International UPS Shipment Deliveries

I'm interested in ordering overseas not only for the price but also because I've been reading quality complaints of wholesale kratom sold in the U.S. are quite common. If I knew I would be getting my package eventually then I would be willing to wait.

Do you know if people are getting their International Packages delivered after FDA inspection, paying broker fees to UPS, submitting social security number and/or other requirements?

Hi Kratom101, and welcome to the board.

I haven't heard anything except rumor at this point in regard to what is and is not getting seized, but one of our members made an astute suggestion yesterday: if you're buying direct from Indo, have the seller ship it C.O.D. That way you're both protected in case your shipment takes months, or doesn't arrive at all.

Frankly, I wouldn't rely on anything I'm hearing right now unless it was from someone who I know for a fact -personally- imports directly from Indo and actually knows what they're talking about. These are usually vendors, but there are a few individuals as well who import directly. I say this because it's not just that there are rumors flying, but we've also seen at least one person (on Reddit) who wanted to offload some bunk leaf by capitalizing on the shipping problem and creating a panic. Lots of truly bad info flying around right now, so take care.

yeah I made that suggestion whiffy, but not sure how practical it would be on cost.. Extra fees for COD are high.

Cost has been 1 big reason for US consumers ordering Direct.. and I really, really, hope they get postal working again !! So many questions right now, I was searching around Facebook yesterday for any clue.. Nothing. Business as usual from vendors?

Indo's are advertising UPS shipping, and screen shots of successful UPS delivery.. NO stats, or talk, about UPS shipments being held. How many of those are being mis-labeled (smuggled) as Green Tea or whatever.

Thanks for posting this Kratom101. Hopefully we'll get some answers .. first I have heard about any "broker fees" for individual small package. Customs Broker is for Air Cargo. SS#, personally I would not do that. Wow .. hearing some bad rumors on UPS, Fed-X, DHL.

So this guys been consistent with his updates until package got held, then he offered my money back. If it’s been held this long is there a chance of me getting it? This is crushed leaf shipped ups. Ups definitely not the way to go
