Anyone into K-pop?

This should probably fall under music, but I am so obsessed with k-pop's BLACKPINK it would be borderline unhealthy...but I do not feel well often. This band somehow managed to reach this indie punk postpunk riotgrrrl vinyl-head and shake me to the core. It literally makes me feel physically better...I think because I am so happy. This was an unlikely marriage, but I am fan-girling the hell out of it.

Shot in the dark & nerding out forever,

surprisingly no one listens to kpop in korea, it's an exported product to americans and europeans like this guy:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_MgAeIkGTQ.

My friend's wife does listen to it sometimes, she's the only adult korean (from korea) i know that does so, and he loves her, so he lets the radio play.

two decades ago the powerful businessmen in korea came together with a plan on enrich the country via media - music and cinema and television and other industries like cars (hyundai, kia, ect.)

also the korean culture was manipulated to come up with black and white days to complement valentine's day, it's very interesting.

yup. ideally USA would have mandatory military service, but at the size of the country now, there's no way to implement it. Israel is another small country which has required army service, so cool, to learn to defend your country physically.

I'm against war in general, but some areas of the world need military forces.
