did shill "reviews" on their vetted group while others banned from participating ??

Oh the truth of the matter is anybody can post a review that’s a member just has to be in the right section under the right heading… There are vetted vendors, but you can review anyone and post it there… And even with this little glitch and frustration with me not being able to login… , they’re a great community forum that helped so many people find relief, teaching them how to take Kratom to the most benefit... so I do think it’s kind of lame to knock so hard on the forum that’s done a lot of good for so many people… Just food for thought !

ILk welcomes everyone and anyone , the problem is where the tech stuff gets sticky , why easy for some to sign up and not for others ? Idk... we are all given the right to gravitate to this or to that , I’ve personally have learned a lot and met some amazing folks there . Nothing elitist or judgmental ...

That site was ridiculous. I wasn’t impressed by a single vendor I tried from there that was a recommended or a “approved” vendor. Guys like PDO were vastly overpriced with very meh kratom. When I found the amazing vendors recommended here like Smiley, MitraMan, TFH etc and went to tell folks there about them my posts either got deleted or were redacted. Like Ballz said definitely a pay for play deal. The mods behind ILK and the folks running AKA are everything that is wrong with the kratom industry atm. Instead of recommending quality vendors with reasonable prices they put their own personal profiteering in front of doing what’s right for the community.

I’m a new moderator on ILK , but I’ve been a member for over two years . Sorry you feel that way Nerdyninja. We are all about helping each other at ILK, supporting the vendors who are approved by the quality , customer service and reasonably priced products they provide. And any vendor that’s ILK approved or not can be mentioned in a review . No bias , we want to support all the vendors excelling in quality and customer service . There’s def more higher priced ones out there , but most fall in the 80-100$ kilo range . I’m not a business owner so I can speculate that there’s a bit more over head where tests and paying employees are involved with the cost. I’ve tried a good number of the vendors there and I’ve had more satisfaction with my purchases than not ... whats great for one, not so bueno for another . But good kratom is good kratom , def not a one size fits all! Even what’s great one day doesn’t hit as awesome the following or other random day . I purchase from plenty of other vendors these aren’t ILK approved , some hits and some misses as well.

I’m there to help, get help, learn and be part of a wholesome community, they feel like my extended family .If you have any suggestions on how the community can be better , I’d really appreciate to hear your thoughts , also hearing what you mean by mods and the people running the site are the ones that’s wrong with community right now ? I dont get paid for contributing my time helping to answer questions , if I can help .. I do , no money given to me to keep safety and integrity chugging along . Ofcourse it’s a yucky feeling when you describe a special community that is dear to me but understand ILk isn’t for everyone .

I’ve been wanting to post on this thread for a while now , life’s been busy and crazy , for everyone I’m sure ! But wanted to respond to Nerdninja,

The thing I hope for in the bigger kratom community no matter the forum of your preference, that we recognize we are all in this together , we all make up the community together . Keeping this miraculous leaf legal and accessible is a united cause most if not all of us share .

I’m happy for places like ILK, DMH discord servers and the like . Very grateful for the general positive interactions all driven by good intentions ... but there’s always a couple that don’t follow the rules aren’t being a good member again no matter the flooring with your preference and that’s what my duties are at ILK.... keeping things moving in a productive and encouraging way and safeguarding that.

It’s a crazy as all hell time , and I hope your all getting through this virus time better than not ,

I’ll come back to add to this thread , but for now , thank you for being here and look forward to some feedback , constructive feed back I hope

well to be fair, ILK started a few years ago, before we did the Vendor Price study on Reddit - ALL forums, especially Facebook groups, were tightly run so Mods could shill for free kratom/ in exchange for advertising.. A few vendors, started their own Groups on FB.

So Reddit r/kratom sub was started by a vendor ('Get Kratom') but, became the first open, free market, Internet forum.. We checked 200 vendors and stacked 'em up price wise.. made public the stats/ median and Average prices for USA.. and word got out these fucks were paying $30 per Kg from Indo and selling for $400 - outrageous. Price gouging.

Ripoffs taking advantage of ignorant n00bs at Retail stores, STILL continues today ( Head shop Ounces for $22 ) and.. it's been 5 years of assholes becoming kratom millionaires in the Age Of Trump. Many big-money vendors did donate to AKA, so now.. as Democrats control Congress, and weed is about to become legal.. AKA goes state by state, promoting a 'Regulation' scheme to reward the scammers.

Big corporations have moved in, and forced small Mom & Pop growers and dealers.. Out of business! Go figure, right? Big surprise. So much money at stake.. wow Ballz, i seen few video's EX cops own weed stores in legal states. To think he was arresting people for it making bank and on top now sells it to make even bigger bank. And its mostly people who are on inside and were against weed that open up weed stores. I assume same thing will happen to kratom, and exactly what AKA is doing, promoting scammers who over price it. We all know all vendors are not checking for contamination . what they doing is screwing people over. Let me ask, do vendors check every Kilo they send you??? Hell no. that one kilo can kill you, there is risks every where, and even FDA approved pills thousands of people die. At least we know in Indonesia kratom grows naturally, that means all kratom is organic and dont need to be told to people. All you need is sun and warm climate with water near by. Checking 1 time for a big shipment every month is a big ass FAT joke. Best testers are people them self's, if few people call out and vendor doesn't take it down that specific batch then they should get in trouble. And big vendors never tests all batches. So i never understood this scam pyramid to suck more money from hard working Americans.

Not to dig up an old thread, but this is exactly why I left.
I bought so much "verified" bunk kratom that was hyped over at ILK that I started to put two and two together and concluded that they were freaking shills and it was pay to play.

We are all part of the kratom community, and each forum is a diff branch off the main trunk . United we stand for kratom ? Hope so ! I apologize if i came off in an offensive manner, but i stick to my opinion. As far as the "don't be a part of it", that's exactly why i left. I didn't want to be a part of it anymore.
I liked the people at ILK, but i also feel like there's some shadiness going on, unfortunately. There are some reputable vendors there, but i have no idea how this one vendor ever made it on ILK's vendor list, let alone got pushed as heavy as he was with his inferior quality.

I bought from Releaf LLC and it was pushed SO hard on ILK. that was obviously bunk. It tasted like smoke from a firecracker. i bought a 10 way split kilo which apparently was at no additional cost and was even advertised. I called the dude who owned the company (Joe) myself and even talked to him! Every single bag tasted the same and had all inferior quality and i even felt weird from it. How does one buy a 10 way split kilo to feel nothing from any of them? Not just that, but some even made me feel slightly off. I'd be hard pressed to even call it kratom.

Releaf is Horrible! I also bought a split kilo all were 50g. Not a single one did a thing.
