I've been watching through One Piece, the classic. Not the bad funimation dub though cause that one was terrible. Using subs since it's easier to find every episode that way.

But that isn't what this is about. Have any of you seen the anime "that time i got reincarnated as a slime?"

It has to be the most clever, plot structure i've seen in an anime in a long time. It's got a lot of video gamey elements and references, and the aesthetics are just freaking beautiful.

Anybody have any other good anime suggestions? Or favorite animes they would like to talk about?

Love anime as well. I'm not up to date with new stuff but I do love classic stuff. With family and not a lot of free time it's hard to watch anything. Some of my favs. Ghost in the Shell, Serial Experiment Lian, Cowboy Bebop, Gantz, Death Note. Tons of others. Not so known and I highly recommend is Boogiepop Phantom! Love it have the DVDs and it is one of the best use of 5.1 surround sound I have ever experienced. I have never watched anything that ever used the sounds to enhance the show on that level. I believe not all version were made in 5.1 and I don't know what the standard is now for home surround sound. It is older but it's one of my all-time favorites. I will have to try and check out That time I got reincarnated.

I loved that time I got reincarnated as a slime, and I have also watched most of the classics. Apheks242, if you haven't then you have got to read the gantz manga, the story is one of the best I have read. Some other good classics are dragonball (the one before dragon ball z), ergoproxy, hunterxhunter, and moribito.

Yeah everyone thinks I'm crazy because I prefer Dragonball instead of z. I love them both but yeah Dragonball is the one. Seen all except hunterxhunter. I'm still working now so out city is slowly getting shut down so if that happens it's going to be catch up time.

I've seen alot of those and liked most, unfortunately I could never get into devilman crybaby.

I like my hero academia. Have you seen the new movie? I haven't seen the others you listed, but I have the next 9 days off work so I will definitely check out one or two of those I love all kinds of anime, but I kind of like the horror genre over everything else. What are your top horror favorites (if you have any)?

I haven't seen the movie yet, got to check it out. I've only seen a few good ones in the horror genre that I can reccomend
Shiki (probably the best I've seen horror wise)
Parasite(not sure if that's the exact spelling but its pretty good)
Gantz( there is a series and a movie, the series doesn't finish the story but it's good, highly recommend looking up the manga and reading it if you like the anime)

I cant really think of any more good animes i have seen horror wise.

I've been meaning to check out parasite, but haven't had the chance yet. It looks really good...

Yeah seen a lot of those as well Gantz is one of my favorite ones movie as well. At Least I have a list of some new stuff now that I'm cut hours with this whole situation. Thanks for the recommendations everyone. It's been a long time since I have watched anime now having a 3 year old and my wife was never into it. But any spare time it's on.

I'm lucky there, I have always like anime, but my wife loves anime always has. She was a military brat and grew up on the VHS dragon ball in Germany. Thinking about that reminded me of
