Rhino messaged me and appears that the discord has dissapeared?

Are there still plans to host a live chat in a way where discord can't shut it down?

Dude i just saw this too. Why did that one get pulled down? I figured it would be one of the safest ones out there.

Sucks. The refuge is still up but the received a warning about vending controlled substances. Hopefully e_p will get the double m chat going soon. Really enjoyed hanging out there.

The double m server was great! So streamlined and simple and everyone was super nice. I just wonder why discord is doing all of this? Atleast we have the forum here. I know it’s not the same but we can all stay connected this way

It’s getting ridiculous!!! I guess some people have nothing better to do with their time than torment us! Sad sad people attacking people doing nothing more than congregating in a place a chatting.

Yes, it's confirmed. We are the latest in a wave of servers that have been taken down by discord.

I am trying to appeal with them since the reason they gave was the following:

Specifically for the illegal promotion and sale of controlled substances.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the reason given to the other kratom discords that were taken down as well. Just for the record, Double M has never been and will never be involved with any kind of illegal drug activity. It is against our community rules as a whole and not what we are about. In fact, we forbid any discussion of illegal drugs unless it is strictly for harm reduction purposes.

Someone is going around reporting discord servers, so my recommendation is that if you use discord to host any kind of community, that you move it off there quickly before they shut you down without warning.

We are in fact working on a double m chat that will be hosted on this website. I have to stress test it though and make sure it won't eat through the server CPU, so please be patient with me while I get it up and running. I will be inviting people slowly to test it before we open it to the public. I have no ETA on when it will be ready.

Thanks E, for the update. Community Guidelines BS - sounds like a carbon copy of Facebook FB continues to BAN kratom - everybody runs around in little "Tea Groups" being sneaky and reporting each others' groups lol

That leaves MeWe - The #1 Chat Room for kratom, numbers wise, since the Reddit BAN of 2 years ago.. Personally I'm not big on hanging out in chat rooms, but MeWe always has at least a dozen kratom groups going, on any given day.. IF you don't like the folks in one group, move to another... its that simple. Also as everyone knows.. MeWe is the #1 place for small batch Vendors. Some are "Tiny Batch" lol - sure Facebook has MORE numbers & groups.. But MeWe does not ban kratom!

We are working on a Kratom News Blog site, probably have: Articles, Videos, Reviews, Comments, possibly a Forum, but no Chat room sorry . Lets keep Independent resources open & available to help more people. Thanks for all you've done E.

So ironic, I am new to kratom and relatively new to Double M Herbals... wanted to learn how to join discord but saw this thread

Love this forum, but I am always hesitant to make forum posts (regardless of forum). I've been lurking on it sometime and only recently got brave enough to post.

Their customer support still hasn't gotten back to me about the appeal.

It's ridiculous. They just ban all these servers with ZERO proof of anything.

We must resist with absolute force in order to avoid being dictated under the shadow of corporatocracy, oligarchy, and sociopathic eugenics.

I love and miss you all. Pure compassion throughout our late server.

Maybe we can create a new discord(s) with strict enforcement of not-for-human-consumption.

We are actually in process of adding a private chatroom right here attached to the forum...

Can't wait!! With all this Corono-blah blah going on I'm about ready to say adios to all things social media till mid-summer when the "fart in the bathtub" passes....

Just heard back from discord. They said they will not be reinstating the group or my account. I asked to see the evidence, which they refuse to provide for whatever reason. Perhaps there is zero proof or evidence of us doing anything wrong, because WE WEREN'T DOING ANYTHING WRONG.

They get a few false reports (probably from the same individuals taking down other kratom groups) and just blindly act without looking into any of the claims at all.

What a joke.

This is so sad, I love just lightly chatting and chilling with y'all. Got some great recommendations recently too and had some questions about it. Is there any way to make a forum post sticky or something for when we get another discord up and running? Not sure I wanna just use forum to chat unless there's an actual chat room.

We will not be creating another discord server actually... We are in the process of building our own private standalone chatroom attached to the forum right here!! That way no one has any say what we talking about or how we choose to run things except for us Just hang tight for a bit and we will have a new, safe, and awesome place to chat once again!! Unfortunately, discord is no longer safe for kratom based chatrooms....

Doesn't mewe have a pro version as well? i mean if some members here donate few bucks we can have it running easy for a year or 2 with zero problems. I dont know but i know you have to pay for pro, if its not that bad of a price i dont mind joining.

We originally had mewe server but we did not like the platform for a variety of reasons so I highly doubt we will make a return to mewe, sorry! But, we are in the process of making our own standalone chat that no one but us will have say on how its run..... want to ensure that we dont have a replay of what is happening on discord ever again!!

Any news on the chat function? A lot of users on tonight and it got me thinking about how nice it would be to chat with everyone.
