Facts about enclosed content: Political matter : Relevant to kratom communities and more.
Edit- I'm tired but drastically revising this bc it's hard to understand even without my ramble. Ridiculous with it.
Overview:
Online communities and the internet at large are in danger of losing it's soul and value- Call it Free Speech.
It's a big deal. so please check this out. It affects what we value most highly, need and take for granted: freedom of speech on the internet. Let's drop a word to the FCC. That's what you can do about it.
Described clearly here. Just copy/past in browser and scroll down.

The POTUS signed an executive order to take take away freedom and to take control of the internet to put it bluntly. Will inadvertently allow bureaucrats to censor and control the internet. There are a number of implications. Without this protection, I don't think we'd be able to coordinate / combine our strengths in order to assert our will the way we have in the past. Every industry and agency would clamor to take control and interfere with the will of people- on any topic. Shape opinion and mold "reality" in support of various agendas, more than is already the case.
This should not be hard to imagine if you have paid attention. Think about it if you need clarity.
We are already physically separated thus compromised. The internet is our lifeline. Jump on this please.
Nothing could be easier.

Both Dems & Rep politicians have taken shots at screwing us on this, likely because everyone pushes their agendas without the careful considerations that we expect that they would have.
Seems that consequence is someone else's problem (ours)
THE SITE EXPLAINS BETTER ( SaveOnlineFreeSpeech.org )
but here's my shot at it.
Executive order to repeal Section 230. This law, put maybe too simply, has been in place since the birth of the internet. It prevents govt censorship and protects site owners from legal assault they would otherwise be exposed to. Currently under 230 we can post content without endangering the site owner bc of what we say, post or do here. Without it, it won't be worth having a website as an individual or small business. Risk would outweigh everything else.
This was demonstrated years ago when the law was in danger or revision or repeal-
Reddit went berzerk in anticipation of losing this protection. THAT is what the Reddit Exodus was all about- AND why Backpage shut down. To avoid exposure to litigation & financial destruction by censoring and regulating in advance of disaster.
This is activity that we all need to stay aware of.
This is not a fundraising campaign or some propaganda. It's a CRITICAL call to action.
NO it is NOT the AKA dammit
It's opportunity to comment to the FCC (made very fast & easy) once you understand what for and why. You can learn more by visiting the website I'm linking to -
