I was emailed from someone over there claiming that he will sell 55 dollar Kilo's with free shipping to the US

Although the price sounds tempting I don't think I would take a chance that something would go wrong, plus I don't trust doing business outside of the US

There's a couple vendors on the vendor listing page that are based out of Indonesia. One offers a 5 kilo deal for $230 including shipping. It really just depends on who the email came from. Personally I would stick with what I know is safe.

It took me about a month and I went through multiple Indo farmers to find a good one to get my crushed leaf. Some of them were pushy and when I had questions, some either didn't give me what I thought should be the right answers or just seemed "off". I finally found one that I liked, but ultimately it was up to me to pull the trigger, and I have huge problems with blind trust. I did it, he's a great guy, and everyone that has gotten crushed leaf through me, have had no complaints. I guess you just have to do your due diligence and have a little bit of luck.

There are many "independent" sellers in Indonesia. In reality they usually work for the larger vendors, groups and clearinghouses. I was introduced to a vendor in Indonesia by a state side vendor ~2 years ago, it was almost a year after I started talking to then before I ever ordered anything. They were very helpful, they were knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge, they were forthcoming on the various processes used to create the powder. Even after being so helpful and forthcoming it was almost a year before I ordered anything, but it just seemed super sketchy to send some rando Indo a half world away a bunch of money. I say a "bunch" but in reality it was the equivalent of what I was spending a month buying a couple of bottle of Choice Botanicals jumbo caps, but still I was hesitant. The vendor to their credit was never pushy, or rude. They always answered my questions promptly, within 5 minutes of asking, no matter the time of day. I worked a rotating DuPont style shift, and it never really dawned on me that many times I was asking questions it was the middle of the night for them. I eventually bought and am glad that I did. I've met and talked with other Indo vendors who are pushy, kind of rude and really just make me wary of sending a bunch of money half way around the world. From my experience $50-$60 is the average price of a kilo shipped, for small orders they will often send it rather quickly, usually takes 4-7 days. Larger orders ~+5 kilos and it is usually a 7-10 days wait for product to arrive. Some important questions to ask is what their drying process is like? Is it off the ground? Is it indoors? Is it on a tarp spread out on the ground with the kids and garbage from the locals walking or blowing through it? DO they know how to ship kratom internationally? Are they aware that it has to have MSDS (material safety data sheets) attached? If they are unwilling to talk about the last few points that is a good indicator that you should look to spend your money with another Indonesian vendor.

In that case, I definitely wouldn't order. Even if you don't get scammed, there's no guarantee the kratom isn't junk.

I remember one time when I was still fairly new, there was a new "vendor" selling powder. He took pictures of these packages of kratom on his sofa with dirty socks next to it, yuck. I was thinking, "Man, whoever buys that shit, deserves whatever he/she gets."

The Top 20 Indo Supplier List on SAIDIT, is really your best starting point. These are ALL veteran, experienced, well established sources who sell wholesale to US vendors. ALL have a history and references. There is a ( $ ) Preferred column, those who are recommended for small direct orders. You're guaranteed the Shipping will be done right.

But, there's surely 100+ Indo sources who pop-up on Facebook or MeWe and will show pics of bags and boxes (Never show pics of the drying process! ) Many are high school kids in Pontianak who have a contact at a local Warehouse .. like Azrael said "Independent Sellers" but more like Re-sellers. They probably know nothing about where the leaf is really from, what village .. Suppliers/ Distributors in Pontianak buy the crushed dried leaf from villagers far up the Kapuas River.

There are a few in Sumatra, in fact Sumatra Gardens (see List) is an American who married an Indonesian and lives near Medan, or Aceh province there. So.. If you want the REAL Red Aceh, he's prob good place to start Also has a US warehouse. A few do that, Kratomind is another one if you're worried about US Customs. Good Luck!

Kratomind does have great stuff. He sent me a sample of his crushed leaf (green MD) and it was great. I hate making positive comments about other people that sell crushed leaf, but credit where credit is due, lol.

I ordered from goldengreenkratom.com with success. I sent the person $80 usd through money Gram and received 3 kilos about 2 1/2 weeks later. It came with a note on the side that stated exactly what it was. If I remember correctly it said something like mytragynine speciosa samples for resaerch puposes. Im sure that was a disclaimer for customs. I had to download WhatsApp to talk to the guy and he always gave me updates and answered promptly anytime I had a question. He will also send you a complete list of inventory. He denied to sale me a few different strains because he said they were exclusive to other vendors. That kind of turned me off to the whole process. Person told me they were the suppliers for Gaia.

Golden Green Kratom yes, known for the real "Wild Leaf" strains .. Fhietra is the owner. Great guy. He also spent some time on Reddit last year, answering questions and providing info and help.

I say REAL Wild because, his brand was so good, that he started getting copycats .. other Indo suppliers using the name

yeah that's not correct .. he's very successful, and I don't believe he sells direct under 10 kg now .. that's why there is a Minimum number on the Supplier List .. You'll find his Wild kratom at Botanical Bunny, Kats, RVA, and other quality US vendors.

I was just looking at your Indo List on Saidit, and you have Golden Green listed at a 5 kilo minimum. Has his minimum gone up since June? If you don't know that's cool; I'll contact him and ask. But if the dude is getting out of bed to answer American inquiries I'd rather he got his rest, so I'm asking you first.

As an aside -- I had no idea Fhietra is Golden Green; I remember him from Reddit. Great guy. If he can do a 5 kilo order, he's -definitely- got my business.

That Minimum # listed is a general ball-park figure; a lot changes in 3 months, 6 months.. competition is tougher than ever. Dozens of new Indo's have set up shop in recent months, putting up websites.. of course they're ALL wanting Wholesale business. I think it's fair to say NO Indo supplier, on that List.. really wants to bother with single kilo orders.

The Indo Supplier list WAS created as a general reference.. A Minimum # was added, after getting some complaints, that some US consumers didn't understand and were asking for retail sales ... However I guess they're happy to be listed, it's a badge of pride, there was never any such directory before. Since I'm not a large vendor, I'm not in regular contact.

I hear stories, rumors, reports, of who's selling what and where.. there IS definite competition over "who gets" a large US Wholesale account. GGK has been very successful over the past year. Last I heard, he's busy and I've not heard anything about wanting to sell Direct .. The more they Wholesale, the LESS a supplier would sell Direct to consumer - That would be under-cutting his US vendors of course

Next Indo Supplier listing will be expanded, and I'll feature MORE of the small distributors, who are targeting Direct US sales.

If his business is so good that he can't mess around with small orders, I'll be happy for him! And a bit disappointed for me.





EDITED TO ADD: I got an email back from him today (9/11/18); he is not currently dealing in 5 kilo amounts, but may do so next month in a limited promotion and if he does, he'll let me know. Ah, well.
