How do I request pain relief

Post by Melificent311 »

Hi y'all
I know that there are words to avoid when communicating with vendors. I try to be very careful and considerate. My question is, when I order whatever they recommend, how do I -low key- let them know what effect I am looking for?
I'd appreciate any ideas!
Thanks :)

Back in the day leaf was referenced in regard to candles. That’s where the term “burn” comes from. One might enjoy a nice red candle with a potent relaxing aroma at the end of the day. You could ask for strains that provide strong relieving aromas. Or just straight up ask what has the best relief (from consumers) I’ve found that alot of the old code word systems aren’t really used these days. Or melt…I like melt..now I want grilled cheese

Hi - Very good Question - unfortunately, vendors can't discuss ANY "Medical Claims" about kratom - in regard to their so-called strains - You cannot, and should NOT - Ask a vendor ANY question about Pain Relief. :? OR - Detox, or any medical condition. Including PAIN. Sorry ....

Kratom is NOT approved by the FDA, for Treatment of any Pain. For a vendor to ANSWER that question - could get the vendor in trouble. Shut Down! In fact the AKA, American Kratom Assn, is turning in, reporting to FDA, "snitching", attacking - Any small vendor who is caught giving Medical Advice.

You CAN, Ask about Chronic Pain - right HERE on Double MM! (Notice very few vendors, participate here!) :) - Best advice ? Don't worry about fake "strains". Get the best quality, strongest, Green color kratom powder you can find.... Take your kratom, in the lowest serving to give relief - along with another pain reliever, Ibuprofen or CBD. The Combo of good kratom, along with CBD - can give you amazing pain relief!

Thanks for your reply. I know that they cannot answer those questions and that I should never ask. I don't want to get anyone in trouble. That is why I did ask here- and not there. That is entirely why I made my post, wondering how I could indirectly give a clue without asking for medical advice. :?

"I'm your typical old timer, all beat up and slow to get moving in the morning, what kind of feedback have you been getting from people like me?"

I don't know, but maybe there wouldn't be any issue if the vendor replied, "The Red Sunset Borneo has been getting a lot of good word of mouth", or words to that effect as I made up the name.

Don't ask vendors anything that would essentially bait them into recommending anything "to treat" - anything. That's what asking about relief is asking for - in the eyes of someone setting out to cause damage. If it's not strict anymore, it could be strict all of a sudden at a later time. What happened when it wasn't strict will be used destructively. Surprise attack is hardly a new idea. Fairness and reason don't apply under legal attack. All you can do is keep the trap shut. Anyone that has had the police at their door can probably relate.

If you interact socially and they volunteer something, fine. But you don't need them to do that! Don't put them at risk by tempting or pressuring. They can legally sell the stuff. They can't legally recommend it for anything. Forget about "free country" bc it's not. No it isn't. But as a consumer you can pretty much say what you want. Don't put your vendor in a precarious position. Being lax becomes habit and then it happens.

Here you are. Perfect! Ask opinions from other consumers. The vendor is not and cannot be in the business of prescribing or recommending. Thinking about Vendor A? Then post - "Anyone here get good relief from something from vendor A?"
What could be simpler?
Dont' listen to anyone tempting you to tempt others or be careless. People around here need to be more mindful, responsible and less damaging. Most here were not there when shit was hitting the fan. We've come a long, long way but don't tempt fate.

Ask your vendor what are the most popular reds at the moment. That does it usually.

The AKA stuff shouldn’t surprise me - I know enough at my age to know not to trust most things to be as they seem - but it is still disheartening. And I think about how many people in the kratom community promote them. And ask to give them more money, which they most certainly do not need. 😞

There are two sides to every story and while I'm no advocate of the AKA I can at least understand their position.

They don't want the FDA to have ANY excuse to ban Kratom (and, yes, there are lots of misguided folks here on the forum who don't believe in Big Pharma. There are also many folks who still believe in a flat earth so we have to just understand not everyone uses their brain God gave them). So AKA "turns in" those vendors who might give FDA purchase into this result. I don't agree with it, but at least I get why they might be doing it and don't paint them as evil, just wrongheaded (again, like the folks who don't understand Big Phama rules a LOT of our society).

I wouldn't give money to the AKA but I won't censor them, either.

Super fair and valid and resonates with me. I guess I wish the aka would “lean in” with those vendors, at least once, and tell them to knock it off. A bit too rose colored glasses hope I realize.
