I don’t know if any of you have even heard of him, but he’s a comedian and political commentator on YouTube. I’ve been to a couple of his live shows and at the recent one, I gave him a bunch of kratom that I had capped myself. It was a variety of strains - a couple from Mitra Man, Yellow Vietnam from Smiley, White BB from hrva, and Premium Bali from DG. He had never tried it and mentioned cbd and needing help for pain and depression.

Anyway, a few weeks ago, he finally tried some and talked about it at a live show and he has been talking about it on his YouTube show as well. He held up the bag I gave him too... thought it was cool. On the live show someone said it was like a Vicodin, unfortunately, but otherwise this is good exposure.

Another political YouTuber, Kyle Kalinski of Secular Talk, takes kratom and talks about it a lot. Joe Rogan also talks about it often.

I've never heard of Jimmy Dore but that is awesome. Good on you for spreading the word...err not just the word but the leaf too!

Yeah, I figured it was a long shot anyone heard of him, but he did have a Comedy Central stand-up special years ago, and he was a regular on TYT. D-list celebrity at best.

Yup I've known about and followed him for several years. He's great. He and Jordan Chariton were my favorites on The Young Turks (TYT). Jordan in particular has done great and extensive reporting on things like the Flint, Michigan lead crisis. I don't watch TYT much anymore as it seems once they grew into a more popular news outlet they stopped being an Independent (or at least became more biased than in earlier year) source of news. At least in my view. I used to love TYT and watch daily. Do you watch in nowadays? Has it changed much in your view?

Also agree with you about Kyle Kulinski and his network Secular Talk! Love his work. He's talked about Kratom many times and with his decent size following helps spread awareness.

I stopped watching TYT a few years ago. Russiagate has given Cenk brainworms, and I kinda hate how Anna is campaigning against Tulsi Gabbard - the only anti-war candidate in the running. They are just as bad as any other mainstream news outlet at this point. It is run as a business so they run whatever stories make them money. Cenk is still involved in promoting Justice Democrats, which is cool, but he spends most of his time talking about how bad Trump is. It’s almost as bad as Rachel Maddow. He just yells and rants about getting rid of Trump, but doesn’t understand the reason we have Trump. He is probably going to support Biden if he’s the nominee, and I can’t get behind that. As a source of news, I don’t see much value there.

I like watching very little of Jimmy Dore, (isn't he a democrat but he tries to be fair to both sides?) he seems to be very knowledgeable and I enjoy some of his input. The Young Turks are just a huge joke, have been for a long time.

Hit the nail right on the head. That's the same with most the democrats running atm. The only one who doesn't constantly spout "Trump bad" is Andrew Yang (Maybe Tulsi?) he is actually talks about the issues straight up without deferring to Trump bad each sentence.

I literally agree with everything you just said! Literally everything!!

Gabbard and Bernie are my personal favorite candidates. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I think good journalism is speaking truth to power. Based on that, Jimmy is a fantastic journalist. He was a democrat until probably 6 or 7 years ago and figured out how bad the party is. Now he is just a pragmatic leftists. He voted green in 2016. I’ve been voting third party since the 90s. The republicans are bad, but only because of how bad the democrats are. That’s sort of how Jimmy approaches the news. He’s mostly critical of Dems and the media, but also criticizes the right when appropriate. He seldom has a bad take. Also he’s entertaining.

Yang has some good ideas, but also some bad ones. I’m at least glad he will be able to contribute to the discussion at the debates.
