Its been like what, 3 years?? ever i stopped using facebook, not once i logged in. I simply lost interest. I got sick and tired wasting time watching peoples personal life stories and all the food plates. I didn't delete it, i just stopped. If i need to talk to someone i got all the people on the cell phone, or if need to text, why do i even need face book? Its like your spying at your co workers life wasting tons of time and forget to live your own, even at work, every lunch time or after work most go right to face book scrolling trough face book. People forgot these days how to value them self's... Remember every time you give time you value that. like me being on this forum, i value kratom and i care, and everyone here on this forum i value so i dont mind putting my time into it. what about you, do you still spend tons of time on facebook? Do you value it?

Deleted account at least 10 years ago. From what I hear sounds like alot of fear mongering and mis information.Don't miss it one bit.

just for those who aren't in the know

Never had it, don't want.
My family is always trying to get me to sign up.

I have it but I mainly only use it for two things.

1) Video game groups. There's some really cool gaming communities on there where I enjoy discussing games, tips, sharing screenshots, etc with my fellow gamers. Made some friends to game with in some of these groups.

2) I spent a few years living overseas so I have friends around the world that it allows me to keep in contact with via private group chats. It's kind of convenient to have everyone in one place. It's still really expensive to call overseas, so platforms like facebook are awesome for keeping in touch with everyone.

Although, as for posting on my timeline and sharing details of my life on my personal page, I rarely ever do. I don't really use that aspect of facebook.

I made a page but never used it much... like brave said, idon't want to know what people are doing like reading their minds or being obsessed with their lives, same witn them for me.

I finally opened an account last year, put a music video on it and a shout out to some long-lost relatives and haven't even visited it since. Not even sure I can access the account. Everyone in this town uses it for - well everything. But then, they are as cliquish and clannish AF. I don't know how the 'groups' even work. I'd like to think that I'm better off not having waded in those waters. Idk, if I find something useful about it I'd look around.
Sometimes if you're curious about a subject, though, facebook seems to be the only place to see it

I only use it when making serious important political decisions the week before election day. I usually stay undecided until then.

I deactivated for like a year but recently came back. There's artist pages and marketplaces that simply don't exists anywhere else. That's about all that's keeping me there.

Yeah, I miss out on some important stuff there, too.
I just live with myself for having missed out. Because if I log in, I will be 4 hours older practically instantly (humor).

It’s a time sucker/black hole in my experience. But I have a few friends who only “exist” on Facebook and some good stuff gets posted on Facebook.

There are a lot of community chat forums based there as well.

I prefer the local NEXTDOOR app in my own physical community. Facebook bought it up on day two, of course.
