She's mine now, I adopted her over the weekend... a lot of her personality was like Mei's (my first dog and service dog who passed a few years ago) and I have a weakness for pits. She has a red/gold coat and honey/golden eyes. She's a little timid, walking with tucked tail when we get a distance from the house, but when she gets the zoomies, well, she's like a different dog, jumping on my and my dad early in the morning.

I got an Embark DNA kit, swabbed her cute mouth cheeks, mailed it in, three weeks later, BAM! A flood of information on her in different areas, but the breed she was was the most I wanted to find out about, since I got her at a rescue:

American Pitbull Terrier 48%
Rhodesian Ridgeback 18.6%
Greyhound 9.9%
remaining 23.5% mutt is suspected to come from mixed German Shepherd, Border Collie, Boxer, American Staffordshire Terrier breeds

There's an option you can message people (some locally, some in other states) whose dogs are related to mine! Cause of the ways dogs reproduce, the DNA can change rapidly, it's really interesssting!

Supah!

Wow, she's a beautiful dog!! I wish you many, many years together. Sihaya is a beautiful name.. and it means?

I have 2 dogs and 4 cats. Oliver is my weird lil mix, Gunner is a yellow lab. And the cats are diva Siberian cats.

If I could, I would give this a thumbs up or a heart. She sounds great.
