Capsule machine question

Hello I am looking to buy a capsule machine are they usually simple to use? I dont know what size capsules I need. I take 1 tsp of white 1 tsp of green and 1/4 tsp of red 2 times a day. I see They have 3 different size capsules 0, 00, and 000. I toss and wash now but need capsules for my trips.

Pretty sure its the triple 0's that hold just under a gram.

Lots of conflicting opinions on the cap filling machines. Have you tried your hand at filling them manually?

I make my potentiator caps (black pepper, ginger, tumeric) by just pouring everything into a bowl, and then dip and cap. Its not that hard really and once you get a system going its cake.

I am going to look into building my own tool though. Have some ideas.

I have never tried it some say its easy others its a pain you get kratom everywhere. I would be taking 10 grams total a day so its going to take lots of capsules.

I purchased a few different capsule 'filling machines', but they both just held the capsules upright, so make sure you read reviews first. Eventually, I went to Lowe's and bought one of those peg boards that people use to hang tools up and re drilled the holes out to fit the bigger caps, but it should fit the smaller ones without drilling, then I just press the caps in there, pour some powder down, spread it out and use a pencil to pack it, I could get about 40 in one go. I ended up getting tired of doing this and eating big capsules, so I just put a teaspoon full in my mouth, take a sip of OJ and swish it around, it's super easy this way for anything under 5gr. Good luck.

This is rhe one i use. It is basically 2 pills equivalent to 1 gram. These are 00 caps. The 000 ar me basically 1 gram a piece. But this capsule machine is so easy to use. You can type in 00 capsule machine in youtube and watch how easy. I also bought the machine and 1000 capsules for 28 dollars on ebay.

I do toss and wash now but using capsules will be much easier when traveling. Thanks for the info

I use this machine and get 24 of the 00 size per filling. Each capsule holds .6 gram (a little ver 1/2 gram) once tamped down.
Be sure you buy the tamper with the unit. I ordered mine directly from Capsule Connection. I order my capsules directly from them as well. Better quality then the ones from capsule connection on Amazon. I think Amazon is using a generic brand and slapping the capsule connection label on the bags. The packaging is different and the Capsule Connection capsules at Amazon just don't seem to fit the machine properly.

I got one off ebay for like $25 for turmeric, ginger etc. They are awesome! If you buy the capsules already separated it's insanely fast to make them. Be sure to fill, then tap machine to settle the powder, then fill some more. I also put the spacer on the top part of the capsules and fill that side as well to make sure they are full... I say give'r eh!

I also use the one called “The Capsule Machine” whenever I do fill caps. I have the 00 version and you can fill 24 capsules in a minute or two. It comes with a tamper, which is important. I think I average somewhere around .6 gram per capsule with the 00 caps.

Make sure if you buy one that it comes with a tamping tool. Some of the less expensive ones don't. Also it you are going to be filling capsules frequently try to find pre-separated capsules. It saves a ton of time.

That's a good machine and a reasonable price.

I made 100 at once using capsule connection, it usually takes me about 30 minutes per batch. I do Have arthritis tho so I’m a bit slow on fine motor tasks.
