Kratom good for allergy ?

So i have seen mentioned Kratom helped someone with their allergic reactions, and recommended it to wifey for her pollen fever. She agreed to test it out so i stuffed two 000 caps for her. It worked for her, i keep giving her two capsules anytime she sneezes hard (not daily tho).
I wonder what experience may fellow Kratomites have in any possible diagnosis ? That "symphony" of alkaloids may have unthought of therapeutic qualities, and since official research moves so slow for obvious reasons, we may as well just collect anecdotal evidence of any positive effects.

I have seen some people reporting it helps. However, I haven't found it has any effect on my seasonal allergies. Still pretty miserable every spring/summer unless I take loads of benadryl. I've tried claratin and nondrowsy meds, but they tend to make me feel weird, sometimes nauseous.

Totally. One of the alkaloids probably has an anti histamine effect, I've experienncrd the same thing in the past.

It does the same thing for me, some kinds more than others. I always assumed it was because of the anti-inflammatory nature of kratom, but you could be right. Either way the sinus opening of kratom is a most welcome side effect!

It doesn't make much of a difference for me. However, I've noticed certain antihistamines significantly mute the pleasurable aspects of kratom for me. Claritin (loratidine) is the worst, Zyrtec (cetirizine) is slightly more forgiving.

YES, Kratom totally helps with allergies. I used a prescription nose spray and eye drops my entire life because my allergies are so bad. Since starting kratom almost 2 years ago I have never had to use any allergy medication.....NONE!!. Just recently our entire house and cars were covered in pollen because there is so much in this area and still, nothing, no allergic reaction whatsoever!!... I also just found out that the steroidal nose spray causes ADHD, Aggression, sleeplessness and anxiety. I have all of those mental health conditions and have had a tough time in life due to them, I now highly suspect it was caused by "safe FDA approved" drugs!!! Plants not pills!!! I LOVE KRATOM!!!!
