Thinking of ordering from Kratom-OG. Anyone have experience with them and their product?

Any feedback or reviews / recommendations are appreciated, I dont mind paying a little more for quality and consistency

I've been wanting to go with them, but the word is they've been inundated with orders, thanks to the panic of '18, and there's a bit of a waiting list to place an order.

Yeah just to let you know, I placed my first order last Monday and paid for it that same day, and have not gotten shipping info yet, I told them no rush at all and due to the holidays and what not I’m hoping it will be shipped by Friday but I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t make it to me this week. Which is ok, I have no problem waiting for consistent quality

Welcome to the board, Staxxats. KOG is as good as it gets, IMO, but they are not the least expensive vendor (though very reasonably priced for what you get, I think). And as others have noted, it can take some time to get your order, and right now they're not necessarily accepting any while they catch up with orders already placed.

So you should inquire directly with K-OG when you want to place an order, and then be prepared to wait for them to email you back then pay, then get your package to USPS, all of which can take over a week. On the up side, though, it's rare to find a vendor with such consistently great leaf, so for me it's worth the time and effort involved. I still do not hesitate to recommend them, just be aware it's not the easiest or fastest ordering process.

I placed my order on 11/17 (Saturday)
It shipped on 11/26 (with the holidays that was real quick, like 3 working days - M-T-W of last week)
I should receive it tomorrow 11/29
I told them I was willing to wait as they're slammed with panic orders. This wasn't a problem for me as I had planned this month to be my final order of the year (i hadn't ordered from any where since Sept).
I've never ordered from them before so it was a bit confusing at first. And with such a wide selection of product available I had a difficult time narrowing it down to just 4.

Well smoken fire, I paid for mine the morning of 11/19 so 2 days after yours hopefully mine ships out today or tomorrow. Today is atleast the 5th business days.

I have been trying to place an order for weeks now and I have been told to write again in 5-7 days because they have a backup and then when I have written again I've gotten similar responses. I want a split kilo of reds, selected which reds, yet the response has been that they are busy and should contact them again soon. It's endlessly disappointing. I've bought from them in the past and I will say the quality is excellent.

Yeah I feel like it's not worth all the inconvenience. Maybe if/when he gets back on top of things he'll let us know. I'm not going to wait weeks just to have the ability to order, then more weeks to receive the package. I understand times are tough but I'll go with someone that's ready to ship. Just saying.

I remember the day in Nov 2017 - One year ago - when Harry first got slammed with orders. What a crazy year it's been.

Welcome to 2019. Kratom has really BOOM'd and - Kratom-OG is one of the best sources - Worth the wait, for sure. Keep trying! He's got the most variety and selection out of 200 online vendors ( I have a catalog of all 200 ) Quality stands up to anyone. Customer Service is good. He has taken time to post here, even.

As the USA market grows & we're seeing more niche vendors. KOG is maybe not the choice for newbies just starting out. Other vendors have Sample Packs and cater to Ounce buyers... Harry serves the connoisseur and Bulk market. He's one of the FEW with enough experience and Indo contacts, to provide that... Just READ his website & understand: Processing Time 4-7 Business Days!

Ok so my package says it is being shipped out today so it took 5-6 business days. So That’s exciting now I have packages from KOG, Liza’s and treasure house Otw gonna be a good weekend! Maybe try ordering on a Sunday or Monday morning so that way most of your processing days would likely be the week you ordered.

Received my order from KOG today I woke up a little late so my schedule is off today so I won’t get to try the greens but I will try the red Aceh tonight. A sample of the og green Aceh was included and I’ll probably try that tomorrow!

How can I make an order with them? I've tried for quite awhile.and either get no response to my order email or one that says they're closed and try again another day .I've done this 5 different times

Right now it's kind of hit-and-miss with K-OG because he's swamped with panic buys. And it also makes a difference what you're ordering: if all you're getting are samples, your order is being set aside for now because they are very time consuming to fill.

Wiffy decided to just push my evening burn back to go ahead and try the og green Aceh! You got me too excited burned 4g and I can feel a grin forming on my face that’s a good sign!

HOWEVER, that's good news, and the sign of an honest vendor: the good ones will close temporarily not only to catch up, but to inventory and make damn sure they're not selling what they don't have if the website stock isn't correct. RVA's done this kind of temp shutdown before, for example, and I'm sure others have had partial slowdowns/shutdowns too.

I respect the hell out of that, it takes a lot of balls to temporarily shut down (and have to tell your loyal customers no) but they usually come back online soon. It's a also a guarantee that there will be no exit scamming, which maybe our newer members have not had the displeasure of seeing or knowing about. So hang in there, people -- and in the meantime try another vendor. There's still a lot of good leaf out there.

Like I said... a sample wasn't quite enough for me. But I never got around to ordering more before the current situation, so I have my sample tucked away until I can get more. Definitely good stuff, IMO.

Dude, read some more reviews before you decide. There are some others that are getting fantastic shoutouts right now, and several that are closer to RVA's pricepoint than Inland's (nothing against Inland!) if that's a sticking point.

I say this not only because it's always good to have as many vendors in your stock as possible for strain rotation, but because with the panic buying right now it's the lesser known vendors who still have the great leaf AND the stock, if only because not that many people have heard of them so they're not getting their shelves emptied as quickly as the other, better known vendors.

So to me, this is the -perfect- time to try some new ones. Acadica just restocked, for example (and we're all getting our packages) and that's gonna go fast, plus others like Okie, Treasure House, Liza's etc are getting really good press here by the regulars. Take a chance, look over the vendor list, read some reviews, and try someone new if you can. IIRC (?) you already have RVA leaf, so maybe get something else you haven't tried before, IMO.

That's my two cents, anyhow.

I just got a reply from Kratom-og and they said they'll be back up taking orders probably by the weekend or early next week. Got a bit from Acadica and Lizas, so my last Christmas present to myself will be some quality leaf from OG when they're ready for new orders. Those who were able to make orders, what is on point from them? Muchos Gracias!

I've got a small collection from a few different vendors. I have Sosa and mystic island samples. I had half a kilo of Johnson's . That's been the best so far. I got 500 from Liza and 500 from Alaska clover. I went with rva this time. I picked up red and green maeng da, green Vietnam and white Hulu. Next time I'm going to try inland. I'll look around a bit more. There are a few more I want to check out. thanks whiffypants
