Hawaii on lock down

Post by IndelibleDotInk »

Visitors or those coming back to Hawaii after a trip must now be in a mandatory 14 day quarantine.

All nonessential job workers must stay at home. Beaches, parks, etc. closed. Everything closed. No more gatherings of >5 people.

Starting 4:30p tomorrow until April 30.

Our economy is taking a big hit.

It must be very difficult to live in such a beautiful place but not be able to enjoy it fully.
Stay well.

Restrictions were eased so people could go to the store, pick up food at restaurants, use the outdoors for exercise.

STAY HOME was the stressor, no congregating, and maintain a social distance of 6ft from everyone.

My dad and I volunteer for meals on wheels, so there were a lot of kupuna (grandparents/elders/old folks) who needed food since their daycare was cancelled.

And it was easy to enjoy the beauty here, took my pup on an hour walk and felt in tune with life.
