First Red Bubble?

I’ve been a lurker here for a little while, but I figure it’s a good time for my first post. I wanted to start by thanking BallzDeep9 for his detailed instructions on how to attain the mysterious red bubble. I ordered the citric acid recommended, but this one (more like an orange bubble) was achieved with lime juice. It is a 1:1 blend of Inland Botanicals’ Red Borneo and RVA’s Wild Red. I’m going to thaw it and whip up a concoction later this afternoon. On my next attempt, I think I’ll try the recipe Ballz put together for the smoothie. Basically, it is caused by the alkaloids when you freeze a water and kratom mixture.

i love frozen kratom, here recently i broke all my glass ups in the defrost step lol so back to just mixing with lemon juice and water. how long did you leave it in the freezer for?

My girlfriend tried the freezing after I mentioned it and on our first try with some BB kratom (a mix of a few) got the red bubble. Didn’t notice any difference from preparing it that way tho, prob won’t do it again.

Yeah, the file size you can attach directly is pretty low, but if you use Imgur or another image hosting site you can link any pic you want. Just FYI.

Maybe I didn't do something right, but I tried freezing kratom for the first time last week. I prepared three different doses: one froze for 4 hours, one for 8 hours, and one for 16 hours, all mixed with an orange drink containing citric acid. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary; none of them kicked in quicker or were perceptibly stronger. I didn't even check for the red bubble though. Did I do something wrong?
