Testing your new kratom?
When I have been trying a new batch of kratom I toss and wash about 2-3 grams, wait for about an hour, take 2-3 grams more, the if it is not very good I take another 2-3grams. Some stuff is to potent to try the last one. Like I have tried DRHR8, which is most potent strain I have tried, and then have tried a new batch lets say DTE Platinum and can take the last toss and it will not feel as potent as the DRHR* did with only 2. I am aware that taking a hour apart effect it, but I have trying the DRHR8 at any time, 2-3 grams and it will hit...anytime. My question is with some weaker batches is it worth taking more like 8 grams to use it for pain control? Other wise it is not worth taking. I was wondering what others experience when the batch is weak? Thnx.

Some batches just aren't effective for pain in my opinion. And some batches aren't effective for anything , also on my opinion. And useless kratom is useless at any dose (nothing + nothing = nothing). I've tossed stuff I was sure was garbage and would always be so. That being said, I wouldn't rule out (especially if it's from a trusted vendor) it working nicely at another time and place. Sometimes kratom is like that.

I just go both feet head first. I almost always try my normal serving with new batches. If it's too much, I'll dial it back a bit.

I'd say the way you're dosing, multiple times, is not going to producr better or stronger effects... kratom is not exactly a 'stacking' substance. Youve heard it before, but one day youll realize less is actually more effect wise

Re: Testing your new kratom?
I always take a lighter dose when trying new kratom, even batches I don't expect to be strong. Usually I'll take around 5 grams for batches I've gotten used to so if I'm testing a new one I'll take <4 grams. I haven't found stacking to help much in any way (it doesn't even help the effects last longer to me) so if it's determined to be weak I'll go up in dose the next time.
When it comes to old batches I haven't used in a year or more, they're basically new kratom. A lot of times they hit better than I remember so I approach that the same way as far as lowering the dose. I've made the mistake of revisiting bulk/headshop kratom I've had for awhile and getting an uncomfortably strong effect from my usual dose. Those kinds of batches end up being better for blends.
