That's the damn truth. I used to live down the street from two little old ladies -- one late 80s, the other early 90s -- and they seemed like the sweetest, most angelic people. The grannies I'd always wished I'd had. Until I got to know them better, and then it was clear that 1) not angels are heavenly, and 2) they had reached that age primarily because the devil himself was too scared to take 'em in.

The moral of today's story? Don't fuck with the old'uns, kids. Truth: you have no idea what kind of hellish scenario you might be unleashing.

Looks like I'm late chiming in on this...57, daily user for near 4 years now. I like to stay active, and Kratom helps me to do that. Honestly don't think I could do all the things I still do now without it (or at least enjoy it as much). My wife calls it "new age Geritol", haha...I have told a lot of even older folk about it, and it has changed their lives. I for one, will NEVER be without it (legal or not).

I don't see the harm for us old guys, long as you are responsible in its use, get regular check-ups including full blood work just to be safe. Keeps me off the couch and out and about... getting exercise, being active and social and most of all HAPPY. Leave it to the Government to try and take away whatever makes the elderly happy. It's really a shame. I think I'm quite old enough to decide what I want to put in my body for heavens sake. Do you guys ever listen to the SIDE EFFECTS on the commercials for a lot of the new FDA approved drugs out there. NO THANKS, I'll keep my tree leaf, thank you very much!
