Most places have samples. You can buy a good spread of what the vendor has to offer. Depends what your looking for. Completely free samples (meaning not having to pay shipping either) is a different story.
Watch the trading post here. There are tons of samplers being sold here.

You can also go to the "contact us" tab on most vendors websites and ask about what your looking for. Let them know what you are using it for and you will usually get good feedback. Use the vendors list off this site. Best people to work with.

Couldn't agree more. Check the vendors list posted on here and select a handful of vendors to evaluate. Honestly per that list almost all those vendors offer samplers and you really can't go wrong with any of them. Also check out the Vendor and Strain reviews section. Look for some glowing reviews there then reach out and get a sample from that vendor. Definitely a good way to at least get a good referral for a newly purchased sample!
