I completely agree CC but personally would also throw TV addiction in there as part of the root of some of that communication breakdown

So you're against keeping up with current events, all sports, and educational programming like PBS?

I get my news, current events, and educational documentaries from the internet and do not follow sports. I do watch Netflix and hulu etc....but tend to choose things to watch that are more on the alternative side.

Just listing things TV is useful for. what do you mean by television? You think the medium itself is somehow dishonest or misleading? Netflix and Hulu has a lot of the same programming

Everything, and I mean EVERY SINGLE THING that you watch on TV (and in movies too for the most part) is trying to indoctrinate you.

How is netflix/hulu different from tv tho? i mean other than commercials? i watch on demand shows on the spectrum app but not really tv except sports

How much of the "current events" are real? That's the question. I literally never watch TV. I hate that shit. When I go over a friends house, I'll notice I'm hypnotized if a TV is in the room. I'm CONVINCED something is up with the tech of TVs and the change to digital just because of how it effects me, and the general consensus is that I'm a moderately strong willed person.
