Up/Down vote!

Seeing as how quite a few of us migrated here from Reddit is it possible to have some sort of up/down vote system. Doesn't have to be the same, but I think a down vote would be better then what I see on here. Just a suggestion!

I'm okay with adding a like system where users can like posts (just like Facebook), but I feel downvoting systems are toxic as hell and create echo chambers. Take a look at reddit for example. If you have an opinion outside of what the reddit hivemind thinks, you're just downvoted into oblivion. I don't want that happening here. I want people to feel free to express any opinion without fear of being downvoted or hidden.

Some other forums I frequent have removed downvoting all together and it created a much nicer environment.

I have to agree with you, e-poison. Many times I'll see a post here and would like to give it a 'like' but then I think of other forums that do it and the whole system turns into a popularity contest. It seems to me we do pretty well here. 'Liking' in a forum seems a bit too much like social engineering to me.

This 1000%, reddit is filled with bugmen. Did you see Reddit removed Aaron Schwartz from the founders section because of his political beliefs? Even after being dead for years you're still not safe from cancel culture and historical revisionism, disgraceful.

Up vote, down vote, sideways vote. Nobody but the lurkers here would want that. The other 10 frequent flyers couldn't repeat the mindless garbage they are told too. No liberal echo chamber, no stroking each others egos. No way could we allow anonymous downvotes to bury the hivemind in downward pointing thumbs. I served my suspension for telling them what to do with their liberal BS. I don't see any of the other shit starters getting suspended. Ballzdeep is always getting started then backing the fuck out until the dust settles. Him and his relentless eye roll emoji  If you see that you just got fucked BallzDeep. Was it good. There's the misogyny you women talk about, read his name. Anyway, yes on the up/down/middle finger vote.

I agree with e poison fuck the like dislike button you dont agree with something post a reply and lets talk about it. i really like the way you guys have made double m to be free speech and i like that so many of us have differing opinions. with that up vote down vote shit people will be alot more reluctant to speak their minds and we will fall into only like minds will want to speak.

Free speech, differing opinions? Where do I sign up for that. Or do I get a mail in questionnaire?

Not really sure what you mean by this...all you got to do is post a reply and say whatever you want to say.
