What’s your top 5 vendors?

Denette
TFH (these often switch back and forth for me between 1 and 2)
Rhino
Mitraman
Liza
(although the first two occupy 95% of my stash, which will last me the next eight years or so. Doesn't mean I won't buy more, particularly from the top 2, just means I don't NEED any more :>).

TFH
Denette615
Smiley Time Harvest (the last year has been spectacular)
Mitraman - his "Secret" strains in particular rock
Rhino Remedies (especially his E provider)
Note that this is "currently" - subject to change as time goes on.
Also, I haven't purchased from Rhino recently, but I included him because when his E provider is on target it's knocked-outta-the-park good.

Denette615
Down to Earth Botanicals
TFH
Lucky
Rhino
(LSMS and Nodfather are top 5 in terms of quality IMO, just haven't ordered enough to make a fair judgment). Most of my purchases are the top 3 esp Dte over the last 18 months)

My top two are DTE and TFH and they occupy 80% of my stash. The remaining mostly consist of LSMS, Mitraman, Nodfather, and Denette (sad to see such a well loved vendor close up shop).

I have like, 47. A seriously longer list and I'd love to have stuff from each vendor I heart hard. Here is six, plus a sad post script.
TFH
Denette
Nodfather
Entheofarm
Wildcraft
Otie's
There are many others that deserve to be here. One of my all time favorites has been Botanical Bunny. I think they are going out of biz? Had they inventory, they'd be on the top list.
I feel like a jackass for that which I didn't include. There are some I love that I can't seem to intercept their 'drop dates' but their product is irrefutably golden. Others, it is nearly criminal they are not in my list. I have a fixed income where I'm disabled, my partner has cancer and each month is like Sophie's Choice. Ok, terrible comparison.

D615 (sadly he is closing up shop)
STH
TFH
LSMS
Rhino
Honorable mention is MM secret stuff, DTE, and Nodfather.

Lately my current tops have been Hudson Valley and Liza’s. Hudson Valley has great whites/greens and Liza’s has some amazing blends.
STH and Otie’s are also in my current rotation. Even have some Mitraman in there. I will have to leave some reviews soon.

TFH, Fused Flora, LSMS, Soul, Heavenleaf... I know Laura isn't selling much anymore and soul is unpredictable, but it is what it is.

Do any of the above mentioned vendors give samples? I’ve got so many strains I’ve bought that just don’t work for me.

That’s not necessarily true. I’ve been using kratom for a few years and things work for me, some more than others.

I’ve got a few favorites that still work. Herbal RVA has been my go to for a few years and have tried to branch out without much success. So can anyone suggest a vendor that might provide samples?

Entheofarm
Seems like everyone loves these guys and I had never heard of them until a couple of days ago. Looks like a new one to try for sure.
I haven't had much spare money of late, but I've been juicing the turnip just enough for about a half kilo of 125s for the last few DTE drops, so I'm not THAT out of the loop...or at least I THOUGHT I wasn't anyway...

DTE does samplers before the drop, if something catches your eye, you can try it first. That's one that I know of.
https://dtebotanicals.com/samplers/
Here is the DTE sampler page from their mid-Nov drop. Just FYI, I'm in no way affiliated except that I'm a customer.

I’m always extremely wary of vendors that are suddenly super popular. I never know if they are actually good OR it’s just hype. I’ve seen way too many brand new vendors get mad hyped up over the years… only to try them myself and then be super disappointed.

But if I do try them, what do you recommend right now?

Oh wow I’m pretty surprised they’re still available- typically they sell out within a couple of hours. I think everyone was so excited about the Halloween drop, they forgot about samplers. I did at first, then I placed a separate order for sampler 2. I assumed Drew would ship the sampler with my Halloween order- I feel so bad he shipped them separately, especially because he offers free shipping :/ such a good dude

If you try any of the top vendors on here, I promise it’ll open up a whole new world lol. DoubleM standards are generally higher than Facebook standards. I say that as someone who purchased primarily from vendors advertised on Facebook and migrated to DoubleM.

Just recently heard of Entheofarm and pulled the trigger to try them out. I fully regret the money I spent, got 7 different 100g bags (expensive btw) and 5 out of 7 of them are seemingly the same leaf. All but one had these traits: excess air exposure, old smell, oxidized, what seemed like alkaloid degradation and grainy coarse grind. It reminded me of low quality head shop kratom from the beginning of my kratom journey many years ago. Now I've had good leaf that was coarse before, not this stuff. I let them know and was turned off by the 5 replies I got back from Jon in one day. Yes 5 replies before I even had a chance to respond, and two of them were very long. And aside from him mixing me up with another customer that made a complaint, I won't go into detail I'm not trying to call him out, but being in sales myself, it all read as fluff. He did offer to send samples and go from there, but I just let it go. I'm astonished by some of the reviews about the same leaf I ordered, to feeling like I fell into a trap or something. First and last time ordering from them.

You could try trade chat, I have got some rare vendor strains, still sealed at a pretty good price. Just make sure to check sellers rep, if want to be on the safe side.

Entheofarm is legit, just to provide a different perspective (not that what Wicked said isn't valid)
They've been in business for a long time, one of the oldest vendors still around. Jon is great in caring for customers, and truly has a passion for leaf and the experiences of those who buy from him (maybe the 5 emails was excessive, but what did those emails say?)... Wicked, I can vouch for Jon and promise it's not fluff. He likely was just trying to explain why his leaf looks a certain way, etc etc. It's better than a vendor ignoring a customers dissatisfaction IMO. He really is a good guy (IMO again).
They have a lot of blends, and much of their leaf is not bright green. Many strains are gritty in texture with stem n vein left in at least partially. The grainy course grind is how leaf was long ago. I believe Entheofarm has been around since 2009. I started using leaf in 2015 and all leaf for the most part looked like dirt
Their leaf is excellent for pain relief (for me, at least, and a few others I know). Very balanced, full spectrum style profiles to many strains (a lot of the blends do seem similar in effects, but they have a lot of full spectrum-all-colors strains especially the blends). Almost every strain I've tried has been a winner for me. But again, the course gritty grinds, oxidized or ferment/partial fermented leaf work for me, so that may play a role in how one likes or dislikes their leaf. Their is descriptions to most strains with some explanation to each strain and if its a blend or not and the photos of each strains are what those strains actually look like.
I have found I like their regular strains over their blends (Orange Maeng Da, however, is my favorite of his blends and one of my favs of his leaf in general though). Red Vein Thai, Super Red Maeng Da, Green Maeng Da M.5, Green Ketapang, Green Malay, Sun (Red) Bali are all some top picks from them for me. They are one of my favorite vendors now. A little more expensive, but worth it for me.
Not discounting anyone else's experiences with them. Just adding another perspective.

You're old school too, so I guess that means I'm going to just have to order a couple of strains and see how they bite.
I appreciate both of your perspectives and find kratom is very polarized in it's effect on people sometimes. It just means that I have to bite the bullet and see for myself.

Hey B! I highly recommend Entheofarm as well, If you do order use code "Reddit20". A nice 20% off really helps these days

Jon will help you out with more specifics over email if you have questions as to specs on batches. The website is vague for legal reasons, I imagine. You can start with just a few ounces, cause the owner throws a shit-ton of samples in there for first orders

. I think I got 8 samples during my very 1st order.

My top vendor as far as best quality is (was) Denette, but top vendor in terms of who I have the most from is definitely Mitraman. Good kratom, does lab testing, fast shipping, and excellent customer service. The others in my top 5 would be STH, Lucky's and DTE in that order.

I wanted to like Entheo, I've given it 4 different separate tries, disappointing and gave me a headache. I tried the Orange MD, Super Red MD, Red Bali, and Green Keta...I don't get where people say high pain relief and great quality.

Lonestar Mitrasource(LSMS), STH, Mitraman in that order.
