I can tell the difference between green, fresh and clumpy vs. darker drier bulk.
I can tell the difference too, one is darker and drier. Mystic Isle kratom isn't dark but it is drier. Quite dusty. I challenge you to find dustier kratom. The "teaspoon" dosers will over dose themselves bc fine, dry powder packs tightly together. It's "smaller" and heavier and this kratom is strong. It's different but somehow familiar at the same time. But while everyone wondered why each variety looked almost identical while those that need to secure conclusions first - worked really hard to establish that it really is all the exact same product with different names, I wondered why they'd use bags with a window on it- I mean appearance isn't one of it's strengths. It's the impact so why not protect it better... But whatever.
It was Autumn and I was ready to find out what reds are about. I'm sure glad it was mostly M.I. kratom that gave me the tour that winter.
Are you talking about back then or the new and improved? There are plenty of other dry dusty batches I could name but won't. I've also got a bunch of other stuff people are going gaga over on here and it all looks exactly the same to me, no difference in color at all, but havent done an effects test to discern any difference. I got some of Mystic's free samples of the newer and haven't tried all of them yet but looks and smells pretty fresh.
ok, tried phatcracker and gandalf white wizard and it wasn't bad kratom, there were tolerance issues going on in my head, but a week break would take that away. I feel the names show interest with their product, a creative bent, not just boring x-209.
i like the nice, matte brown plastic bags with window, information stated on the bag, good sized sample, 25g
I would buy from mystic island again with enthusiasm in the future. (After a full week of kratom break.)

Before this thread spirals out of control, I spoke to Mystic Island before they posted here. They didn't just come back out of the blue, they contacted me and asked for permission to post here and explained their new business model. I said YES.
They sent me a sample of their new stuff from their new supplier and it's pretty good. I also remember how much they did for us when we were first getting off the ground. Giving away tons of free kratom over on our mm subreddit, hosting our giveaways, and also their kratom was pretty good back in the day. Yes they may have had some negative reviews once the infamous supplier problem came about, but before that they had tons of positive and glowing reviews.
To the best of my knowledge, that particular supplier issue has been fixed. They went back to drawing board, got a new supplier, and want to give it another shot. That's why I gave them the green light to post here. It's my call. I'm going to give them the chance to make up for past supplier issues due their otherwise good history.
And THAT, e_poison, is an example of the many things that make DoubleM such a great - and enjoyable - and appreciated - place
In short, it's a class act, especially for someone like me, almost a year into the kratom adventure. And I thank you for providing such a reliable, quality forum full of good information and great people.

Thank you. We are not going anywhere that is for sure. We have been thinking about a way to change things up and are close to coming to a decision. We do have a giveaway coming up in the near future. Not sure on the amount but will be giving away 5-10 kilos of kratom. Just have to get organized before we do so. Cheers.

I havent ordered from Mystic in a couple years I think. But never experienced anything but good service and pretty decent leaf.
The Vampire and Big Red were always good, in particular.
I will probably place another order with them in the near future. I have zero reluctancies. No hesitation whatsoever.
They made a poor decision, they admitted it, and they learned from it. They never screwed anyone over, to my knowledge.

I ordered through this company years ago and was pretty loyal.
The last 2 orders i had bought from them were awful. No effects whatsoever and they all smelled & looked "off". I never got any refund or replacement after MANY attempts of contacting them about the issues.
I would not recommend this company... at all.

As for us not responding to your emails, Katie our office manager makes it her life mission at work to make sure that every customer is taken care of, that is one of my philosophies and I stand behind that 100%. I do not know if there was a problem with the email address or a timing issue, or whatever the case may have been but we would definitely like to look into it further. I think at this point it is important to do so. If you would like to DM us with your email or order name we can definitely look into it and ship out to you some of our new product free of charge to make things right.

I received my two samples within two days of my request (East coast). I asked for anything but whites and received Green Papua & Red Hulu Kupuas. Two nicely packaged 25g resealable bags. The powder looks, smells & feels fine to me, haha. I have not tested either one yet.
UPDATE:
Mystic's Green Papua is fantastic, for me & my needs. Belly radiating warm energy up to the chest. Physically motivating and clear-headed. A bit sweaty but without any jitters. Decent legs on it too. This is two days in row; yesterday morning and today, late afternoon. Dose each time was around 2+g capped. I have no choice but to order more of this, haha, thanks for the offer Mystic.
